Understated Role in New Orleans Limits Standard-League Appeal
Noah Fant enters the New Orleans offense after a modest 2025 campaign with Cincinnati, where he caught 35 passes for 297 yards and three touchdowns. In his new home, Fant finds himself listed behind Juwan Johnson on the tight end depth chart. Competing for targets with established pass-catchers like Chris Olave, Fant is projected to operate in a rotational or complementary role.
Our models project Fant to produce a quiet 25 receptions, 238 receiving yards, and just one touchdown over the course of the season. This low-volume projection aligns with his cratering draft market sentiment. Fant's ADP has plummeted from around 430 in early May to a virtually undrafted 680 by June. At this price, he is a falling asset.
Currently rostered in just four percent of fantasy leagues, Fant is not a recommended target in standard redraft formats. While he possesses athletic upside, his limited projected target share makes him a low-ceiling option. Unless Johnson misses significant time, Fant is best left on the waiver wire as depth.
