After already checking out some fantasy baseball waiver wire pitching options, let's now go over some waiver wire hitters.

We won't cover any hitters who were discussed in stories on Monday or Tuesday.

Check out the top fantasy baseball waiver wire options everyday on FantasySP.

Should You Add Javier Baez?

Baez is up 3.62% so far today and sits at 36.68% overall.

Baez had a three-hit game on Tuesday, and he homered twice among those knocks. He's collected 10 hits over his past six games and 25 plate appearances, with three homers and two doubles among those knocks. Baez also has five RBIs, seven runs scored and three walks and strikeouts over that span.

The veteran was rostered in more than 80% of leagues a month ago, but cooled off at the plate and was dropped in a ton of leagues. Baez was below 30% owned for a stretch, but is now back on the rise.

He has a .289 average and .324 on-base percentage across 62 games and 222 plate appearances this season. Baez has 61 total hits, including 12 doubles and nine homers. He also has 35 RBIs, a stolen base, 32 runs scored, eight walks and 49 strikeouts.

His up-and-down performance at the plate is annoying to fantasy owners, but he's already shown to be a good fantasy asset when in a groove, and everyone is hoping he's in a similar groove now.

He's played second and third base, shortstop and center field so far this season, so there's a chance Baez is eligible at a few different fantasy spots. That helps his fantasy outlook a bit.

Baez has started five games in a row for Detroit, and should be in the lineup until his bat cools off again. He's batted seventh or eighth in those contests, which is something working against him. He's proved to already be a good fantasy asset from low in the order, so you shouldn't have an issue adding him now.

I think it's best to roster him just in deeper leagues, but if this hot stretch lasts a week or two, he could work his way back into standard leagues. What the up-and-down play might be saying is that Baez should be held all season in deeper leagues, just stashed on the bench when his bat is cold.

Should You Add Jurickson Profar?

Profar is up 1.59% today - he's at 20.39% overall.

Profar is currently serving an 80-game suspension, but he began a rehab assignment on Tuesday. He can return on July 2, and I'd expect him to be activated that day with the Braves being desperate for any help they can get.

He played just four games and got 16 plate appearances before being suspended this season. Profar had three hits and a walk in those contests, along with two runs scored and three strikeouts.

Profar was coming off a monster 2024 season with the Padres. Across 158 games and 668 plate appearances, Profar had a .280 average, .380 OBP, 85 RBIs, 10 stolen bases, 94 runs scored, 76 walks and 101 strikeouts. Among his 158 hits, Profar had 29 doubles and 24 home runs.

That was a career season for Profar, and he obviously won't touch those numbers after missing half the season. He's still a really good fantasy option as he nears a return and could become a daily starter in all leagues again.

He's worth adding and stashing in some leagues. I'd start adding him in some deeper leagues now, that is, if your rosters are big enough to waste a roster spot for two weeks.

Some standard league owners might be tempted to add and stash Profar too. I wouldn't be totally against it, especially if your team is performing well and you can afford to burn a roster spot for a bit.

If you don't want to add Profar now, you might not be able to wait too long. He'll be added more and more with each passing day until he's activated, so assess your league setup and determine the best time to re-add Profar.

Should You Add Cam Smith?

Smith is rostered in 17% of fantasy leagues right now and is starting to trend up a bit.

He had a four-hit game on Tuesday and is on a five-game hitting streak, with nine total knocks over that span. Since June 5, Smith has a .350 average and .366 OBP across 41 plate appearances.

Smith has two homers and four doubles among his 14 total hits in that span. He also has nine RBIs, eight runs scored, a stolen base, a walk and nine strikeouts.

He's played in 59 games and gotten 220 plate appearances on the season. Smith has a .266 average and .336 OBP, along with 26 RBIs and runs scored, three stolen bases, 18 walks and 61 punchouts. He has 12 doubles, a triple and five home runs among his 53 total knocks.

Smith has started each of the team's past five games, batting sixth or seventh. It's not the best fantasy spot for him, but if he's getting hits, that's all that matters - he also can drive in some runs from that spot in the order.

I'm a bit surprised to see his own percentage at its current mark, because he has solid numbers overall this season. Smith is a better option in dynasty/keeper leagues, but is probably doing enough already to own in some more deeper redraft leagues too.

I'd be fine adding and utilizing Smith in more deeper leagues right now, and he's worth keeping an eye on in all leagues in case he takes off at some point this season.

Should You Add Andy Pages?

Pages is rostered in 85% of leagues right now, so he's only available to a few of you reading this.

He also had four hits in his last game and is currently on a four-game hitting streak. Pages has great season-long numbers and isn't just a short-term waiver add.

Across 70 games and 283 plate appearances, Pages has a .293 average and .332 OBP. He has 11 doubles, a triple and 15 homers among his 77 total knocks, along with 49 RBIs, 38 runs scored, six stolen bases, 13 walks and 50 strikeouts.

If he had a few more walks, he might already be rostered in 100% of leagues. Pages is probably underrated and overlooked right now though.

He starts just about every game and usually is hitting seventh. Any spot in the Dodgers' order can lead to fantasy greatness, and Pages has delivered all season.

Another thing holding him back is the amount of fantasy outfielders available for you to add. He's just outside the top-10 fantasy outfielders in points leagues right now, which means he should be starting in all standard leagues, not just be owned in those leagues.

Scoop up Pages and utilize him until the numbers tell you otherwise.

Should You Add Michael Toglia?

Toglia is up 1.58% and sits at 10.85% rostered.

He was a legit fantasy asset coming into the season,, but struggled and was eventually sent back down to the minor leagues. Toglia returned to the big leagues on Monday, and has collected four hits in his first two games back. Two of the hits were homers, and he has four RBIs, two runs scored and two punchouts as well.

His season-long numbers show why he's at 10% owned. Toglia had a .194 average and .266 OBP when he got called back up. He's at a .205 average and .273 OBP now.

He has nine doubles, a triple and eight home runs among his 40 total MLB hits this season. Toglia has 24 RBIs, 16 runs scored, two stolen bases, 18 walks and 83 strikeouts as well.

Toglia has been a major fantasy disappointment in 2025, but his power shouldn't be overlooked. He can be an asset in some deeper leagues, and those are the leagues he should be getting some waiver attention in.

I'd need to see some more consistent production to add him in all deeper leagues, but he's at least worth tracking in those leagues. He can be utilized in short-term stints when he's mashing at the plate.

First base is a loaded fantasy position, so he's not a high priority waiver add, but could be a decent secondary option, or utilized at an additional infield or utility spot when he's performing better at the plate.
