Bryan Reynolds remains a core fantasy asset despite recent minor injury scare

Reynolds has been steady for the 46-45 Pirates, who currently sit fourth in the NL Central and are looking to climb the standings following a two-game win streak. Over the last 30 days, he has been on a tear, slashing .315 with seven home runs and 17 RBI while maintaining a robust .388 on-base percentage. While a groin injury caused a brief scare in mid-June, our data confirms he is fully healthy and back in his everyday role as the primary left fielder and occasional designated hitter.

His current .279 batting average and elite walk rate are significant improvements over his 2025 campaign, and he has already nearly surpassed our preseason expectations for home runs and runs batted in before the All-Star break. While his last 14 days show a slight dip to a .259 average, his power has remained consistent, and his career track record suggests this is a sustainable breakout rather than a fluke. His ability to draw walks provides a stable floor even when the hits aren't falling as frequently.
