Let's kick off Tuesday by checking out some fantasy baseball waiver wire pitching options!

We will look at streaming starting pitchers and some relief options too. Check back later for a waiver wire story on hitters.

Fantasy baseball waiver wire options can be found all season on FantasySP!

Brandon Sproat - Milwaukee Brewers

Sproat has been added in 7.34% of fantasy baseball leagues, which brings his overall mark up to 24.81%.

Sproat will be making a start against the Reds on Tuesday evening. It's a good matchup on paper, and Sproat just delivered in this matchup. Against the Reds on June 23, he worked six scoreless innings, striking out 10 along the way.

Over 15 appearances this season, he's 2-4 with a 5.43 earned run average. He's allowed 42 runs on 62 hits and 32 walks over 69 2/3 innings. Sproat has 73 strikeouts along the way.

He's not a must-start guy today because of his overall numbers, but after what he did in his last start against the same opponent, there's at least some deep-league streaming appeal with Sproat.

Griffin Jax - Tampa Bay Rays

Jax is rostered in 57.14% of leagues after being picked up in 2.7% of leagues so far today.

Jax will be starting against the Royals on Tuesday. That's another good matchup on paper. He too faced them in his last start, allowing two unearned runs over five innings. Jax gave up five hits and two walks, while striking out seven.

He's appeared in 22 games so far, making 11 starts in a row. Jax is 3-5 with two blown saves and two holds, and he has a 4.41 ERA over 54 innings. In his starts, Jax is 2-3 with a 2.40 ERA over 45 innings - he's allowed 18 runs (12 earned) on 41 hits and 13 walks, while striking out 43 batters.

Jax has been pretty good as a starting pitcher, but is a bit limited because he's topped out at five innings pitched. I like the matchup, and it makes him another good deep-league streaming option for Tuesday. He could even be tried in some standard leagues.

Connelly Early - Boston Red Sox

Early is up 3.71% and now sits at 75.19% overall.

He will square off against the Nationals on Tuesday. It's a good matchup on paper.

Early has appeared in 16 games, and he sits with a 7-5 record and 3.59 ERA over 87 2/3 innings. He's allowed 35 runs on 78 hits and 32 walks, while striking out 88 along the way.

He's allowed two or less runs in back-to-back starts, and in a good matchup today, I expect Early to keep things rolling. He should be starting in all deeper leagues, and a good amount of standard leagues as well.

Emilio Pagan - Cincinnati Reds

Pagan is rostered in 61% of fantasy leagues right now.

He has been on the injured list with a hamstring injury, but he's expected to be activated on Tuesday. Even better, he's immediately getting his closer role back upon his return.

He's appeared in 15 games so far. Pagan is 2-1 with six saves and three blown saves, and he has a 6.43 ERA. Four of the 10 runs he's allowed this season came in the two appearances before he landed on the IL. Pagan has 11 strikeouts over 14 innings pitched overall.

Pagan is a pretty solid fantasy asset when healthy, even if his season numbers don't show it right now. The bigger issue is that Cincinnati isn't winning as much as it was early in the season, so that hurts a closer's fantasy outlook. I still think he's worth adding in deeper leagues (if he's available) and keeping tabs on in standard leagues in case he returns and shines in the closer role.

Jacob Latz - Texas Rangers

Latz is sitting at 84% owned right now. He was at 63% back on June 14 and sat at just 46% a month ago.

He continues to dominate, especially in June. Latz has a save in all but one of his 11 appearances this month. He's up to 17 saves on the season.

Over 32 appearances, Latz is 1-1 and has a stellar 1.76 ERA. Latz has two blown saves and two holds as well. Over 41 innings, he's allowed eight runs on 17 hits and nine walks. He has a stellar WHIP, and 41 strikeouts to go along with the low ERA.

He needs to be rostered and utilized in all deeper leagues, and I also like him in standard leagues. Texas is winning enough close games to make Latz a really good fantasy reliever right now.
