Fantasy Football Week 10 DFS Lineup: Built Around Lions, like Jared Goff, Jahmyr Gibbs, and More
A DraftKings fantasy lineup for the Sunday games based around a great matchup for the Detroit Lions.
I set out to create a DFS lineup for Week 10 to share with you fine people, but I ran into an issue: many of my favorite players this week were already included in a sample lineup provided by my cohort here at FantasySP, Morgan Rode.
As I looked a little closer, I found that there were more players I really liked from a fantasy perspective, enough to make a whole second lineup that I would be happy with. Let's look at a DFS lineup built around a team with maybe the best matchup of the week: the Detroit Lions. This lineup was built on DraftKings. Most stats are from NFL.com.

Quarterback
- Jared Goff, Detroit Lions @ Washington Commanders
Goff has maybe the best matchup of the week against the Commanders, who have given up the most yards per pass attempt and the fourth-most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks. There won't be many better matchups for Goff, and we'll hear more from his teammates below.
Running Back/Flex
- Jahmyr Gibbs, Detroit Lions @ Washington Commanders
- Quinshon Judkins, Cleveland Browns @ New York Jets
- TreVeyon Henderson, New England Patriots @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers
I always like going after at least one top-tier running back, and there's no better place to start than with Goff's top running back. Gibbs gets the ball in both the running game and the passing game, so if you're in a PPR league, there's an extra bonus. Detroit could dominate this game and do plenty of running, which would give Gibbs the chance at a big day.
Judkins is one of the only reliable offensive players in Cleveland, and he is sure to get the ball plenty against the Jets. New York has given up the 10th-most yards per rush attempt and the ninth-most fantasy points per game to running backs. The Jets also lost a few top defenders at the trade deadline, so they are extra vulnerable in this one.
Rhamondre Stevenson will miss his second straight game, so Henderson is in line to lead the backfield. He split touches with Terrell Jennings last week, and Jenning scored a touchdown, but Henderson will do more work in the passing game, and Tampa Bay is susceptible to RBs as receivers, giving up close to 60 receiving yards per game to backs. Henderson is in position to succeed in Week 10.
Wide Receiver
- Ladd McConkey, Los Angeles Chargers vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
- Deebo Samuel Sr., Washington Commanders vs. Detroit Lions
- Jameson Williams, Detroit Lions @ Washington Commanders
McConkey and Keenan Allen are very close in every receiving stat, making it a toss-up as to who has been the top guy. Quentin Johnston has also done good work and leads the team with six touchdowns, making for a full pass-catching corps. That leaves a little worry of other guys stealing targets, but there has been plenty to go around, and the matchup against the Steelers is a positive one on Sunday night.
Washington is dealing with too many injuries to think about high-level offense, including missing their top quarterback, running back, and wide receiver from the beginning of the season. Marcus Mariota will start for the Commanders, which is a downgrade from Jayden Daniels, but Samuel is one of the few men left standing among the injuries, so he is likely to touch the ball in a game in which Washington might need to throw to keep up.
Let's go after Washington's defense one more time, and Williams is the cheaper option who will be looking to hit an explosive play against the sieve-like Commanders. Williams gained 66 yards and scored a touchdown last week after his offensive coordinator said he was going to get Williams the ball, and the receiver will probably again get a few touches schemed up, giving him a chance to find the end zone.
Tight End
- Dalton Kincaid, Buffalo Bills @ Miami Dolphins
The matchup here is the real star, as the Dolphins have given up the sixth-most yards per pass attempt and fifth-most fantasy points per game to tight ends. Kincaid has been involved but inconsistent, but with the matchup in his favor, he has a good outlook in this one.
Kincaid has caught six passes for over 100 yards in two of his past three games, scoring a touchdown in one of them. He has found the end zone four times, and with a high-scoring offense propelling him, there will always be the chance for a TD. Kincaid is a strong fantasy player in Week 10.
Defense
- Cleveland Browns @ New York Jets
This is partly about the Browns and more about the Jets. Cleveland has plenty of defensive talent, led by perennial Defensive-Player-of-the-Year candidate Myles Garrett. The Browns have the 10th-most sacks, and Garrett has 10 by himself.
Justin Fields has been sacked the sixth most despite missing a game and parts of two others; New York has scored the eighth-fewest points per game. The Jets are a good target to go after any week, and with a defensive like Cleveland, there's a little upside as well.
