It's been a little while since we've taken a look at the top minor league performers.

In this article, we'll look at some of the top hitters in several stats. We'll only include players age 25 or below, with the emphasis being dynasty/keeper leagues.

Explore the best in-season tool to manage lineup/start decisions including waiver pickups, projections, trade suggestions, trade value charts, rest of season rankings, power rankings, and tons more with Fantasy Assistant.

Top Averages

Among hitters with at least 30 plate appearances this minor league season, Pittsburgh's Maikol Escotto leads the way with a .438 average.

Escotto is not part of the team's top-30 prospects, but could work his way on that list with more production at the plate. He has seven doubles and two homers among his 28 total knocks, along with 18 runs scored, nine RBIs, three walks, 11 stolen bases and 13 strikeouts across 18 games and 68 plate appearances.

Washington's Phillip Glasser is hitting .412 at Double-A. He's got five doubles and a homer among his 28 total knocks. Glasser has added 13 runs scored, six RBIs, four walks and strikeouts and two stolen bases.

Glasser is also not on the team's top-30 prospect list. He's close enough to the major leagues where he could eventually get a call up, especially if he keeps hitting this well.

Kansas City's Asbel Gonzalez has a .404 average across 25 games and 116 plate appearances in A-ball. He has a double and triple among his 38 total knocks, along with 26 runs scored, seven RBIs, 14 walks, 10 strikeouts and a whopping 31 stolen bases. Gonzalez has also been hit by seven pitches already.

Gonzalez is the team's No. 23 prospect, and has a 2028 ETA. He's just 19 years old and was signed in 2023. Gonzalez was also good in 2024, so the Royals might have something to monitor in the young outfielder.

Milwaukee's Marco Dinges has a .400 average at A-ball. Across 15 games and 65 plate appearances, Dinges has 20 hits, including six doubles and a triple and double. He's also posted 17 RBIs, 10 runs scored and walks, a stolen base and has struck out just six times.

Dinges isn't on the team's top-30 prospect list, but more solid production at the plate could help him not only make the list, but move up the minor league system.

Top OBPs

Still using the 30 plate appearance threshold, Houston's Max Holy has a .529 OBP. He's 22 years old and is playing in Single-A for now. Holy is not on the team's top-30 prospect list.

Holy has 51 plate appearances across 12 games, collecting 13 hits (including two doubles and triples) and also walking 13 times. He has eight RBIs, 14 runs scored, eight stolen bases and 14 strikeouts.

Arizona's Slade Caldwell is getting on base at a .524 clip over 106 plate appearances at A-ball. He's just 18 years old and is the team's No. 3 prospect

In his first taste of the minor leagues, Caldwell has eight doubles, two homers and a triple among his 24 total knocks, along with 25 walks. He's got 10 RBIs, five stolen bases, 20 runs scored and 31 strikeouts.

Being a top prospect, he could be a quick riser through the minor leagues if he keeps delivering at the plate. He's already a good dynasty/keeper option and could move up his 2028 ETA with more outstanding results at the plate.

Detroit's David Smith, Miami's Connor Caskenette and Andrew Salas and Chicago White Sox' Cole McConnell all have .500 OBPs this season.

Smith isn't a top-30 prospect for the Tigers. Across 30 plate appearances at A-ball, the 24-year-old has eight singles and seven walks. He also has three RBIs, five runs scored, four stolen bases and five strikeouts.

Caskenette is not a top-30 prospect for the Marlins, while Salas is the team's No. 5 prospect. Caskenette is 22 years old, while Salas is only 17.

Caskenette is in High-A, and has nine hits (including two doubles) and 10 walks over 40 plate appearances. He also has five RBIs, two runs scored and 10 strikeouts.

Salas is in Single-A, and has played 18 games and gotten 78 plate appearances. He has 21 total hits, including a double and triple, along with 18 walks. Salas also has five RBIs, 13 runs scored, nine stolen bases and 13 strikeouts.

Salas has an ETA of 2030, but if he keeps producing at the plate, that date could definitely be moved up a bit.

McConnell is not a top-30 prospect for Chicago. In High-A, he's played 17 games and gotten 65 plate appearances. McConnell has 18 hits, including three doubles, along with 11 walks. He also has eight RBIs, 14 runs scored, four stolen bases and 17 strikeouts.

Most Homers/RBIs

Philly's Otto Kemp is tied for the minor league lead with 10 homers. LA Dodgers' Jose Ramos has nine dingers, as does Chicago White Sox' Jeral Perez and New York Yankees' Spencer Jones.

Kemp leads the minor leagues with 35 RBIs. Boston's Marcelo Mayer has 34 RBIs, while Cincinnati's Rece Hinds has 31. Arizona's Jordan Lawlar has 30 RBIs.

Kemp has played in 32 games and gotten 150 plate appearances at Triple-A. He's got 14 doubles and a triple to go along with his 10 homers and 44 total knocks. Kemp has 14 walks, five stolen bases, has been hit by seven pitches and has struck out 37 times.

Kemp has a 2025 ETA and is the team's No. 24 prospect. The primary infielder is likely to get a call up at some point this season, but could need a change of scenery or an injury to make that happen.

Ramos has 27 total knocks, with three doubles to go along with the nine homers. He also has 22 runs scored, 21 RBIs, 11 walks and 26 strikeouts. Ramos is not a top-30 prospect for the Dodgers, but being in Double-A already, could maybe get called up if he keeps raking.

Perez has 24 total knocks, with five doubles and a triple to go along with his nine homers. He also has 19 runs scored, 23 RBIs, 13 walks, two stolen bases and 31 strikeouts.

Perez is the team's No. 19 prospect and has a 2027 ETA. The middle infielder is just 20 years old and is in High-A. He could move quickly through the minor leagues if he keeps producing at the plate.

Jones has three doubles to go along with his nine homers - he has 21 total knocks this season. Jones also has posted 20 runs scored, 16 RBIs, 20 walks, six stolen bases and 41 strikeouts.

He's the Yankees' No. 2 prospect and has a 2025 ETA despite still being in Double-A. He too might need an injury or a change in scenery to make the big leagues this season, because Jones appears close to being ready for a crack at the MLB.

Mayer has 30 total hits this season, including four doubles and seven homers. He also has 18 runs scored, nine walks, a stolen base and 26 strikeouts at Triple-A across 28 games and 124 plate appearances.

Mayer is a highly-regarded prospect, and is the Red Sox' No. 3 prospect. He has a 2025 ETA, and the shortstop appears ready for a callup at any point now.

Hinds made his MLB debut in 2024, getting 51 plate appearances over 24 games. He hit .261 and got on base at a .333 clip.

In 32 Triple-A games and 134 plate appearances so far, Hinds has 32 hits, including six doubles, seven homers and a triple. He also has 25 runs scored, 11 walks, 12 stolen bases and 40 strikeouts.

The 24-year-old outfielder should get another crack at the big leagues again in 2025. If the Reds don't give him a chance, another team will trade for him to afford him that opportunity.

Lawlar seems to appear in every prospect story - he's just been that good this season. Across 31 games and 146 plate appearances in Triple-A, Lawlar has 45 total hits, including 14 doubles, six homers and two triples. He also has 35 runs scored, 17 walks, 12 stolen bases and 31 strikeouts.

Lawlar has been trending up as a fantasy asset, despite not playing in the big leagues yet this season. There's no room for him on the current Arizona roster, but if he keeps delivering, the team is going to need to make room for him. Watch his status and give him an add when he gets called up.
