Moussa Cisse Season Outlook: Deep Reserve Facing Frontcourt Logjam

Moussa Cisse enters his second NBA campaign facing an uphill battle for rotation minutes in Dallas' frontcourt. With Dereck Lively II and Daniel Gafford handling center duties, Cisse sits buried on the depth chart. Reflecting this limited role, his fantasy roster rate has steadily declined from 10% down to 3% over the past month.

Our projections forecast a situational role, pegging Cisse for 11.2 minutes and 11.4 fantasy points per game across 36 projected appearances. When active, his production remains focused on traditional interior peripherals, as our models project 4.5 rebounds and 0.6 blocks per contest while shooting 55.7% from the field.

Without a clear path to consistent playing time, the 24-year-old big man holds minimal value in standard formats. He will need multiple frontcourt injuries ahead of him before entering streaming consideration, making him strictly a waiver-wire watch list candidate to start the year.
