Fantasy Football Tight End Rankings for Week 15: Tyler Warren, Harold Fannin, Brenton Strange and More
Morgan gives his week 15 fantasy football rankings for tight ends.
Week 15 of the NFL regular season is nearly here, so it's time to start putting together positional rankings. We'll start with the tight end spot this week.
Check back later for rankings for quarterbacks, running backs and wide receivers. These will all be with PPR scoring in mind.
Check out week 15 fantasy football projections for tight ends on FantasySP as well.
Kittle gets the top spot for week 15. He's been great since returning from his injury, and he most importantly doesn't have a tougher test, so he gets the No. 1 spot.
A matchup against Tennessee is a slightly above-average matchup, so I see Kittle delivering the top fantasy score with the roll he's been on.
2. Trey McBride
McBride cooled off a bit last week, but still was in double digits as a PPR asset.
Houston is a very tough matchup for him in week 15. He gets ranked second because of his pedigree, but McBride might really struggle this week. I'm still starting him no matter what, but it could be tough sledding for the Arizona TE.
3. Brock Bowers
Bowers would have been in single digits as a PPR asset if not for scoring a touchdown in week 14.
Philadelphia is an even tougher matchup than Houston is, so he slots in third overall this week. We'll see if either elite fantasy TE can defy the odds this week.
4. Tyler Warren
I see Warren ranked pretty low for many fantasy experts this week, but in a super favorable matchup against Seattle, I see the Colts' tight end going off.
I'm not worried about Daniel Jones being out, and think Warren could end up being the team's top fantasy asset the rest of the season.
Fannin starred in week 14, so he gets a top-five spot for week 15.
Chicago is an above-average matchup for tight ends, so fire up Fannin in all league types this week.
Kincaid returned and immediately scored in week 14. He had over 14 PPR points.
The Patriots are his week 15 matchup. The last time the teams met, Kincaid went for 108 yards on six receptions and targets, so I might have underranked him.
Ferguson has five catches and between 36-60 yards the past three games, which is solid fantasy production. A touchdown in any of those games would have really helped though.
He has a just below-average test this week against Minnesota, but I see Ferguson delivering a top-10 fantasy score by the end of the week.
8. Travis Kelce
Kelce barely did anything in week 14, but I have him in my top 10 still - that's the state of the tight end position I guess.
The Chargers are a very tough test for him. Kelce had 47 yards and a score the last time the teams met, but on just two catches and four targets.
Goedert got going a bit in week 14, so we'll see if he can keep trending up in week 15.
Las Vegas is a tough matchup on paper, but I'm going to ride the wave and say he finishes in the top 10 still.
10. Hunter Henry
Henry has been a good/great fantasy asset over his past two games.
A tougher test against the Bills awaits. Henry had 46 yards, but on just two grabs and four targets back in week 5.
11. Mark Andrews
Andrews was bottled up in week 14, and hasn't been in double digits as a PPR asset in the past three weeks.
He still checks in at No. 11, with the league's best fantasy TE matchup against the Bengals being a major reason why. Andrews had 47 yards on four receptions and six targets just two weeks ago against Cincy.
12. Theo Johnson
Johnson has been up and down over his past three games, but I see a favorable showing for him in week 15.
The Commanders are a top-five fantasy test for tight ends, so I see Johnson factoring in enough for a top-12 finish - he'd crack the top 10 probably with a score.
13. Juwan Johnson
Johnson is ranked 13th for week 15, which might end up being far too low.
Carolina is an above-average matchup for the Saints' tight end, and Johnson produced 92 yards and a touchdown on just four receptions and targets the last time the teams met. We'll see if he can replicate that standout performance.
14. T.J. Hockenson
Hockenson has back-to-back solid fantasy outings, but a touchdown bailed out an otherwise down showing last week.
Dallas is his matchup, and the Cowboys are an average matchup on paper, so this feels like the perfect ranking for Hock.
15. Kyle Pitts Sr.
Pitts has back-to-back strong outings, but is now dealing with a knee injury.
A Thursday matchup against the Buccaneers is slightly below average on paper. Pitts had 59 yards on seven catches and eight targets against them way back in week 1. If he plays, he's definitely capable of finishing higher, but the injury concern has him down at No. 15.
16. Isaiah Likely
Likely has a couple good fantasy showings in a row, and if not for a fumble and a “dropped pass” he'd have scored even more points the past two weeks.
That great matchup against the Bengals means he and Andrews could both shine in week 15. Likely had 95 yards on five receptions and six targets in week 13 against Cincy.
17. Dalton Schultz
Schultz was slowed in week 14, but he still was pretty involved offensively.
An above-average matchup against the Cardinals is a reason to believe in Schultz in week 15. I like him better in deeper leagues, but he could surprise and be a top-10 finisher.
18. Brenton Strange
Strange slowed a bit in week 14, but again, he was pretty involved for his offense.
The Jets are a below-average matchup for him, so that's why he dips to No. 18 for me this week.
19. Oronde Gadsden
Gadsden's fantasy value has dried up over the past several weeks.
A very tough matchup against the Chiefs is another reason to skip the rookie TE this week.
20. Mason Taylor
Taylor had a pretty solid outing in week 14, so we'll see if he can build on that in week 15.
Jacksonville is a super favorable fantasy matchup, so Taylor could really surprise this week, especially if he can find the end zone. I just don't trust the Jets' offense to rank him any higher.
21. Darren Waller
Waller was bottled up pretty good in week 14, but I'm keeping him in my weekly rankings.
A pretty favorable test against the Steelers is enough reason to believe in a bounceback outing from Waller. We'll see if he can take advantage of the matchup.
22. AJ Barner
Barner has been underwhelming as a fantasy asset three weeks in a row now.
Indianapolis is another good fantasy matchup, and with Elijah Arroyo maybe out too, Barner could deliver another big fantasy showing in week 15.
23. Colby Parkinson
Parkinson has been one of the better fantasy tight ends of late, but four touchdowns over the past five games is really what is powering him as a fantasy asset.
He has a below-average test against the Lions, or else Parkinson would have ranked several spots higher.
24. Colston Loveland
Loveland has been underwhelming as a fantasy asset of late, but he has scored in two of the past three contests.
He ranks lower this week because of a tougher test against the Browns.
25. Gunnar Helm
Helm took a step back in week 14, but I see him bouncing back in week 15.
He has a pretty nice matchup against the Niners, so it's a chance for the rookie to surprise.
