It's time for the final fantasy baseball waiver wire article of this work week! By the time we are back on Monday, things could look much different after trades go down.

Here are the waiver wire hitting articles from Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Also be sure to check out Friday's starting pitcher streaming article, and an article on three young hitters from Thursday.

Fantasy baseball waiver wire options can be found all season on FantasySP! The Fantasy Sports Assistant now can answer questions you have after doing team breakdowns or waiver wire analysis!

Jake Bauers and Cooper Pratt - Milwaukee Brewers

Bauers sits at 82.13% rostered right now - he was at 90% earlier this month, then regressed, but is now trending up again. Pratt is up to 21.7% owned after being at 10.22% on July 25.

Bauers is riding a five-game hitting streak right now, and has three multi-hit efforts in that span. He has a double and triple among the hits, plus an RBI, six runs scored, two stolen bases and walks and two strikeouts.

He's putting together a career season, with a .267 average and .370 on-base percentage over 98 games and 386 plate appearances. Bauers has 18 homers, 16 doubles and two triples among his 88 total knocks, plus 60 RBIs, 63 runs scored, 52 walks, eight stolen bases and 101 strikeouts.

Bauers is in the lineup daily, playing first base or a corner outfield spot. He's producing enough to own/utilize in most leagues. Bauers might only be available to a few of you, and those needing 1B or OF could definitely benefit from adding/starting Bauers.

Pratt has been in the big leagues since June 16, and is really starting to come around at the plate of late. Over his past 10 games, he has 12 hits and three walks over 36 plate appearances. Pratt has two homers and a double among the hits, plus seven RBIs and runs scored, three stolen bases and just seven strikeouts.

In 35 games and across 128 plate appearances this season in the big leagues, Pratt now has a .284 average and .367 OBP. He has four doubles, two homers and a triple among his 31 total hits, plus 14 RBIs, 17 runs scored, nine stolen bases, 15 walks and 22 strikeouts.

The shortstop is performing pretty well, and is worth more fantasy love. He's just a deep-league option for the time being, but he's one to track, as more strong results at the plate could sneak him into some standard leagues in time.

Daylen Lile - Washington Nationals

Lile is currently rostered in 63.83% of leagues, which is up about 2% from two days ago.

He has a six-game hitting streak going right now, with a triple and two homers among the seven hits in that span. Lile has five RBIs, four runs scored, a walk and five strikeouts in that stretch as well.

His first full season in the big leagues has shown regression from his rookie campaign, but Lile is delivering enough of late. Lile has a .248 average and .299 OBP over 108 games and 452 plate appearances this year, plus 54 RBIs, 56 runs scored, 10 stolen bases, 27 walks and 83 strikeouts. Lile has 22 doubles, 13 homers and five triples among his 103 total hits.

Lile is a solid fantasy asset, but a better deep-league option this year. In hotter stretches at the plate, he could be tried in standard leagues, but be watching his stats and drop him if his hitting starts falling off.

George Springer - Toronto Blue Jays

Springer is at 77.02% owned at the moment. He had dipped to 62.88% earlier this month, but is back on the rise again.

He has delivered pretty well since July 8, which was his first game played this month. Springer has a .288 average and .354 OBP over 15 games and 65 plate appearances. He has four homers, two doubles, 17 total hits, 13 RBIs, eight runs scored, a stolen base, six walks and eight strikeouts.

Springer has a .234 average and .317 OBP over 78 games and 344 plate appearances this season - the lower marks, and missed games, has Springer as a draft bust so far. He has 13 doubles, 12 homers, a triple, 71 total hits, 34 RBIs, 37 runs scored, 34 walks, seven stolen bases and 64 strikeouts.

He might have underperformed most of the season, but he's delivering enough of late to re-add and use in standard leagues again. He should have outfield position eligibility from last year, but he's starting daily as a designated hitter in 2026, so he'll lose that going into next year most likely.

Vaughn Grissom - Los Angeles Angels

Grissom sits at just 10.64% rostered as we head into the weekend. He was only at 3.48% three days ago, so he's definitely trending up.

He has six hits over his past three games. Grissom has a double and a homer among the knocks, plus five RBIs, two runs scored and three strikeouts in that stretch.

Grissom owns a .264 average and .331 OBP over his first 68 games and 261 plate appearances with the Angels. He has 14 doubles, seven homers, 61 total hits, 46 RBIs, 27 runs scored, 20 walks and 40 strikeouts as well.

He's played first, second and third base, so that bumps his fantasy value up a bit. Grissom is a better deep-league asset, but worth some adds as his bat heats up at the end of July.
