It's time to go over one final round of fantasy baseball waiver wire hitting options before the work week ends.

Here are stories from Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Also be sure to check out Friday's starting pitcher streaming article.

Fantasy baseball waiver wire options can be found all season on FantasySP!

Trent Grisham - New York Yankees

Grisham is rostered in about 43% of fantasy baseball leagues at this moment. He's been around the 40% mark for the past several days, but is trending up now.

Grisham has four hits over his past two games, and had seven hits over a four-game stretch a bit before that. He is trending up after a very slow start at the plate.

He has just a .206 average and . 325 on-base percentage, even after his recent hot stretches. Grisham has played in 54 games, getting 209 plate appearances. He has nine doubles, seven home runs and a triple among his 36 total hits, plus 29 RBIs, 30 runs scored, three stolen bases, 32 walks and 38 strikeouts.

Grisham has underperformed this season, but he is starting to come around at the plate a bit. He's worth re-adding in some deeper leagues, and keeping an eye on in standard leagues. If he keeps hitting and playing daily, Grisham can be a really solid fantasy hitter.

Jesus Sanchez - Toronto Blue Jays

Sanchez has been added in 3.99% of leagues so far today, and now sits at 19.6% overall.

Sanchez has four hits over his past four games, including a double and home run. He has also been a strikeout victim (at least once) in five straight games, so that's working against him.

He has a .284 average and .322 OBP over 55 games and 177 plate appearances this season. Sanchez has 46 total hits, including 10 doubles and six homers. He has 27 RBIs, 18 runs scored, a stolen base, seven walks and 38 strikeouts as well.

Sanchez can be a decent fantasy asset at times, but he's just a deep-league option because of inconsistent results, him being part of a loaded outfield position and the strikeout issues. He's worth utilizing in some deeper leagues, so see if he's worth adding to your squad.

Blaze Alexander and Leody Taveras - Baltimore Orioles

Alexander is up 2.99%, while Taveras has risen 1.95%. Alexander is rostered in 7.64% of leagues, while Taveras is at just 8.97%.

Alexander has a pair of three-hit games over his past four appearances, and has seven hits total in that span. He has three extra-base hits among those hits, plus eight RBIs, three runs scored and a walk.

Alexander has a .256 average and .308 OBP over 48 games and 133 plate appearances this season. He has 31 total hits, including six doubles, a triple and a homer. Alexander has 14 RBIs, 14 runs scored, six stolen bases, eight walks and 35 strikeouts.

He should be eligible at several positions, which boosts his fantasy value. Alexander is still going to top out as a deep-league asset, no matter what. He's worth adding and utilizing while his bat is hot though, so consider him in some leagues.

Taveras had a string of three straight two-hit showings snapped on Thursday, but he still had a hit in that game to extend his hitting streak to four. He has four runs scored, two RBIs and a walk over that short span.

In 47 games and across 161 plate appearances this season, Taveras has a .277 average and .373 OBP. He has eight doubles, two home runs and a triple among his 38 total knocks, plus 21 RBIs and runs scored, six stolen bases, 20 walks and 34 strikeouts.

He is part of the loaded outfield position, but he's been sneaky good this season, and is worth some ownership. That's just in really deep leagues, but if you need a short-term fill-in, why not try Taveras for a bit, at least until his bat cools off a bit.

Isiah Kiner-Falefa - Boston Red Sox

Kiner-Falefa is owned in just 3% of leagues at this time. He had been barely rostered up until recently.

He is riding a four-game hitting streak, and has two extra-base hits amongst his six hits total in that span. IKF has five RBIs, three runs scored, three walks and just one strikeout as well.

Kiner-Falefa has a .300 average and .382 OBP this season, but that's in just 30 games and 69 plate appearances. He has two doubles and a homer among his 18 total knocks, plus 10 RBIs, nine runs scored, four stolen bases, eight walks and 10 strikeouts.

He can play several positions, so the Red Sox have different ways to get him in the lineup while his bat is hot. If Kiner-Falefa keeps playing daily, he's worth adding and utilizing in some deeper fantasy leagues. Keep tabs on him in case he keeps delivering, as he could be an asset in all deeper leagues, and maybe even sneak into some standard leagues down the line.
