Saturday's Top Starting Pitching Streamers for Fantasy Baseball Gold
Four starting pitchers with good matchups on Saturday who are widely available in fantasy leagues.
Though I only have four pitching streamers for you Saturday instead of the usual five, all four are good options. We have days where the streaming lines up because of weak opponents but the pitchers aren't as good. Today, we don't have quite the matchups everywhere, but the pitchers are better players, particularly with strikeouts.
Let's look at four starting pitchers in action on Saturday who have good matchups and are widely available in fantasy leagues. Most stats are from MLB.com, as are the probable starters. The full streamer rankings are listed at the bottom.

Spencer Arrighetti, Houston Astros @ Boston Red Sox
Arrighetti is an above-average strikeout pitcher who walks too many hitters, leaving a little concern to go with nice fantasy upside. He has generally done well limiting hits and homers, and though he gave up a few too many runs previously, he has done very well in three starts this season, totaling 18 innings, 10 hits, four runs, one homer, nine walks, and 21 strikeouts.
Boston ranks in the bottom 10 in most offensive box stats. Of the 10 stats I often look at to determine target teams, Boston is only outside the 10 worst in doubles and strikeouts, otherwise falling short. That goes a long way toward explaining why they are in last place in the AL East and fighting for the worst record in the American League.
Arrighetti is a mid-level streamer. He has a shorter track record (less than 200 career innings), but Arrighetti has been very good in 2026 and does high-level strikeout work, giving him a nice ceiling.
Sean Burke, Chicago White Sox @ San Diego Padres
The Padres have a good record (unlike most teams we target), but their offense hasn't been carrying the load. They are in the bottom 10 in many box stats, and though they aren't as lowly as some other teams we target, they mostly top out as middling in any area. San Diego doesn't strike out much, so they don't offer a great ceiling, but they are worth going after when the situation is right.
Burke is another pitcher with a little under 200 innings to his name, most of them coming last year. He has been average with strikeouts and just a hair worse than that with walks while sitting near the middle in hits and home runs allowed; Burke has been a very average pitcher in his short career. In 2026, he has been good with hits, homers, and walks, but his K rate is down a bit, though there's plenty of time for that to improve.
Burke is a low-to-mid-level streamer. He has been good, but San Diego isn't the top-line target that some of the others are, and Burke's strikeouts being down just a bit lowers his ceiling (along with the Padres not striking out a lot).
Reid Detmers, Los Angeles Angels vs. New York Mets
Detmers was listed here before his most previous start against the Royals, and he had an OK outing, giving up five hits and three runs in five innings while striking out five and walking one. He is an above-average K pitcher who walks just a few too many guys and does well limiting hitters.
That has all been true in 2026 other than a better-than-average walk rate that raises him another level; if this level keeps up, he will be owned in a lot more than one-third of fantasy leagues soon (his current mark).
The Mets have the fewest wins in the league and one of the worst run differentials, a product of a bad offense and a middling pitching staff. New York's pitchers don't falter in any area, but the offense is in or very close to the bottom five in most offensive box stats. They don't strikeout much, but the Mets falter in all other areas, leaving them as one of our best streaming targets right now.
Detmers is a mid-to-high-level streamer. We will keep expecting New York to improve given some of the names in their lineup, but injuries are hurting them (no pun intended) along with underperformance, leaving a nice floor for opposing pitchers.
Carmen Mlodzinski, Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Cincinnati Reds
Cincinnati keeps winning, sitting atop their division. They had only played three division games prior to Friday, and though that might not seem like a big deal, the NL Central has been the best division in baseball so far, so that might change their fortunes a bit. The Reds have mostly sustained on luck and the pitching staff, as their offense ranks in the bottom 10 in most areas other than walks and home runs.
Mlodzinski has mostly been a reliever in his career, only really joining the rotation regularly this season (he made 12 starts in 34 appearances last year). He is on the top side of average with both walks and strikeouts, and in 2026, he has followed that same profile while not giving up a home run in 28 1/3 innings. While he will give up some homers, he has been much better than average in that area throughout his career, so it wouldn't be a surprise to see continued success.
Mlodzinski is a mid-level streamer with some upside. Pittsburgh has built a strong pitching staff, and Mlodzinski fits right in. If he keeps up these numbers over a longer stretch, he will be a bigger name in the fantasy world soon.
