Veteran Handcuff Tyrod Taylor Offers Elite Superflex Insurance in Green Bay

Tyrod Taylor enters the season as the primary backup to Jordan Love in Green Bay after signing a deal in early May. The veteran signal-caller brings years of starting experience to the Packers, providing high-value insurance but holding zero standalone value. Unless Love suffers an injury, Taylor will remain firmly on the sidelines.

In fantasy drafts, Taylor's ADP has stabilized in the high 370s after some minor fluctuations over the past month. Roster ownership remains low at around seven percent, reflecting his role as a pure backup. For standard redraft leagues, he is not a draftable asset, but he remains a high-end handcuff in superflex formats.

Our projections peg Taylor for just 10.6 fantasy points, assuming very limited relief action. However, his past starting experience shows he can offer decent streaming utility and rushing upside if thrust into action. He should be left on waiver wires outside of deep two-quarterback leagues.
