Jasson Dominguez maintains high-volume role despite cold streak and Yankees team struggles

Dominguez has hit a rough patch at the plate, batting just .167 over the last seven days for a second-place Yankees squad currently enduring a difficult seven-game losing streak. Despite a scary collision with Jazz Chisholm Jr. earlier this week, the young outfielder has avoided the injured list and remains the primary starter in right field. With key power hitters like Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton currently sidelined, his presence in the heart of the order remains vital to the lineup.

His .213 season average is slightly trailing our projected mark of .238, largely due to a spike in strikeouts over the last fortnight. However, his power-speed blend remains intriguing for fantasy managers, evidenced by four stolen bases in the last 14 days and a slugging profile that aligns with his career baselines. While the contact issues suggest some volatility, his elite athleticism and guaranteed playing time suggest he is a prime candidate for positive regression as he settles back in after his June IL stint.
