Season-Ending Injury Nullifies Any Fantasy Outlook
Jennings was placed on injured reserve in mid-August due to an undisclosed injury and will miss the entire 2026 season. Even before the injury, he faced long odds for playing time in a New England backfield led by Rhamondre Stevenson and TreVeyon Henderson. Across eight career appearances over the past two seasons, Jennings logged just 37 carries.
The market reacted swiftly to his injury designation. Jennings saw his draft position plummet from around pick 651 in mid-July to past pick 940 by late August, while his roster percentage vanished to zero across leagues as managers cut ties.
Although our projections originally slated him for 35.0 fantasy points on 50 carries and 150 rushing yards, his confirmed season-long absence wipes away all fantasy utility. Jennings can be completely ignored across all standard redraft formats.
