Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire Hitters to Add Monday
A look at the top waiver wire hitters to target, from rising bats to short-term streaming options.
Let's continue our look at fantasy baseball waiver wire/streaming options by going over some hitters.
We just looked at pitchers, and started the morning by going over weekly projections to identify some more options.
Fantasy baseball waiver wire options can be found all season on FantasySP!
Josh Jung - Texas Rangers
Jung is up 7.01% so far today, which is the most of any hitter on FantasySP's waiver list so far. He's rostered in 21.78% of leagues overall.
Jung is starting daily, but hitting near the bottom of the order. That hasn't mattered much lately, as he has eight hits over his past four contests. Jung has four doubles and two homers in that span, plus five RBIs, three runs scored, a walk and just two strikeouts.
Jung has a .290 average and .342 on-base percentage on the season, which are good marks, especially considering he had a .200 average and .243 OBP as of April 10. He has seven doubles and two homers among his 20 hits on the year, plus eight RBIs, seven runs scored, six walks and 14 strikeouts.
The third baseman is on the rise, and is gaining back lost fantasy value from his slow start to the season. Jung is worth some more adds in deeper leagues today, and is worth keeping tabs on in case he keeps hitting, as he could work into standard leagues then.
Dillon Dingler - Detroit Tigers
Dingler has been picked up in 2.42% of leagues, which brings his overall mark to 63.61%.
Dingler has been great to kick off 2026, and he was part of the weekly projections story I mentioned earlier. He has a .302 average and .380 OBP over 19 games and 73 plate appearances so far.
Dingler has five homers and four doubles among his 19 total hits. He also has 18 RBIs, 10 runs scored, four walks and 12 strikeouts.
Dingler is at a fantasy position (catcher) that's tough to find consistent production at. Dingler has delivered time and time again early on, and could be headed toward a breakout season. Give him some more adds today, and you might have a season-long asset on your hands - and that goes for all leagues.
Luke Raley - Seattle Mariners
Raley is up to 38.98% owned after being added in 2.72% of leagues.
He sits with a .313 average and .370 OBP over 21 games and 73 plate appearances on the season. Raley has five homers, four doubles and a triple among his 21 total knocks, plus 13 RBIs, 11 runs scored, four walks and 25 strikeouts.
Raley sits against left-handed starting pitchers, but he's delivering enough when out there to own/utilize in most deeper leagues. He's a better standard league streaming option if he's not starting every day though.
Raley has some big games of late, so if you are in need of a one-day boost, look Raley's way. Just make sure he's in the lineup before adding him in standard leagues. He's worth adding in deeper leagues.
Daniel Schneemann - Cleveland Guardians
Schneemann is up 6.18%, which brings his overall mark to 20.63%.
He had a seven-game hitting streak snapped on Sunday, but still got on base two times and scored a run. Schneemann has a .440 average and .533 OBP over his past eight contests.
Overall, Schneemann has a .302 average and .362 OBP in his 18 games and 58 plate appearances on the season. He has six doubles and two homers among his 16 hits, plus 11 RBIs, nine runs scored, a stolen base, five walks and 16 strikeouts.
He could be eligible at several spots, which adds more fantasy value to his name. Schneemann is worth adding in some deeper leagues, but that's where he's likely to top out.
Jeremiah Jackson - Baltimore Orioles
Jackson continues to rise, and is now owned in 72.49% of leagues. He's been added in 3.83% of leagues today.
Jackson continues to deliver. He's got a .303 average and .319 OBP over 20 games and 69 plate appearances overall. Jackson has 20 hits, including two doubles and five homers, plus 17 RBIs, six runs scored, a stolen base, one walk and 18 strikeouts.
He's taking advantage of extra playing time as Jackson Holliday continues to miss time. Holliday is expected back relatively soon, so utilize Jackson while you can.
Jackson is worth deep-league adds. If you are adding him in standard leagues, just know that his playing time/role could shrivel when Holliday is back, so don't put all your marbles in his basket.
Jorge Soler - Los Angeles Angels
Soler is up 2.32% and sits at 55.01% overall.
Soler returned from his four-game suspension on Sunday and had a single across four plate appearances. He now has four hits over his past three appearances, but also six strikeouts in that span.
He has a .232 average and .337 OBP over 19 games and 83 plate appearances for the season. Soler has 16 hits, including three doubles and five home runs. He also has 18 RBIs, 13 runs scored, 10 walks and 29 strikeouts.
He offers good pop, but a lower average and high strikeout numbers hold him back a good bit. I think he's actually a bit overowned in fantasy leagues right now. Soler is a solid deep-league asset, but I'd think there are better standard league options out there. Do some digging before adding him in your fantasy leagues.
