Fantasy Baseball Streaming Pitchers: Brady Singer and Joe Boyle Lead Friday's Best Options
Four pitchers with good matchups on Friday who are widely available in fantasy leagues.
We haven't had a streaming starting pitcher article the past two days because of a lack of options. On Wednesday, most teams were back to using their top starting pitcher, guys who aren't available in fantasy leagues. Yesterday, only three games took place after the Blue Jays/White Sox were postponed to today, leaving a lack of fantasy players in general.
We finally have a full slate today, though, with enough guys who are able to be picked up. Now, it's just a matter of deciding which players will have good days (good luck with that part; if you knew which lower- and mid-level guys were going to excel, you'd be in Vegas raking in the cash).
Let's look at four starting pitchers in action on Friday who have good matchups and are widely available in fantasy leagues. Most stats are from MLB.com, as are the probable pitchers. The full streamer rankings are listed at the bottom.

Joe Boyle, Tampa Bay Rays @ Minnesota Twins
Bailey Ober, Minnesota Twins vs. Tampa Bay Rays
We'll start today with a game in which we can target both teams, as they both finished last season as bottom-10 offensive units. They have each played a little better to start the season, though a small sample makes it hard to really judge any team or player. Both Tampa Bay and Minnesota have started the season 2-4.
Boyle is a moose, standing 6'8 and weighing 250 pounds. In his first start against St. Louis, he allowed two runs and three hits in the first inning but then was perfect in his final five innings, striking out four with no walks in the game. Boyle has generally been a good strikeout pitcher who walks way too many guys, so it was encouraging to see him not put any free runners on base.
Ober's first start was a bit opposite of Boyle's, as he gave up one hit and one walk with no runs in his first three innings. The fourth was where things got rough, as Baltimore got three hits and a three-run home run before the starter finished the inning, ending his day with one walk and one strikeout. Ober was an above-average strikeout pitcher in his first four seasons before falling to a below-average rate last year, so there's upside with definite risk that makes him just a streamer.
Boyle and Ober are both low-to-mid-level streamers today. Both have good strikeout work in the past, while Boyle has control concerns and Ober a year-plus of subpar work overall. There is a bit of upside to each.
Mitch Keller, Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Baltimore Orioles
Keller has been average or even a hair better in his career with both walks and strikeouts. His K rate was down just a bit last year, but he has been very good limiting walks in each of the past three seasons. In his first start against the Mets, Keller went six innings with three hits, no runs, three strikeouts, and no walks. He's a decent bet when the matchup is right.
The Orioles were maybe THE disappointment of the 2025 season, failing offensively as well as with their pitching staff. So far this year, Baltimore ranks a little above average in most areas, so we could be seeing a bounce back, but I'm still targeting them until we see more.
Keller is a low-to-mid-level streamer. His strikeout rate dropping a bit brings down his fantasy value, and Baltimore's performance makes the matchup more questionable than it was last year.
Brady Singer, Cincinnati Reds @ Texas Rangers
Texas has been successful on offense so far, averaging 5.3 runs over six games. They have played all their games on the road, which is important because the Rangers' home stadium played as a major pitcher's park last year and over the past three years. Poor offensive performances are more likely when Texas is playing at home, as they will be for the next six games.
Singer has been an average or better strikeout pitcher in every season aside from one (2023, when he had his worst season by most measures). He has generally been good with walks and allowed fewer than one hit per inning, making him a good streaming option against the right matchups. In his first start against Boston, Singer struck out five in four innings but also gave up five hits, three runs, and one homer with two walks.
Singer is a mid-level streamer. I'm willing to bet that the Rangers won't perform as well offensively at home, and though Singer struggled in his first start, that was against a good Red Sox team at Cincinnati's home park, which generally plays well for hitters.
