Week 15 Fantasy Football Injury Report | Derek Carr, Kenneth Walker, Ladd McConkey, Trey McBride and More
These are all the key injuries you should be monitoring throughout the week.
Quarterbacks
Derek Carr, New Orleans Saints (Hand)
Carr has not been ruled out for Week 15, but did reportedly suffer a serious break in his non-throwing hand. It's hard to imagine he'll be out there with the team having nothing to play for. However, he does tend to fight through injuries. Either way, he's too risky to start this week even if he is active.
Drew Lock, New York Giants (Undisclosed)
Lock was reportedly seen in a walking boot, which would lead us to believe he's dealing with either an ankle or foot injury. The Giants have already announced that Tommy DeVito will get the start on Sunday.
Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers (Ankle/Leg)
Herbert didn't practice to start the week, but we are not ringing the alarms yet. We expect him to be fine for Week 15.
Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals (Knee/Wrist)
Burrow was seen getting a sleeve put on his knee during Monday Night Football, however, he did not look limited and should be fine for Week 15.
Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles (Finger)
Hurts practiced in full to start the week and is in no danger of missing any time.
Will Levis, Tennessee Titans (Shoulder)
Levis continues to be listed on the injury report, but is practicing if full to start the week.
Aidan O'Connell, Las Vegas Raiders (Knee)
O'Connell was air-casted and carted off on Sunday and it looked like his season was over. Now, the team is saying it was a bone bruise and isn't ruling him out for this week. As bad as he is, he's much better than Desmond Ridder and would be a huge upgrade for all the Raiders' pass catchers.
Running Backs
Kenneth Walker III, Seattle Seahawks (Calf)
After sitting out Week 14 with a calf injury, he started off this week with a DNP. Calves are tricky and he is in danger of missing another game. Zach Charbonnet would be in line for another heavy workload if he can't go.
Bucky Irving, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Back/Hip)
Irving re-aggravated his injuries last week and is now in danger of missing Week 15 after logging a DNP to start the week. Rachaad White would get a huge boost if Irving can't go.
Isaac Guerendo, San Francisco 49ers (Foot)
We already knew Guerendo was not going to practice this week, but would still have a shot to play on Thursday Night Football. He should be considered a true game-time decision. Patrick Taylor is the assumed next man up but start him with caution even if Guerendo is inactive.
Breece Hall, New York Jets (Knee)
Hall missed Week 14 and Isaiah Davis burst onto the scene with a big game, outperforming Braelon Allen. It doesn't sound like Hall is likely to play this week and the Jets could take the hot-hand approach with their backs again.
Tony Pollard, Tennessee Titans (Ankle)
Despite a DNP to start the week, unless something changes, we expect Pollard to be able to play in Week 15.
Alvin Kamara, New Orleans Saints (Illness)
Players generally play through illness, especially when it's listed early in the week. Unless it's worse than expected, he should be fine by Sunday.
Alexander Mattison, Las Vegas Raiders (Ankle)
Mattison looked like he was on track to play last week before being listed as inactive. We would expect him to return this week. Even with Zamir White placed on injured reserve, it looks like this backfield now belongs to Sincere McCormick. Still, this is a backfield to monitor. The only startable option is McCormick until we see different though. He is also risky, especially if Ridder is under center.
Raheem Mostert, Miami Dolphins (Hip)
Mostert has been battling a hip injury for weeks that finally held him out on Sunday. His status is up in the air for Week 15, but his fantasy relevance has faded.
Wide Receivers
George Pickens, Pittsburgh Steelers (Hamstring)
Pickens injured his hamstring in practice last Friday and was sidelined for Week 14. He appears to be a long shot for Week 15 as well, and if he does play is a high re-injury risk.
Mike Evans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Hamstring)
Evans continues to battle his forever injury but is expected to suit up for Week 15. The risk is simply baked in with him as is the upside.
CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys (Shoulder)
Lamb is going to start in Week 15, however, this shoulder injury is becoming a weekly issue in game, making him much more risky than he's ever been.
Ladd McConkey, Los Angeles Chargers (Shoulder/Knee)
McConkey was a bit of a surprise inactive on Sunday Night Football, which left a lot of fantasy managers scrambling. We'd expect him to return this week, but this situation will have to be monitored.
Malik Nabers, New York Giants (Hip)
Nabers ended up playing through his hip injury last week without limitations and we expect him to be out there again on Sunday.
Jaylen Waddle, Miami Dolphins (Hamstring)
Waddle is always banged up and is dealing with a hamstring injury. He doesn't appear to be in danger of missing Week 15.
Josh Downs, Indianapolis Colts (Shoulder)
Downs is expected to try to practice at some point this week and that's all we know as of now. He should be considered a long shot to play this week.
Cedric Tillman, Cleveland Browns (Concussion)
Tillman returned to practice on Wednesday after an extended absence due to a concussion. This is a great sign and he could return this week. His presence will muddy up the WR room in Cleveland though.
Rashod Bateman, Baltimore Ravens (Knee)
Following the team's bye week, Bateman has returned to practice and looks to be on track for Week 15.
Romeo Doubs, Green Bay Packers (Concussion)
Doubs is back practicing and is on track to clear the concussion protocol this week barring any setbacks.
Keon Coleman, Buffalo Bills (Wrist)
Coleman is again practicing this week and once again has a shot to finally return to action.
Tight Ends
Trey McBride, Arizona Cardinals (Knee)
McBride is listed with a knee injury but is fully expected to play this week after logging a limited practice to start the week.
David Njoku, Cleveland Browns (Hamstring)
Njoku is listed with a hamstring injury and was a DNP to start the week. We don't know much about the injury and will have to follow it throughout the week.
Evan Engram, Jacksonville Jaguars (Hamstring)
Engram was a DNP to start the week with a hamstring injury. While we wouldn't panic yet, this has been an issue for him in the past.
Dalton Kincaid, Buffalo Bills (Knee)
We tentatively expect Kincaid to return from his knee injury this week but will have to be monitored after practicing all last week and then being listed as inactive.
Tyler Higbee, Los Angeles Rams (Knee)
Higbee is once again not expected to make his season debut on Thursday Night Football. We may not see him at all this season.
Luke Musgrave, Green Bay Packers (Ankle)
The Packers have opened up Musgrave's 21-day practice window and activated him from the injured reserve.
