Fantasy Football Injury Roundup and Players to Add: Trey Benson, Luke McCaffrey and More
Looking at players who got injured in week 3 and the possible replacements for them going forward.
The NFL injuries have been piling up in the first few weeks of the season, and week 3 saw several more guys go down.
Let's take a look at several big fantasy football injuries at running back and wide receiver and then highlight who to possibly add moving forward.

Running Back Injuries
Arizona's James Conner, LA Chargers' Najee Harris and New York Giants' Tyrone Tracy were among the running backs who got injured on Sunday.
Conner is likely done for the season after suffering an ankle injury in Sunday's loss to the Niners.
He had been serving as the team's lead back, so now it will be Trey Benson leading the way. Benson needs to be added in all fantasy leagues going into week 4.
Benson has averaged six yards per carry and 5.6 yards per reception through three weeks, so an expanded role could mean big-time fantasy value. With Conner no longer around, Benson could be a fantasy star the rest of the season.
Emari Demercado is likely to serve as RB2 for the Cardinals, so he could be worth adding in some deeper fantasy leagues. We'll see if Arizona is content with him as the second back. The backfield belongs to Benson now, so he's the one to add if you can.
Harris is likely done for the season after a non-contact Achilles injury. That means rookie Omarion Hampton has the Chargers' backfield to himself.
Hampton is already owned in all leagues, so to get him on your roster, a trade would be needed. It will cost a lot more now than it would have two days ago, but it's still a worthwhile investment if it doesn't gut your fantasy roster.
Hampton's fantasy value will rise with Harris out, and he'll be a much better fantasy option after finally getting rolling in week 3.
Hassan Haskins could be RB2 for the Chargers now, so he's a waiver option in really deep leagues. Hampton should dominate the backfield touches though, so he's the Charger back to roster right now.
Tracy suffered a shoulder injury, which allowed Cam Skattebo to shine. Skattebo needs to be added in all leagues, even if Tracy is good to play moving forward.
Skattebo has nearly caught Tracy in offensive snaps already, and he's been a more efficient back and better fantasy asset too. The backfield should belong to Skattebo moving forward, while Tracy, or someone else, holds the No. 2 role.
Devin Singletary has played about 15% of the team's offensive snaps, and would be the new No. 2 back if Tracy cannot play moving forward. Skattebo is the New York back you want on your roster now, and he could be a fantasy star moving forward.
Wide Receiver Injuries
Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb, Buccaneers' Mike Evans and Commanders' Terry McLaurin all got injured on Sunday.
Lamb has an ankle injury, but hopes to play in week 4, so it appears he avoided a big injury. UPDATE: Lamb will miss at least two weeks with a high ankle sprain.
If Lamb were to miss weeks 4 and 5, then running back Javonte Williams would be a bit better fantasy asset. Dak Prescott would take a hit.
Pass catchers Jake Ferguson, George Pickens and KaVontae Turpin would get boosts if Lamb missed the next couple games. Ferguson and Pickens are already standard league options, while Turpin would be a flex option in a pinch, but a better deep-league asset.
Evans tweaked his hamstring, and his status moving forward is unknown right now.
If he cannot go for the team's next game, expect Emeka Egbuka to be an ever better fantasy asset. Sterling Shepard would also be a decent deep-league option if the team has the same players available on offense.
There's a chance Chris Godwin returns, and if he's ready to play, that would allow the Bucs to play things safe with Evans. It'd be easier to start Godwin in week 4 if Evans were out, so this will be a major story as week 4 nears.
I'd expect backs Bucky Irving and Rachaad White to be more involved if Evans and Godwin are both out.
McLaurin injured his quad in the team's win over the Raiders. The team was up comfortably when he exited in the fourth, so it could have been more precautionary than anything. It will be an injury to monitor, as he's clearly the team's top wideout.
If McLaurin is out for the team's next game, expect Deebo Samuel Sr. to be a better fantasy asset. Luke McCaffrey would be an option too after a solid game in week 3. Tight end Zach Ertz would be a pretty good fantasy starting option too.
Things could be altered by the status of Jayden Daniels too, although Marcus Mariota looked like a capable starter on Sunday.
