Fantasy Football Wide Receiver Rankings for Week 16: Mike Evans, Tetairoa McMillan, Jaylen Waddle and More
Morgan gives his week 16 fantasy football rankings for wide receivers.
Let's wrap up our week 16 fantasy football rankings by going over the wide receiver position.
We looked at quarterbacks, running backs and tight ends in three separate stories.
Check out week 16 fantasy football projections for wide receivers on FantasySP as well.
1. Puka Nacua
This top ranking should tell you I'm speculating a bit. I see Davante Adams missing the Thursday game against Seattle, leaving Nacua to shine as the lone elite wideout.
Nacua's matchup is tougher, but without Adams, he will be targeted early and often, which should lead to a big fantasy score. Nacua had 75 yards on seven catches and eight targets the last time the teams met.
In the same game, I have JSN going off as well.
His matchup is pretty favorable though, so he has a great chance to finish as WR1 this week. Smith-Njigba had 105 yards on nine catches and 12 targets in the team's last matchup.
ARSB went off last week, and he remains a high-end fantasy wideout.
A pretty favorable matchup against the Steelers is another reason to believe in St. Brown, if you don't already.
4. Nico Collins
Collins was great last week as well, so he'll look to keep trending up.
Las Vegas is another favorable matchup, so several high-end fantasy wideouts are set up well this week.
Chase delivered big despite not scoring a touchdown last week.
A below-average test against the Dolphins is next, but even if the Bengals are back to full strength, I see Chase delivering big again.
6. Drake London
London has a better chance to play this week, but his status still needs to be watched.
A just below-average test against the Cardinals awaits, but I'd expect the top-end fantasy wideout to deliver a good score if he returns.
7. A.J. Brown
Brown didn't do much this past week, but he scored to post a decent fantasy score yet.
A pretty favorable matchup against the Commanders is a chance for Brown to score a bunch of fantasy points in week 16, so he lands in my top 10.
8. CeeDee Lamb
Lamb was good again without a touchdown in week 15.
The league's toughest fantasy test for a wideout awaits Lamb, but he's just too good to rank any lower than this.
9. Rashee Rice
Rice is a top-end fantasy wideout when he's healthy, but down Patrick Mahomes now, I'd be more skeptical of starting Rice.
Luckily, a great matchup against the Titans awaits, so I think Rice could deliver a top-10 score with Gardner Minshew throwing to him still.
10. Chris Olave
Olave got back on track last week after a down outing in week 14.
A below-average test against the Jets isn't ideal, but it doesn't scare me off the Saints' top pass catcher.
11. Mike Evans
Evans got back on the field last week and posted a huge final line on 12 targets.
Even if he regresses, I still like his fantasy outlook for week 16. A below-average test against the Panthers awaits.
12. Jameson Williams
Williams has caught fire down the stretch for Detroit, so it was hard to keep him out of my top 10.
The pretty nice matchup against the Steelers is a chance for Williams to shine again, even with St. Brown leading the charge.
13. George Pickens
Pickens has been slowed the past two weeks, but he still has a good fantasy outlook in this Dallas offense.
The tough matchup is a bit scary, but I think Pickens gets rolling again this week.
14. DK Metcalf
Metcalf has been good over the past two weeks, so I'm willing to place him inside my top 15 this week.
A great matchup against the Lions is another reason to believe in Metcalf again in week 16.
15. Zay Flowers
Flowers has been really good over the past two weeks as well, so I'm willing to try him again in week 16.
A slightly below-average test against the Patriots isn't enough to scare me off Flowers.
16. Justin Jefferson
Jefferson continues to underwhelm, but at least he had a healthy eight targets last week.
Maybe a great matchup against the Giants is finally the game that Jefferson starts delivering in again.
McMillan was pretty bottled up in week 15, but I really like his matchup for week 16.
Tampa Bay is an average matchup on paper, but that defense has been pretty bad of late, so I like the Carolina rookie wideout to deliver a nice fantasy outing.
18. Ladd McConkey
McConkey has done very little over the past two weeks.
An elite matchup against the Cowboys is why I believe in McConkey this week, and you should too in a lot of leagues.
19. Courtland Sutton
Sutton had one of his better games in week 15, and I like him to continue rolling in week 16.
A slightly above-average matchup against Jacksonville should help Sutton start in a lot of leagues this coming week.
20. Tee Higgins
Higgins missed last week with a concussion, so his status needs to be monitored.
Again, Miami is a tougher matchup on paper, but it's not often you'll find me betting against Chase and Higgins, and I'm not again in week 16.
Robinson continues to be a pretty solid, or better, fantasy option in PPR leagues.
Minnesota is a stiffer test, but on volume alone, I like Robinson to deliver for fantasy owners.
22. Jaylen Waddle
Waddle disappointed on Monday night in week 15, and now has a young QB in Quinn Ewers who will be throwing to him.
Throw in a tougher test against the Bengals and Waddle doesn't rank so highly for me this week.
23. Marvin Harrison or Michael Wilson
Harrison is still injured, but if he's back, I like him to lead the Cardinals' wideout room. Wilson would if Harrison is eventually ruled out again.
Atlanta is a pretty favorable matchup, so the lead wideout could be worth starting in all leagues.
24. DeVonta Smith
Smith hasn't done much over the past three games, but the favorable matchup against Washington could help him get rolling.
I see Brown and Smith being good fantasy options this week.
25. Jauan Jennings
Jennings has been under 55 receiving yards in five of the past six games, but six scores over that span leaves him as a good fantasy wideout.
A favorable matchup against the Colts is another reason to fire Jennings up again in week 16.
26. Jakobi Meyers
Meyers has been a really nice addition to the Jaguars since being traded there.
Denver is a bit tougher test, so he ranks a bit lower than most would think.
27. Terry McLaurin
McLaurin has delivered solid fantasy results in two of his first three games back on the field.
Philly is a tougher test, otherwise he too would have ranked higher this week.
28. Jayden Reed
I see Christian Watson missing week 16, so Reed gets his spot in my top 30.
Reed has been pretty involved in his first two games back, and would take on more if Watson is out. A favorable matchup against the Bears is another reason to try Reed, especially if Watson is out too.
29. Michael Pittman
Pittman was underwhelming as a fantasy asset in Philip Rivers' first start, but he's still the team's top pass catcher, so he gets a top-30 spot at least one more week.
A pretty average matchup against San Francisco means Pittman could do just enough to finish inside the top 30 this week.
30. Emeka Egbuka
Egbuka had one of his better showings of late, which is funny since more Tampa Bay wideouts were healthy.
Anyways, I'd be willing to try Egbuka here and there in the slightly tougher test against Carolina. He's a good deep-league starting option, and a flex-level option in standard leagues.
