Looking at MLB pitching prospects who are putting up big numbers so far this season.
We looked at some of the top-performing MLB hitting prospects on Tuesday, and are now back to check in on some pitchers enjoying success.
We'll only mention guys age 25 and under, and break things into a couple different stats.

Lowest ERAs
Among minor league pitchers with at least 30 innings pitched this season, New York Yankees' Griffin Herring has the lowest earned run average at 0.60.
He's allowed three runs (two earned) on 17 hits and 10 walks, while striking out 39 batters over exactly 30 innings. Herring has made five starts at Single-A as a 22-year-old. He's the team's No. 25 prospect and has a 2027 ETA - he was just drafted in the sixth round of last year's draft, so he has some minor league seasoning to undergo yet, but he's at least off to a great start.
Milwaukee's Carlos Rodriguez has a 1.56 ERA across seven starts at Triple-A. The 23-year-old is 2-0 and has allowed eight runs (six earned) on 29 hits and 11 walks, while punching out 38 batters.
He's the team's No. 22 prospect and made his MLB debut in 2024. Rodriguez had a 7.30 ERA across 12 1/3 MLB innings, but clearly has shown all he needs to at Triple-A. It's only a matter of time before he gets another shot at the big league level.
Atlanta's JR Ritchie has a 1.65 ERA across 32 2/3 innings at High-A. The 22-year-old has allowed seven runs (six earned) on 22 hits and nine walks, while striking out 29 batters.
Ritchie is the team's No. 7 prospect, and has a 2027 ETA after being the 35th overall pick in the 2022 MLB Draft. Injuries have slowed his ascent through the minor leagues, but strong pitching could make him a quick riser moving forward.
Milwaukee's Jacob Misiorowski has a 1.77 ERA across 35 2/3 Triple-A innings. The 23-year-old has allowed seven runs on 19 hits and 17 walks, while striking out a whopping 43 batters.
Walks are still an issue, but it's only a matter of time before Misiorowski gets a crack at the big leagues. He's the team's No. 4 prospect, and is ranked 94th overall in all of baseball.
Athletics' Kyle Robinson has a 3-2 record and 1.78 ERA across 30 1/3 innings at High-A. He's allowed eight runs (six earned) on 27 hits and six walks, while striking out just 18 batters.
Robinson is not among the team's top-30 prospects. He could eventually be ranked if he keeps pitching as well as he has to start the season.
Toronto's Grant Rogers has a 1.80 ERA over six starts and 30 innings at High-A. He's 2-0 and has allowed eight runs (six earned) on 24 hits and 12 walks, while punching out 29 batters.
He's not a top-30 prospect of the Blue Jays, but again, he could get there with more strong pitching.
Lowest WHIPs
Again using the 30-inning threshold, there's a couple players with WHIPs under one.
Kansas City's Drew Beam is one of them, sporting a 0.89 WHIP across 31 1/3 innings at High-A. He's allowed 13 runs (nine earned) on 21 hits and seven walks, while striking out 28 batters.
Beam is the team's No. 14 prospect and has a 2027 ETA after being drafted 76th overall in last summer's draft. As a 22-year-old, he could rise a bit quicker through the minor leagues, especially if he keeps pitching this well.
Herring (0.90) and Ritchie (0.95) make the leaderboard for a second straight stat. New York Yankees' Bryce Cunningham (0.97) and Washington's Jackson Kent (0.99) are the other pitchers under the age of 25 with sub-1.00 WHIPs.
Cunningham has worked 30 innings at High-A. He's allowed nine runs (seven earned) on 23 hits and six walks, while striking out 34 batters. Cunningham is the No. 4 prospect for the Yanks after being drafted 53rd overall last summer. He could be a quick riser as a 22-year-old - he currently has a 2027 ETA.
Kent has tossed 32 1/3 innings at High-A. He's allowed 14 runs (13 earned) on 25 hits and seven walks, while striking out 41 batters. Kent is the Nats' No. 20 prospect and has a 2027 ETA after being taken 108th last year. The 22-year-old could be another quick riser.
Most Strikeouts
Los Angeles Dodgers' Sean Linan has a minor league-high 50 strikeouts so far this season. What's crazy is that he's just 20 years old, and has pitched only 29 2/3 innings in Single-A.
Linan has allowed four runs on 15 hits and 10 walks across the 113 batters he's faced. He's not a top-30 prospect for New York, but that will likely change in due time if his big strikeout totals keep up.
Toronto's Juaron Watts-Brown has 44 strikeouts over just 26 1/3 innings at High-A. The 23-year-old has allowed 14 runs on 28 hits and 10 walks, and he's 0-2 with a 4.78 ERA despite all the strikeouts.
Watts-Brown has a 2026 ETA after being selected in the third round of the 2023 MLB Draft. He's the team's No. 16 prospect.
Misiorowski and LA Dodgers' Aidan Foeller have 43 strikeouts each. Foeller is 1-1 with a 3.33 ERA across 24 1/3 innings at Single-A. He's allowed 13 runs (nine earned) on 20 hits and 20 walks.
Foeller is not ranked among the team's top-30 prospects at this point.
Philadelphia's Mick Abel is up to 42 strikeouts over 39 1/3 Triple-A innings. The 23-year-old is 4-2 with a 2.75 ERA, allowing 13 runs (12 earned) on 34 hits and 17 walks.
The 2020 first-round pick still has not made his MLB debut, but is likely to get a chance at some point in 2025. He's the team's No. 8 prospect, and has pitched much better thus far compared to 2024.
