Week 7 of the NFL regular season had another doubleheader. The Detroit Lions toppled the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in one contest, while the Seattle Seahawks got by the Houston Texans in the other.

Let's go over some fantasy football takeaways from the two contests, just like we did on Sunday (offense and defense) and Thursday.

Charbonnet Steals Walker's Work… Again

Kenneth Walker is the top running back for the Seahawks, but Zach Charbonnet continues to steal valuable fantasy production. On Monday, Charbonnet looked like the top back.

Walker rushed 17 times for 66 yards, so he had a pretty solid night. However, Charbonnet scored twice and had 49 yards on 12 carries, so he outproduced Walker alone on his rushing attempts - Charbonnet added six yards on two catches and targets to widen the fantasy gap even more.

Walker ended up playing 32 offensive snaps, which was 44% of the team's total. Charbonnet ended up playing 37 snaps, which is 51% of the team's total.

It's getting harder and harder to justify starting Walker in a standard league - luckily, you don't have to worry about things next week, as Seattle is on its bye. That makes it a good time to sell Walker, because things likely aren't going to improve.

Not only does Charbonnet continue to steal work, but the Seattle backs have the toughest remaining schedule of any backs in the league. I'd try to sell Walker, and Charbonnet for that matter, before week 9, when the Seahawks play again.

Most fantasy owners know the situation the two backs are in, so the return for each back won't be great, but maybe you can find some backs in better situations for the remainder of the season. I'd definitely look into moving both backs in standard leagues, as rostering either of these two and needing them to deliver week after week isn't a great recipe for a fantasy title.

Usual Suspects Lead Lions

Detroit had 379 total yards of offense, and it's no surprise that Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jahmyr Gibbs led the charge.

Gibbs rushed for 136 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries. He added 82 receiving yards on three receptions and targets. That production helped him to one of the top scores of the week in PPR leagues.

St. Brown was targeted 10 times, catching six of them for 86 yards and a touchdown. That's actually probably just a so-so game for ARSB, but it shows you just how good of a fantasy asset he is.

You never have to worry about Gibbs or St. Brown. Lock them into your starting lineups, regardless of the defensive matchup.

Quarterback Jared Goff was 20-of-29 passing for 241 yards, a touchdown and an interception. He rushed for seven yards on two carries.

I was a bit surprised he didn't fare any better, but I'm not worried about him going forward. If this is a down week, most fantasy owners are going to take the end result.

David Montgomery got 15 touches, but was bottled up all night. He rushed 13 times for 21 yards, while adding 18 receiving yards on two catches and three targets.

He's struggled in three of the past four weeks, so his fantasy outlook will take a notable hit going forward. We'll see if he can get back on track after the team's bye in week 8. If you are worried about Montgomery, now is a time to sell, although you'd be selling him low.

Sam LaPorta and Jameson Williams both had down showings as well.

LaPorta caught all three of his targets, but for just 15 yards. Williams was held without a catch on two targets. As a result, their fantasy values will take big hits.

The inconsistent showings from these two all season is starting to annoy fantasy owners. They are still good weekly starting options, especially LaPorta at tight end, but these down showings can cost fantasy owners wins.

You could look to sell both players before the team's next game, but again, it'd be selling low, and I'm not sure you'll be able to get players with higher fantasy ceilings in return. I'd definitely throw their names on the trade block and see what kinds of offers trickled in.

Other Seahawk Performances

Jaxon Smith-Njigba delivered again for the Seahawks, catching eight of his 14 targets for 123 yards. He's been stellar all season, and is another no-brainer starting option every week, regardless of the defensive matchup.

Quarterback Sam Darnold was 17-of-31 passing for 213 yards, a touchdown and an interception. He added a yard on three carries.

It was a down fantasy showing, but it was somewhat expected in a tougher matchup. I still like Darnold as a fantasy asset going forward. The matchups won't really improve going forward, so that might hold him back from more fantasy ownership and starts.

Nobody else did much for the Seahawks.

Elijah Arroyo had 42 yards on four catches and five targets. AJ Barner was held to a seven-yard catch and two-yard run. Cooper Kupp had a 32-yard catch on his lone target, and Tory Horton failed to bring in any of his three targets.

JSN is going to dominate things for Seattle, but there's definitely room for others to step up. Nobody is a good standard league option outside Smith-Njigba though. Barner, Kupp, Arroyo and Horton could all be standard league starting options in better matchups, but are likely going to be stuck in deeper leagues most of the season looking at the team's tough schedule ahead.

