Monday's Fantasy Baseball Streaming Pitchers: Tre Yesavage, Jameson Taillon, and More
Five starting pitchers in action on Monday who are widely available in fantasy leagues and have good matchups.
It is Roberto Clemente Day in MLB today. He died on December 31, 1972, in a plane crash while trying to deliver supplies to earthquake victims in Nicaragua. The Pirates' Hall of Famer had exactly 3,000 hits in his illustrious career.
Clemente was still active in baseball at the time of his death. In his final season at 37 years old, Clemente batted .312 with 118 hits in just 102 games. He led the league in batting four times, was a 12-time All Star, won 12 gold gloves, and was the National League MVP in 1966.
Among the many great players who get lost to history, Clemente is one who MLB makes sure we remember both because of his on-field ability and his off-field contributions.
Moving to fantasy baseball, let's look at five starting pitchers in action on Monday who are widely available in fantasy leagues and have good matchups. Most stats are from MLB.com, as are the probable starters. The full streamers rankings are listed at the bottom.

Kyle Bradish, Baltimore Orioles @ Chicago White Sox
Sean Burke, Chicago White Sox vs. Baltimore Orioles
The White Sox are coming off a three-game sweep at the hands of the Guardians, scoring just three total runs in the three games. They had been playing well before that, but Chicago has bad numbers over the full season, so it's not a surprise to see them struggle again.
The Orioles have a very similar story: they were just swept by the Blue Jays while scoring seven total runs. Prior to that, they had won nine of 11. Baltimore has floated on and off the target list during the season, and they're currently on the fringe of that level. On a day with a short schedule, they will have to do.
Bradish has made just three starts in his return from Tommy John surgery, combining for 17 innings, 12 hits, five runs, four walks, and 21 strikeouts. That positive work matches what he was doing before the injury, giving hope that Bradish can step back in as a top-line starter that Baltimore was missing this season.
Burke is average with strikeouts while walking too many guys. He has been hit around a little bit, giving up a hit per inning and a home run every 5.8 innings, a mark worse than average. Burke has a 4.35 ERA this season, but that comes with 11 unearned runs also. If we included all runs allowed, Burke would have a 5.16 ERA. That's not exactly fair, but it does show that he has given up more runs than it might seem at first glance.
Bradish is a mid-level streamer and Burke a low-to-mid-level streamer. If he finishes the season on the same positive note, Bradish will be a hot name in fantasy next season. Burke has been good at times in his first full season and struggled at others, but he is good enough to be a worthy streamer.
Zack Littell, Cincinnati Reds @ St. Louis Cardinals
Littell is very good with walks but a little below average with strikeouts. He has been better with Ks at times, but that number has stayed lower in 2025; his strikeout rate of 17.2% would be lower than any other season of his career in which he made at least 10 appearances. He is right in the middle in terms of giving up hits and runs, though Littell is susceptible to home runs at times.
Over the past 30 days, the Cardinals are in the bottom 10 in essentially every offensive box stat: runs, hits, doubles, home runs, walks, strikeouts (most), batting average, on-base percentage, slugging percentage, and OPS. There haven't been many teams that have performed worse offensively over the past few months than St. Louis.
Littell is a low-to-mid-level streamer. The Cardinals are a great matchup recently but are just OK by full-season numbers, and Littell's strikeout work is down, bringing down his fantasy value just a bit.
Jameson Taillon, Chicago Cubs @ Pittsburgh Pirates
Taillon has missed a few stretches this season with injury, recently spending all of July and half of August on the IL then the end of August and beginning of September. He has been really good with walks and a little below average with strikeouts when on the field, matching his career rates. Taillon started against the Pirates back on June 12, throwing 6 1/3 innings with four hits, two runs, two walks, and seven strikeouts, picking up the win.
Pittsburgh matches St. Louis in that they are in the bottom 10 in most offensive categories over the last month. Unlike the Cardinals, though, the Pirates have also been bad all season, regularly on our target list for opposing pitchers. Pittsburgh batters rank in the top 10 in most batter strikeouts along with not hitting for any power.
Taillon is a low-to-mid-level streamer. He leans toward the higher side of that split, though the lower strikeout rate keeps him back just a little. The matchup is right for a good outing.
Tre Yesavage, Toronto Blue Jays @ Tampa Bay Rays
Yesavage was a first-round pick in 2024 and made short work of the minors, pitching just 98 innings with 160 strikeouts. Yesavage is a high-upside arm who could work out of the bullpen in the postseason, something fun to watch for the team with the best record in the American League.
The Rays are a slightly-below-average offensive team. They have been very close to average overall but a little worse in the second half of the season, leaving them as an OK target on a light day on the schedule. This is more about the pitcher in question than the team, which is a middling target.
Yesavage is a low-to-mid-level streamer but has upside. There's ace-level potential, but we can't expect him to be there right now. While there's plenty of risk to this play, it's a fun one late in the season.
