Mickey Gasper - Boston Red Sox

Gasper is up 5.41% today, which brings his overall mark to 15.85%.

Gasper continues to turn heads, and has a hit in three straight games. He's homered in back-to-back games, walked twice and scored three runs in total.

He has a .279 average and .378 on-base percentage over his 47 games and 165 plate appearances this season. Gasper has eight doubles, seven homers and a triple among his 39 total hits, plus 20 walks, 21 RBIs, 20 runs scored and 24 strikeouts.

He's getting in the lineup daily in some fashion, getting starts at first base of late. Gasper has appeared as the team's catcher and designated hitter as well. The fact that he's playing daily is the best thing for his fantasy outlook.

He's worth more deep-league adds today, and is worth utilizing until his bat cools off some. Gasper could work into standard leagues if he keeps delivering daily, so keep tabs on him.

Jonah Cox - San Francisco Giants 

Cox is rostered in 7.1% of fantasy leagues right now - he's gone up 2.15% already today.

Cox has five hits over his past three contests. He has a homer and double among the hits, plus three RBIs and runs scored, two walks, three stolen bases and three strikeouts.

He sits with a .294 average and .333 OBP over 39 contests and 75 plate appearances this season. Cox has 20 hits, including four homers, two doubles and two triples, plus 10 RBIs, 13 runs scored, eight stolen bases, four walks and 33 punchouts.

He's mostly played the outfield, but also has a couple of appearances at second base. Cox is most importantly playing and producing daily.

Cox is worth adding in some more leagues, but is just a deep-league asset right now. If he keeps delivering, he could be worth standard league adds, but I'd think there are better options available to you. It's all about rostering/starting the best hitters right now though, and Cox could be trending toward that level.

Yohandy Morales - Washington Nationals

Morales has been added in 2.22% of leagues, which brings his overall mark to 3.87%.

Morales got called up when rosters expanded yesterday. His first game with the big league team was a special one, as he posted three hits, including a home run and a double. Morales drove in a run, scored twice and also struck out twice.

He was the team's designated hitter for that contest, and batted in the fifth slot in the lineup. It's worth tracking where he settles in down the stretch, but if he stays in that spot, he could be a really good fantasy asset. He's played first, second and third base in the minor leagues this season, so he should keep finding the field in some fashion if his bat stays hot.

Morales is already worth adding in more deeper leagues today. If he keeps hitting, he'd be worth more and more fantasy ownership. I'd be keeping close tabs on Morales, especially after how he looked in his first big league game. More production like that could get him into standard leagues in a hurry.

Spencer Jones - New York Yankees

Jones is currently owned in 37.7% of leagues. He's back on the rise after mostly being dropped of late.

He has a five-game hitting streak going, and has collected six hits over that stretch. Jones has two homers among the hits, plus five RBIs, six runs scored, a stolen base, two walks and three strikeouts in that stretch as well.

Jones started his first big league season very slowly, but has found a groove after his most recent callup. Over 66 games and 206 plate appearances this season overall, Jones has a .245 average and .320 OBP.

The outfielder has nine doubles, nine home runs and one triple among his 45 total hits. Jones has 28 RBIs, 27 runs scored, 20 walks, nine stolen bases and 72 strikeouts as well.

Jones is playing and producing daily right now, so he's worth more fantasy love. He's a pretty good deep-league asset, and he's doing enough to be considered in standard leagues too, even at a stacked position. Keep close tabs on his numbers and move off him if his numbers fade, but there's a lot to like with Jones and his play right now.