Top Tampa Bay Performers

It was a rough night for the Tampa Bay offense, as it only mustered 251 yards. They also lost Mike Evans - which is something I'll cover in detail in a story to come.

Tez Johnson was the team's top fantasy player, catching four of his nine targets for 58 yards and a score. He'll be a waiver wire add going into next week after the Evans' injury news

Cade Otton had 65 yards on seven receptions and nine targets. He'll be another good waiver option leading into week 8. He could be the second-best fantasy pass catcher the rest of the way.

The top guy will continue to be Emeka Egbuka, who was held to 58 yards on four catches and 12 targets. I wouldn't worry too much about his performance in this one - better days are ahead, especially if Chris Godwin can get back on the field and take some attention off the star rookie.

Rachaad White was held to 38 rushing yards on 10 carries and caught four of his six targets for six yards. He'll continue to dominate the backfield until Bucky Irving is healthy enough to play again.

Sterling Shepard is a wideout to keep in mind for deeper leagues in case Godwin is out a while yet. He caught all seven of his targets for 25 yards. Those could be big fantasy points in a PPR league.

Leading Texans

Dalton Schultz had a big game to lead Houston, catching nine of his 10 targets for 98 yards. He's been trending up of late, and will be a big waiver add before week 8 now - Schultz could be the team's No. 2 pass catcher.

Nico Collins is the top guy, but was held to 27 yards on four catches and 10 targets on Monday night. He left the game with a concussion, so his status will be one to watch - it also makes Schultz that much better of a waiver pickup going into next week.

Quarterback C.J. Stroud was 23-of-49 passing for 229 yards, a touchdown and an interception. He ran twice for 25 yards. It was an OK fantasy showing, but he took a step back after trending up over the past couple weeks. We'll see if he can perform better moving better, especially if Collins is out.

Woody Marks led the backfield, but he was bottled up most of the night. He had 15 rushing yards on 10 carries, while catching three of his five targets for 20 yards and a score. The score really was the only reason he scored in double figures.

Nick Chubb only rushed five times for 16 yards, while hauling in one of his three targets, but losing five yards on the play.

Marks looks like the lead back again, but this performance won't exactly make it easy for fantasy owners to trust him in the weeks to come. I'd take him over Chubb moving forward now.

Jaylin Noel stepped up a bit and went for 77 yards on four catches and seven targets. He's definitely worth an add if Collins were to miss week 8.

Xavier Hutchinson, Braxton Berrios and Jayden Higgins are some other wideouts who could take on more if Collins is out. None of them did much on Monday night, so Houston could be really hurting next game.

IDP and Kicker Stats

Tampa Bay's Tykee Smith and SirVocea Dennis each had a sack, while recording 13 and 12 tackles, respectively.

Smith has two sacks and 58 tackles for the season, so he's a pretty good weekly IDP option. Dennis is up to 52 tackles, so he's another good weekly option.

Detroit's Arthur Maulet had an interception and five tackles. In two games, he has eight tackles, so there's some deep IDP league value here.

Tampa Bay's Jamel Dean had a pick and two tackles. He has three interceptions, a sack and 18 tackles on the season, so those big plays make him a nice weekly IDP option at cornerback.

Detroit's Tyrus Wheat had 1.5 sacks among his three tackles and also forced a fumble. He has just five tackles on the season, so this might have been a bit of an outlier, but he's definitely on the IDP map now.

Seattle's Ernest Jones had an interception and 11 tackles. He has three picks and 59 tackles on the year, so he's a very good weekly option.

Houston's Kamari Lassiter had 10 tackles. He has 38 tackles overall, so why this was an outlier performance, he's still a pretty solid IDP option.

Texans' Calen Bullock had a pick and four tackles. He has 15 tackles on the year, so his IDP value is lower.

Houston's Derek Stingley Jr. had two tackles and an interception. He has two picks and 13 tackles, so he's a bit more valuable than Bullock, but not by much.

Seattle's Ty Okada had a sack among his nine tackles and a pass defensed. He has 27 tackles across seven games, so there's a little IDP value in him.

Houston's Will Anderson had a sack among his five tackles and a fumble recovery that he returned for a score. He has four sacks and 22 tackles overall, so he's got some IDP value to take advantage of too.

Detroit kicker Jake Bates made one of his two field goals and all three of his extra points. Chase McLaughlin made his only kick, a field goal.

Seattle kicker Jason Myers made two of his three field goals and all three of his extra points. Houston's Ka'imi Fairbairn made all three of his kicks, two field goals and an extra point.
