Looking at a few waiver wire pitchers and hitters to consider adding in fantasy baseball leagues.

A new week of fantasy baseball is here, so it's time for our first waiver wire story of the week!

We won't cover any starting pitchers from Monday's streaming story.

Check out daily fantasy baseball projections at FantasySP all MLB season! More waiver wire options can also be found on FantasySP.

Should You Add Otto Kemp?

Kemp is up another 3.49% today and sits at 20.96% overall now.

Kemp went hitless on Sunday, but had nine hits over the five games before that. He had three doubles and two homers among those hits, along with seven RBIs, five runs scored, a walk and stolen base and five strikeouts.

He has a .249 average and .314 on-base percentage over 53 games and 188 plate appearances in his first taste of the big leagues. Kemp has 42 total hits, including 10 doubles and six home runs. He also has 24 RBIs, 22 runs scored, two stolen bases, 10 walks and 56 strikeouts.

Kemp has played first base, third base and left field, so he should be eligible at a couple spots. That adds to his fantasy value of course.

He's batted between the fifth-seventh slots in the order over the team's past five games. Philly is battling injuries right now, but there's still enough talent in the lineup to make anyone a good fantasy asset.

Kemp is worth an add in deeper fantasy leagues. He'll need to deliver another big week at the plate to get into more standard leagues.

Should You Add Harrison Bader?

Bader has been added in 4.32% of leagues and is rostered in 43.48% overall.

Bader has a hit in seven straight games, with 16 total knocks over that span. Dating back to the final game in August, Bader has 24 knocks over his past 14 games. Bader has six doubles and two homers among those hits, along with nine RBIs, 13 runs scored, two walks and 21 strikeouts.

He's been stellar since joining the Phillies at the trade deadline. Bader has a .349 average and .406 OBP across 38 games and 143 plate appearances. He has 10 doubles, four homers and a triple among his 45 total hits, along with 15 RBIs, 24 runs scored, nine walks and 40 punchouts.

Overall in 134 games and 450 plate appearances, Bader has a .288 average and .360 OBP now. He has 115 total hits, including 23 doubles, 16 homers and a triple. Bader has 53 RBIs, 55 runs scored, six stolen bases, 36 walks and 121 strikeouts.

He's found new life since joining a much better Phillies' team. Bader has been the team's leadoff hitter in each of the past five games, so that's another plus for his fantasy value and upside.

Things could change when the team gets some of its starters back, but for now, Bader has definitely got some real fantasy value. I'm a bit surprised he isn't owned in more leagues.

That just gives deep-league owners a chance to add Bader for free today. I'd add and stream him in all deeper leagues until he starts cooling off, or he loses his spot atop the lineup. He's even a decent standard league option, although being an outfielder knocks him down a couple pegs, because there's so many good/great options available.

Should You Add Kody Clemens?

Clemens is up 5.79% and sits at 12.42% overall.

He started the year with Philly, but is now on a retooling Twins' roster. That's afforded Clemens some playing time, and he's taking advantage of it lately.

He had a four-hit game on Friday, and delivered seven hits over the weekend in total. Clemens had three homers on Friday, along with a double. He drove in seven runs this weekend, while scoring three times, stealing a base and walking once and striking out twice.

In 108 games and 345 plate appearances this season, Clemens has a .216 average and .286 OBP. Among his 67 total hits, he has 19 homers, 11 doubles and three triples. Clemens has 50 RBIs, 43 runs scored, three stolen bases, 26 walks and 80 strikeouts.

Clemens has played at first base, second base and all three outfield spots this season. It's worth looking into what positions he's eligible at, because that gives him some legit fantasy value.

He moved up to the No. 3 spot in the order on Sunday, so that's something to keep an eye on too. He's already on the rise as a fantasy asset, and moving to that spot in the order would boost his value even more.

While Clemens isn't part of a good lineup, he's definitely a fantasy asset to target, especially in deeper leagues. He can help you out at several spots, and remain a solid versatile option for the remainder of the season.

Look into him and see if he's worth streaming for a little while.

Should You Add Andrew Kittredge?

Kittredge has been added in 6.98% of leagues, bringing his total mark to 23.95%.

He's on the rise after taking over as the Cubs' closer. A couple injuries opened the door for Kittredge, and he's taking advantage of things.

He has saves in three straight appearances. In those games, he's not allowed a run or hit, while walking just one. He has five strikeouts over his three innings worked.

This month across six appearances, Kittredge also has a hold and a win, so he's been pitching high-leverage innings for Chicago.

He hasn't allowed a run since August 24, which was nine appearances ago. In his 7 2/3 innings since, Kittredge has allowed two hits and two walks, while striking out 10.

On the season, he has a 4-3 record, five saves, just one blown save and 14 holds. Kittredge has pitched 49 innings and sports a 3.31 earned run average. He's allowed 20 runs (18 earned) on 37 hits and 11 walks, while striking out 56 batters.

Kittredge obviously has more fantasy value if he's earning some saves. He was already pitching well this season, and now he's in a spot to deliver better fantasy results.

He's at least worth a roster spot in deeper fantasy leagues. This late in the season, he's also not a bad standard league asset. See if he's outperforming your fantasy relief options and give Kittredge an add if he is.

Should You Add Emmet Sheehan?

Sheehan is up 4.94% today as he prepares for a start. He's rostered in 63.98% of leagues overall.

He will make a Monday night start against the Phillies, who we've discussed a bunch already in this story. It's not a very good fantasy matchup for a pitcher.

It will be the first time that Sheehan has faced them this season. Overall, he's made 12 appearances, covering 59 2/3 innings.

He has a 6-3 record and 3.32 ERA so far. Sheehan has allowed 27 runs (22 earned) on 46 hits and 19 walks. He's struck out 69 batters to deliver good fantasy results.

You can see by some of his numbers why he's a streaming option tonight, even in a subpar matchup.

Over his past three starts, Sheehan has been great. He's 2-1 with a 1.45 ERA over 18 2/3 innings. He allowed two of the three runs in a 4 2/3-inning start that he took a loss in. Sheehan has 25 strikeouts over this three-game stretch as well.

I like the idea of starting Sheehan in deeper leagues today, and a handful of standard leagues. The tougher matchup has me against starting him in all standard leagues, but depending on your options, you might not have a better choice.
