We just went over some fantasy football waiver wire options at quarterback for week 14, and now are going to check out some targets at the tight end position.

Should You Add Zach Ertz?

Ertz is fantasy TE3 going into the week 13 Monday night game.

He had 106 yards on 10 catches and 13 targets despite the Commanders losing to the Broncos. Washington threw 50 times in the game, and Ertz was the recipient of many of those passes.

Ertz has been a solid, but unspectacular, fantasy asset most of the season. He has at least eight PPR points in four straight games now, but has just five double-digit outings for the season.

He's a better deep-league asset, but is a standard league streaming option in the right matchups, especially after these kinds of showings.

Ertz has a slightly above-average test coming against the Vikings in week 14, so he will be an average-or-better option for the week. He delivered with Marcus Mariota in week 13, so it might actually be better for his fantasy outlook if Mariota starts over Jayden Daniels.

On a week where four NFL teams have byes, Ertz will be a standard league streaming option again.

Should You Add Evan Engram?

Engram was also good on Sunday night, going for 79 yards on six receptions and nine targets.

That was just his second double-digit PPR performance of the season, and the other took a touchdown to get there. Engram has otherwise been an uninspiring fantasy asset most weeks.

The Denver offense has enough playmakers where Engram doesn't need to be involved most weeks. There's also room for him to regularly contribute, but it hasn't happened most of the season.

Even after his big fantasy performance, I don't love the idea of adding him. He can be scooped up in some deeper leagues, but I'd avoid him in standard setups.

Engram will have a tougher challenge against the Raiders in week 14, so that's another reason why I'd hold off on adding him now. He had 12 yards on two catches and five targets in the team's first meeting this season.

If he delivers again in week 14, maybe Engram could be a fantasy asset down the stretch, but I think week 13 was just an outlier for an otherwise below-average fantasy tight end.

Should You Add Brenton Strange?

Strange finished with just three catches, but they went for 45 yards and a touchdown, so he had a nice fantasy showing. Strange had four total targets.

Strange had 93 yards on five receptions and targets in his first game back on the field in week 12. He was a pretty good fantasy asset early in the season too, so he's picked up where he left off.

I'm surprised he wasn't added in more leagues after his showing in week 12, but that means more of you can add him now going into week 14. He's one of my favorite fantasy tight end waiver wire pickups for the week, and is someone who could be a top-10 option the rest of the way.

Indianapolis is his week 14 matchup, and that's a favorable one for a fantasy tight end. The Colts are a top-five fantasy matchup, so Strange not only has the chance to deliver, but to shine in week 14.

I'd make him my top fantasy TE waiver wire target going into week 14.

Should You Add Dalton Schultz?

Schultz finished with 55 yards on seven catches and eight targets in week 13.

It was a nice bounceback effort for Schultz, who only scored 1.8 PPR points in week 12. He was in double figures the three weeks before that, so week 12 can be chalked up to a tougher matchup, not anything to worry about with Schultz.

Unfortunately, Schultz has a tough test in week 14 against the Chiefs. KC is just outside the top-five toughest challenges actually.

Schultz has delivered in some tougher tests this season, but he'll be ranked lower for me, and started in less leagues overall because of that matchup.

I still like the idea of utilizing him in all deeper leagues, and he's a solid standard league starting option yet, especially because four teams are on byes this week. We'll see if Schultz can overcome the tougher challenge

Should You Add Isaiah Likely?

The Ravens' tight ends had the best fantasy matchup in week 13. It was Likely who took advantage of things, tallying 95 yards on five receptions and six targets. He lost a costly fumble that took points off the board for Baltimore.

Likely hasn't done a ton this season, but he has three or more targets in five straight games now. Mark Andrews hasn't consistently delivered all season, and the Ravens' offense needs some pass catchers to step up, so Likely has a chance to be part of the solution down the stretch.

He has a very favorable matchup coming in week 14 against the Steelers. They are just outside being a top-five matchup for a tight end.

Likely will earn some deep-league starts as a result of his performance last week, and he could even get some flex-level consideration in standard leagues because four teams are on byes.

Don't put all your eggs in the Likely basket, but he could be a good option down the stretch, especially with more favorable matchups to go.

Should You Add Dalton Kincaid?

Kincaid was inactive again in week 13, so his own percentage continues to fall.

He's going to be widely available whenever he gets cleared to play, and I think he has a good chance of returning in week 14 against the Bengals.

Cincinnati is the best fantasy matchup a tight end could have, so Kincaid could not only return and deliver, but he could end up leading the position in week 14.

He is worth adding in deeper leagues if he's available, and if he's trending toward playing, then picking him up in a standard league is a good idea too. If he's playing in week 14, he needs to be starting in all leagues.

I know he will be a risky starting option after not playing in a few weeks, but you just have to start him in that super favorable matchup.

Should You Add Mason Taylor?

Taylor only had 21 receiving yards on two receptions and four targets in week 13.

So why am I highlighting him in this article? His week 14 matchup.

Miami is the third-best fantasy matchup a tight end could have, so Taylor could be a sneaky good fantasy asset in week 14.

Taylor delivered against the Dolphins earlier this season, going for 65 yards on five receptions and seven targets. I could see a similar outing from him in week 14, especially with how Tyrod Taylor looked this past week.

If you are in need of a streaming option in a deeper league, or even some standard leagues, don't forget about Taylor. He could really surprise in week 14.

Should You Add T.J. Hockenson?

Hockenson had one of his better showings of the year in week 13. He caught all six of his targets for 59 yards.

It was just the third time he's gotten in double figures as a PPR asset in 2025. It came in a game the Vikings were throttled, and Max Brosmer was awful as the starting quarterback.

J.J. McCarthy could return in week 14, which would likely be a boost for Hockenson's fantasy value. A super favorable test against the Commanders is why Hockenson gets mentioned in this article though.

Washington is the fourth-best fantasy matchup a tight end could have, so Hockenson will be a good deep-league option, plus a standard league streaming option for week 14.
