After ranking the top-30 fantasy football running backs for week 4, let's do the same for the tight end spot.

We are looking at things from a PPR perspective.

Check back soon for rankings for quarterbacks and wide receivers!

Check out week 4 fantasy football projections for tight ends on FantasySP as well.

1. Trey McBride

McBride gets the top spot in the week 4 rankings at tight end.

He's been a good fantasy asset through three weeks and has a fantastic matchup against the Seahawks in week 4. Seattle has allowed the most fantasy points to opposing tight ends so far.

2. Brock Bowers

Bowers has struggled a bit over the past two weeks, but in another good matchup, he gets the No. 2 slot.

Bowers has the Bears, who have been an above-average matchup for fantasy tight ends so far. We'll see if Bowers can get back on track in this one.

3. Tyler Warren

Warren was finally slowed a bit in week 3, but I'm not bailing on him after one down outing.

He gets the Rams in week 4. Los Angeles is just an average fantasy test, so I expect a bounceback showing from the rookie tight end.

4. Jake Ferguson

Ferguson continues his climb up the rankings going into week 4. He's delivered two stellar PPR outings in a row.

He had a pretty good matchup against the Packers in week 4. Ferguson should be an auto-start if CeeDee Lamb ends up missing the contest.

5. Tucker Kraft

Kraft is the other tight end in that matchup. He was slowed in week 3, but has a nice chance to bounce back against the Cowboys.

Dallas is an average test for fantasy tight ends so far, and with a couple Packers' playmakers still out, I like Kraft again this week.

6. Hunter Henry

Henry gets a huge bump this week after an excellent showing in week 3. He will have a very favorable test against the Panthers in week 4.

I think you almost have to start Henry with him coming off his big showing and in this matchup. At a tough position to find consistent production, he's one of the better options this week.

7. Sam LaPorta

I'm going with LaPorta here at No. 7 as he gets ready for a game against the Browns. Cleveland's defense has been really good in the early going, but tight ends are still a favorable matchup.

With how the Lions' offense has looked of late, I'm fine starting LaPorta repeatedly, even if he's not delivering too much. His fantasy upside is just higher than others, so I'm giving him the edge.

8. Juwan Johnson

Johnson was finally slowed a bit in week 3, but he still had over 10 PPR points. He's got one of the tougher TE matchups against Buffalo in week 4.

With how he's delivered in tougher matchups already, I'm a fan of starting Johnson in just about every fantasy setup for this week.

9. Travis Kelce

Kelce has been unimpressive so far, so that's why he ranks a bit lower, despite having a nice matchup against the Ravens in week 4.

I just don't trust Kelce at this point, so he's not a locked-in fantasy starting tight end. He gets a top-10 spot this week because of the matchup.

10. David Njoku

Njoku has a favorable matchup coming against the Ravens in week 4.

He's been steady in the early going, but hasn't delivered a monster fantasy outing yet. I could see Njoku putting up season-high numbers in this fantasy matchup.

11. Kyle Pitts Sr.

Pitts has a clash against the Commanders in week 4. That's just ever so slightly an above-average matchup.

He too has been steady, but unimpressive, in the early going. That's why he's on the outside of the top 10, despite a pretty solid matchup.

12. Dalton Kincaid

Kincaid had his best showing of the season in week 3. He now has a pretty average matchup coming against the Saints.

As long as this doesn't turn into a big blowout early, I see Kincaid delivering pretty solid numbers.

13. T.J. Hockenson

Hockenson finally got rolling in week 3, but now he has to deal with the return of Jordan Addison, who was suspended the first three weeks.

He has the Steelers in week 4, which is the second-best fantasy matchup for a tight end. I'm not all in with Hock yet, so he's on the outside of the top 10 for me.

14. Dallas Goedert

Goedert returned to the field in week 3, but only caught one pass. Luckily, it went for a 33-yard touchdown, so he delivered a nice fantasy showing.

I see him being more involved in week 4, but a tough test against the Buccaneers has me skeptical of starting Goedert.

15. Zach Ertz

Ertz gets my No. 15 spot going into a battle with the Falcons. Atlanta is the toughest fantasy matchup for a tight end.

Ertz had his worst fantasy showing in week 3, but after scoring in each of the first two weeks, it was going to be tough to match those outings. I'm willing to give him a try here though.

16. Chig Okonkwo

Okonkwo gets bumped up a couple slots as he readies for a matchup against the Texans. It's a pretty tough matchup on paper, although it's really just below average overall.

Okonkwo got going a bit in week 3, so we'll see if he can keep things rolling.

17. Harold Fannin

Fannin had his lowest fantasy output in week 3, but still was pretty involved. He has a much better matchup against the Lions in week 4.

Having Njoku around doesn't scare me much anymore, and with what Fannin has done early in the season, I'm willing to keep him as a top-20 fantasy TE.

18. Mark Andrews

Andrews finally starred in week 3, but now has Isaiah Likely to probably deal with again. It was good to see Andrews excelling again, but I'm still not too excited about his fantasy outlook.

He also has a tougher matchup against the Chiefs this week, so that's another reason to look elsewhere for fantasy help.

19. Brenton Strange

Strange has the Niners in week 4. San Fran has been a pretty average matchup so far, but it's ever so slightly an above-average matchup for him.

Strange has good fantasy showings in two of three weeks so far, so I'd be willing to try him again this coming week.

20. Evan Engram

Engram keeps falling in the rankings for me. He missed week 3 with an injury, so his status is worth watching.

He has a really favorable matchup against the Bengals, so maybe he finally gets going this week. I'm not comfortable ranking him any higher than this until he shows me something though.

21. Dalton Schultz

Schultz has a below-average matchup against the Titans, but we're running out of options, so he gets a nod near the end of my rankings.

Schultz had his best fantasy outing in week 3, and maybe does a bit more in this one, so in deeper setups, he could be worth a gamble.

22. Jonnu Smith

Smith has the Vikings in week 4 - that's a very average matchup.

He's only been slightly involved so far, but there's enough there to take him with one of my last spots I think.

23. Cade Otton

Otton has a tough test against the Eagles in week 4.

He has not done much yet this season, but maybe he'll be more involved with Mike Evans out with an injury.

24. Darren Waller

I keep putting Waller near the end of my rankings, but he keeps missing games. He's expected to play in what's a slightly below-average test against the Jets.

Miami needs an offensive jolt, so we'll see if Waller can provide a little something.

25. Noah Fant

Fant has a concussion, so his status will be one to watch as the week progresses.

He has the Broncos in week 4 - Denver is another slightly below-average matchup. Fant has been involved enough to take in my last spot, if he's playing.
