From emerging deep-league bats to potential standard-league streamers, these hitters are trending up on the fantasy baseball waiver wire.

It's time to dive into more fantasy baseball waiver wire options. We'll look at hitters here.

Here are waiver wire hitter stories from Monday and Tuesday, plus a starting pitcher streaming article for Wednesday.

Fantasy baseball waiver wire options can be found all season on FantasySP!

Spencer Horwitz - Pittsburgh Pirates

Horwitz has been added in 2.65% of fantasy baseball leagues so far today, and sits at 16.23% overall now.

He has hits in four straight games, with six total knocks in that span. Horwitz has two home runs among the hits, plus three RBIs and runs scored in that stretch.

Horwitz is up to a .289 average and .391 on-base percentage over 50 games and 184 plate appearances on the season. He has seven doubles, six homers and a triple among his 44 total knocks. Horwitz also has 25 RBIs, 20 runs scored, a stolen base, 26 walks and just 24 strikeouts.

The primary first baseman is performing better of late, so it shouldn't surprise you to see him on the rise as a fantasy asset. He's just a deep-league fantasy asset, but one to consider while his bat is hot. Him being a first baseman holds him back a bit, but he's delivering enough right now to add and utilize in more deeper leagues.

JJ Bleday - Cincinnati Reds

Bleday is at 59% owned at this moment. He's trending back up ever so slightly after being dropped of late.

He had a three-hit game on Tuesday, and hit a home run in the game before that. Bleday has struggled with strikeouts of late, with seven Ks over the past three games, but he's still rising as a fantasy asset because of the hits and other production at the plate.

In 26 games and 111 plate appearances so far this season, Bleday has a .287 average and .387 OBP. He has 27 total hits, including seven home runs, six doubles and a triple. Bleday has 21 RBIs, 16 runs scored, a stolen base, 16 walks and 21 strikeouts.

The outfielder has been a pleasant surprise since joining the Reds. His hot hitting has kept him in the lineup, and he's delivered enough to have plenty of fantasy value. He is a better deep-league asset in the long run, but in stretches, he can be a standard league streamer.

I'm good with utilizing him in deeper leagues, but I'd only use Bleday in standard leagues for a short timeframe. There's better long-term options out there to take over him.

Anthony Volpe - New York Yankees

Volpe is rostered in just 13% of fantasy leagues right now. After mostly trending down since May 21, he's back on the rise a bit.

Volpe posted three hits on Tuesday, including a double and a home run. He had a two-RBI hit to help the Yankees rally on Monday, and has four RBIs and four runs scored over the past two games.

He has 10 games and 40 plate appearances under his belt this season. Volpe has a .281 average and .425 OBP so far, along with seven RBIs, six runs scored, two stolen bases, eight walks and 10 strikeouts. Among his nine hits, he has three doubles and a home run.

Volpe is likely to regress in his average over time, and his OBP will definitely drop. He played injured the past couple seasons, and now healthy, Volpe could be in for a career season at the plate.

Consider adding the shortstop in more deeper leagues now, as he could remain a solid fantasy asset all season. If you aren't ready to add him today, keep close tabs on Volpe, as he's started strong and is trending up.

He'll need to really keep producing to get into standard leagues eventually. Volpe is one to watch.

Jacob Young - Washington Nationals

Young is up to 9% owned - he was at about 3% on May 20, and he's risen pretty steadily since then.

He has four hits over a three-game hitting streak. Young has a homer among the hits, plus three runs scored and an RBI.

Young is hitting just .237 and getting on base at a .289 clip, but he's been a bit better of late, so he's on the rise. He has six doubles and seven home runs among his 42 total hits, plus 24 RBIs, 25 runs scored, three stolen bases, nine walks and 32 strikeouts.

The outfielder is going to top out as a deep-league fantasy asset, but he's worth utilizing while his bat is hot. Give Young some consideration in deeper leagues.
