Every day of streaming in fantasy baseball is different. Just when focusing on pitchers, we have to look at the players in question, the offenses they are facing, and outside factors, like where they are playing. On a day when we have fewer teams in action, like today (12 teams are off), it makes things even tougher, and we see that in the quality of our streamers.

Let's look at four starting pitchers in action on Thursday who are widely available in fantasy leagues and have good matchups. Most stats are from MLB.com, as are the probable starters. The full streamer rankings are listed at the bottom.

Coleman Crow, Milwaukee Brewers vs. San Francisco Giants

Crow made his big-league debut on April 17 and has made three starts, totaling 14 1/3 innings, 11 hits, seven runs (five earned), three walks, and eight strikeouts. It's too early to glean anything definitive, but he has been good enough to at least consider when the matchup is right. He was decent in the minors and did good strikeout work, so there's hope for strong work in that area, but we just don't know much about what Crow will be as a major league player.

The Giants were perilously low in runs and home runs most of the early season, but they have improved a bit and now simply sit in the bottom five in those areas. They do lead the league in doubles, another measure of power, but San Francisco has about 40 fewer walks than any other team, keeping their on-base percentage low even with a good batting average. San Francisco is somewhere in the middle right now, making them an OK target.

Crow is a low-level streamer. The matchup is hard to quantify given how high the Giants are in some stats and how low in others, and with a rookie pitcher who has virtually no track record, we can't expect too much right now.

Lucas Giolito, San Diego Padres @ Philadelphia Phillies

Philadelphia's offense is cratering the team early in 2026, as they rank in the bottom five in runs, hits, doubles, walks, batting average, on-base percentage, and OPS. Their pitching staff has been a little better but not good enough to carry an offensive floundering so badly. The whole team is struggling outside of Bryce Harper, Brandon Marsh, and Kyle Schwarber (the latter of whom keeps mashing home runs with a low batting average, as usual).

Giolito missed the first month-and-a-half and has made only three starts. The middle outing was good (five shutout innings against the A's, though he walked five with just two strikeouts), but in the other two starts, he combined for seven runs allowed in 7 2/3 innings with seven walks and four strikeouts. It's way too early to know what to expect this year, but the numbers aren't pretty so far (he does have a 2-0 record).

Giolito is a low-level streamer. His work hasn't been good enough to really trust him, but the matchup is right, and Giolito does have high-level strikeout work in his past, so there's a little upside.

Andrew Morris, Minnesota Twins vs. Kansas City Royals

Morris has mostly worked as a relief pitcher in the major leagues. This is set to be a bullpen game for the Twins, so Morris is likely to make a short start, though they will surely try to get as many good innings out of him as they can. With the likelihood that he goes less than five innings, Morris won't be in line for a win, bringing down his fantasy value. He has been OK in his rookie season, though he was better in the minors when working almost exclusively as a starter.

Kansas City has seen another downturn after starting the season very slowly. They rank in the bottom 10 in runs, hits, home runs, and all four slash categories. The Royals are one of the least imposing offensive teams in the league and now sit near the bottom in runs scored.

Morris is a low-level streamer. He will probably make a short start, and while that's not necessarily an issue in itself, it keeps him from being eligible for a win, and with the rest of his numbers middling at best, there's not much upside here.

Trevor Rogers, Baltimore Orioles @ Boston Red Sox

The Red Sox have been better with hits and doubles, but they have hit for very little home run power, leaving them in the bottom five in runs scored. They don't strike out a lot, but they are even lower in walks; teams that don't get free runners or big hits to knock guys in quickly tend to struggle to score runs, and Boston has felt that struggle early in 2026.

Rogers has had a fairly brutal start to this season: 48 2/3 innings, 58 hits, 39 runs (37 earned), eight home runs, and a far-below-average strikeout rate. He's OK with walks, but Rogers has failed to excel in any area, and when he is getting hit so hard, there's not much reprieve coming anywhere else. This is a player Baltimore expected to maybe lead their rotation, but he has probably been a net negative this season.

Rogers is another low-level streamer in a day full of them. The matchup is decent, and Rogers has good work in his past, but this year has been a major struggle for the veteran pitcher.

Thursday's Streamer Rankings

  2. Lucas Giolito, SD
