Fantasy Football Mock Draft: FantasySP Mock Draft Simulator
A 12-Team Mock Draft in .5 PPR format done with our FantasySP Mock Draft Simulator.
This fantasy football mock draft was a 17-round draft done with our FantasySP Mock Draft Simulator available with our NFL Draft Prep Tools. This is set in a 12-team league in a .5 PPR format. The starting lineup consists of one QB, two RBs, three WRs, one TE and two Flex, and there are 8 bench spots.
Pick 1.3 - Tyreek Hill, Miami Dolphins
I've been drafting very running back heavy in most drafts I've done so far this summer so I decided to switch it up and grab a top wide receiver. Hill is my WR1 overall in my rankings so I was excited that CeeDee Lamb went at the second pick. It was tough not drafting Bijan Robinson or Breece Hall, but you can't not love getting the Cheetah here.
2.10 - Isiah Pacheco, Kansas City Chiefs
This pick may be a bit controversial considering I grabbed Pacheco with De'Von Achane, Josh Allen, Josh Jacobs and Travis Kelce still on the board. He is a player I believe in and I'm willing to trust myself and draft him where he deserves to be picked even if it's ahead of ADP.
Pick 3.3 - Brandon Aiyuk, San Francisco 49ers
The value was at wide receiver here, but there were a few options I could have gone with. I opted for Aiyuk over Nico Collins, Mike Evans and Deebo Samuel Sr. Any of those options would be excellent choices, but Aiyuk is my preference.
Pick 4.10 - George Pickens, Pittsburgh Steelers
The best available according to ADP was Malik Nabers, however, I just wrote an article saying Pickens is a guy I would reach for and I put my money where my mouth is. This will be a breakout year for the young wideout who takes over the WR1 role in 2024.
Pick 5.3 - Rhamondre Stevenson, New England Patriots
I passed over James Conner, David Montgomery, Aaron Jones and D'Andre Swift for Stevenson who was lower in ADP. This is another player I believe in. The Pats' offense will be better and we've seen that he's capable of being both efficient and a workhorse who can play on all three downs.
Pick 6.10 - James Conner, Arizona Cardinals
Somehow Conner still fell back to me in the sixth round. Najee Harris and Zamir White both went before him in one of the most disrespectful rounds I've ever witnessed. The only other players I even considered here were Christian Kirk and Anthony Richardson.
Pick 7.3 - Raheem Mostert, Miami Dolphins
I would have preferred going wide receiver here based on roster construction but there was just no one there. That was proven when only two wideouts were picked over the next 17 picks and one in the next 11. Mostert is being criminally undervalued this year after a monster 2023 season. Odds are he won't repeat what he did last year, nevertheless, he'll far exceed seventh-round value.
Pick 8.10 - Jared Goff, Detroit Lions
When I don't get a top QB, this is the guy I often target. He's leading one of the best offenses in the league and only plays three outdoor games all year. With that said, his playoff schedule is brutal, and two of those outdoor games include a championship week in San Fran. So prepare for that.
Pick 9.3 - Tyler Lockett, Seattle Seahawks
I grabbed Lockett here which isn't the most exciting pick. However, I did opt for him over his teammate Jaxon Smith-Njigba who was atop the ADP rankings when I picked.
Pick 10.10 - Taysom Hill, New Orleans Saints
I admittedly waited too long for a tight end. So why not go with the TE with the most upside? Every year he ends up as a valuable option because of the way he's deployed in New Orleans. Just be prepared for quite a few dud weeks as well.
Pick 11.3 - Rico Dowdle, Dallas Cowboys
This was the only running back left on the board who had a legitimate shot of being the RB1 on his own team without anyone getting injured. The upside was too much for me to pass up when I had a shot of getting the Cowboys' RB1 in Round 11.
Pick 12.10 - Jayden Daniels, Washington Commanders
Speaking of upside, here I grabbed my backup quarterback. I usually don't draft a backup, but Daniels is a guy worth keeping on your bench for a few weeks and watching. He has the potential to be a fantasy superstar right out of the gates.
Pick 13.3 - Josh Downs, Indianapolis Colts
This is the round when the picks start becoming dart throws for the most part. Downs had a sneaky good rookie year prior to injury and was particularly good with Anthony Richardson under center. He's worth a shot here and could become a flex option.
Pick 14.10 - Audric Estime, Denver Broncos
This is a back that before he was drafted I ranked as my RB8 in the 2024 NFL Draft and had ranked as the third-best fantasy rookie RB immediately after the draft based on his landing spot. Reports have been glowing coming out of camp and haven't been as great surrounding Javonte Williams. There are even some rumors Williams could be dealt with prior to Week 1. It's not likely but Estime is worth a shot here.
Pick 15.3 - Roman Wilson, Pittsburgh Steelers
Before getting injuries reports out of Pittsburgh were extremely positive surrounding Wilson. They have no one on the depth chart after Pickens so he could see a lot of targets as soon as he gets on the field.
Pick 16.10 - D.J. Chark, Los Angeles Chargers
Chark has been a standout in Chargers' camp and it's not impossible that he will emerge as the WR1 in that offense. In the 16th round, that's enough to get me to grab him.
Pick 17.3 - Kendrick Bourne, New England Patriots
Bourne was outstanding last year before getting injured and was easily the biggest playmaker in New England. Everyone is excited about the young guys on the Pats' but it's very possible Bourne is once again their top option and main playmaker.
