It's time to discuss some fantasy baseball waiver wire hitting options for Thursday, July 9.

Fantasy baseball waiver wire options can be found all season on FantasySP!
Luke Keaschall, Josh Bell, Ryan Jeffers and Kody Clemens - Minnesota Twins
We have four Twins to discuss today, starting with Keaschall. He's owned in 52% of fantasy baseball leagues right now - that's up from 47% on July 7.
He has a six-game hitting streak going in July. Keaschall has eight knocks in that span, including two homers and two doubles. He also has three RBIs, seven runs scored, three walks and just two strikeouts in that stretch.
Keaschall has underwhelmed this season, and sits with a .257 average and .345 on-base percentage over 87 games and 342 plate appearances overall. He has 76 hits, including 14 doubles, four homers and a triple, plus 27 RBIs, 47 runs scored, 12 stolen bases, 34 walks and 51 strikeouts.
He delivered more in his rookie season, but might be trending upward now. Keaschall is worth adding in deeper leagues, and maybe some standard leagues too as he's likely eligible in the outfield (right) along with second base. At least consider him.
Bell is sitting at 43% rostered. He was at 32% back on July 5, so he's been steadily rising since.
Bell has seven hits over a four-game hitting streak he has going now. He has two homers and a double among the hits, plus four RBIs and runs scored, two walks and four Ks in that span.
Bell has a .250 average and .309 OBP over 90 games and 359 plate appearances this season. He has 60 RBIs, 47 runs scored, a stolen base, 27 walks and 78 punchouts. Bell has 18 doubles, 13 homers and a triple among his 82 total knocks.
Bell mostly is the team's designated hitter, but should be eligible at first base. That's a loaded fantasy position, so his fantasy ownership is probably lower than it should be. If you need some help at first base, consider adding Bell, and that goes for deeper or standard leagues, even if it's just for a short stint.
Jeffers is up to 45% owned as he nears a return from an injury. He was below 40% of late.
He has not played in a big league game since May 18. Jeffers has looked good in his rehab appearances, and should return any day for Minnesota.
Over 37 games and 148 plate appearances, he had a .295 average and .408 OBP. Jeffers had seven doubles and home runs, plus a triple, across 36 total hits. He also has 26 RBIs and runs scored, a stolen base and 23 walks and strikeouts.
Jeffers is worth adding now, especially if you are weak at catcher. He was a good fantasy asset early in the season and will hopefully get back to his hot-hitting ways upon returning. Add him today before his own percentage rockets up after he's activated.
Clemens is sitting at 64% rostered right now. That's way up from 42% back on July 3.
He has five hits over his past two games, and 12 knocks over his past 12 contests. In that 12-game stretch, Clemens has three homers, two doubles, a triple, 10 RBIs, nine runs scored, two walks and eight strikeouts.
Clemens is hitting .255 and getting on base at a .316 clip in 79 games and 315 plate appearances so far. He has 73 total hits, including 18 doubles, 16 homers and three triples. Clemens has 45 RBIs, 44 runs scored, six stolen bases, 21 walks and 68 strikeouts.
The versatile defender can fill several fantasy positions, so that boosts Clemens' fantasy value. He's worth a roster spot and utilization in deeper leagues for sure, and standard league owners could benefit from utilizing him too. Just be ready to move off Clemens if he eventually cools off at the plate.
Joshua Kuroda-Grauer - Athletics
Kuroda-Grauer is owned in about 6% of leagues right now. He was at about 2% yesterday.
He made his MLB debut back on June 29. In eight games and 31 plate appearances since, Kuroda-Grauer has delivered big. He has 15 hits and has been hit by a pitch, so he has a .500 average and .516 OBP.
Kuroda-Grauer has three doubles, an RBI, four runs scored, no walks and two strikeouts. He has back-to-back three-hit games, and five multi-hit games in total.
He might not be providing much else, but he's worth adding in more deep leagues, at least until his bat cools off a bit. Kuroda-Grauer would need to start doing more than collecting hits to work into more leagues, and I don't see him working into standard leagues unless he's red hot for weeks in a row.
Heriberto Hernandez - Miami Marlins
Hernandez is owned in roughly 10% of fantasy leagues. He was at only 5% just three days ago.
He has been good since his final game in June, collecting nine hits over eight games since. Hernandez has four doubles and homers among the hits, plus six RBIs and runs scored, five walks and just four strikeouts.
Hernandez has appeared in 63 games this season, getting 212 plate appearances. He has a .238 average and .316 OBP, along with 35 RBIs, 23 runs scored, five stolen bases, 21 walks and 49 strikeouts. Hernandez has 12 homers, seven doubles and a triple among his 45 total hits.
Hernandez is just an outfielder, but he's done enough of late to add in some more deep fantasy leagues. Again, I don't see him working into standard leagues ever, but he could be a solid short-term pickup.
