Morgan gives his week 10 fantasy football rankings for running backs.

Let's wrap up our week 10 rankings by looking over the running back position. As always, we will have PPR settings in mind, and rank 30 backs.

Check out my rankings for quarterbacks, wide receivers and tight ends as well! Check back later in the week for more start/sit content.

Check out week 10 fantasy football projections for running backs on FantasySP as well.

1. Jonathan Taylor

Give me Taylor as the top PPR back for week 10, even after a slow week 9.

His matchup against the Falcons is pretty favorable, so I expect JT to get back on track in this one.

2. De'Von Achane

Achane gets a bit of a surprising nod for the No. 2 spot.

A favorable matchup against the Bills helps him to that spot. He had 91 total yards on 19 touches in the team's first meeting, and I expect him to perform well again this coming week.

3. Christian McCaffrey

CMC is the top fantasy back for some, but I do not like him in a matchup against the Rams.

The last time the teams met, he had just 57 rushing yards on 22 carries, but saved his fantasy day with 82 yards and a score on eight catches and nine targets. I don't see McCaffrey faring that well in this one, but he's still worth a top-three RB ranking.

4. Bijan Robinson

Robinson gets the No. 4 ranking going into a test against the Colts.

With the Colts adding to their secondary, we'll see if Atlanta leans a bit more on the run. Even if they don't, I see Robinson delivering a big fantasy total.

5. Jahmyr Gibbs

Gibbs and the Vikings will look to get back on track against the Commanders in week 10.

Washington is a pretty average fantasy matchup for backs, and I see Gibbs delivering a nice fantasy total in this one in a lopsided game.

6. Josh Jacobs

Jacobs could be even more involved offensively after Tucker Kraft was lost for the season.

Philly is a slightly above-average matchup for Jacobs, so I expect him to keep producing for his fantasy owners.

7. James Cook

I debated putting Cook way higher, but with a couple injury concerns to start the week, he slides to No. 7.

A great matchup against the Dolphins is on tap. He had 118 total yards and a score on 22 touches in the first game against them, and that seems like a good projection for him.

8. Rico Dowdle

Dowdle took the No. 1 RB job away from Chuba Hubbard last week.

An average matchup against the Saints is next, and I expect Dowdle to power the backfield and deliver a nice fantasy score.

9. Kyren Williams

Williams might be leaned on a bit more if Puka Nacua is out, or hampered, by his latest injury.

Williams is already a good weekly starting option, and a pretty average test against the 49ers is another reason to expect a top-10 finish for the Rams' top back.

10. Derrick Henry

Henry is starting to get his fantasy season turned around, and things are looking up with Lamar Jackson back.

A tougher test against the Vikings is next, but it's not too daunting, so you should trust Henry to deliver in week 10.

11. Saquon Barkley

Barkley was injured in his last game, but had the bye week to heal up. His status is still worth watching.

Barkley has a tougher test against the Packers, but that matchup doesn't look as daunting after Dowdle torched them last week.

12. Bucky Irving or Rachaad White

I expected Irving back this week, but he still isn't up to full speed in practice. If he cannot play, White will replace him in the rankings.

They have a tough test against the Patriots, but with the Bucs' offense still lacking proven playmakers, the top back will be a good fantasy asset.

13. D'Andre Swift or Kyle Monangai

Swift missed last week, opening the door for Monangai. Both could deliver in week 10 in a great matchup against the Giants.

New York allows opposing fantasy backs to score 27 points per game, so Swift and Monangai could be worth starting if they are both active.

14. Ashton Jeanty

Jeanty should be more involved after the team traded away Jakobi Meyers. A tough test against the Broncos scares me off Jeanty a bit though.

On volume alone, I still expect the rookie running back to deliver a nice fantasy score.

15. Jaylen Warren

Warren is the top Pittsburgh back still, and has a slightly below-average matchup coming against the Chargers.

LA allows 21 fantasy points per game, so a ranking right in the middle this week makes sense for Warren.

16. Quinshon Judkins

Judkins got banged up in his last game, but also had a bye week to heal up.

A favorable matchup against the Jets is awaiting, so hopefully the rookie can play. Judkins could finish way above this ranking if he finds the end zone a couple times.

17. J.K. Dobbins

Dobbins continues to deliver for his fantasy owners, so let's roll with him here.

He has an above-average test against the Raiders, so he could deliver, even if he doesn't dominate the backfield.

18. Breece Hall

Hall was one of the few Jets who wasn't traded away, so he will still lead the backfield, unless an “injury” pops up.

He has a brutal test against the Browns, but on an offense lacking playmakers, volume alone should help him to a solid fantasy score.

19. David Montgomery

Here's the second fantasy back taken from the Lions.

The matchup against the Commanders is one I expect Detroit to control, and that means Montgomery will get plenty of touches and post a big fantasy score, so I like him starting in a lot of leagues.

20. Travis Etienne

The Jaguars' offense added some help at wide receiver with Meyers, but in a tougher matchup, I think Etienne could lead the offense in week 10.

The Texans are still a tougher test for Etienne, but it's not that far below average, so he should be able to score double-digit fantasy points.

21. RJ Harvey

Harvey has been carving out an offensive role for the Broncos, so he lands the No. 21 spot for me this week.

The above-average matchup against the Raiders should help both Denver backs to average-or-better fantasy scores.

22. Kenneth Walker

I don't really trust the Seattle backfield, especially after they added another pass catcher

With RB options limited this week, we have to include Walker. He has a slightly below-average test against the Cardinals, so I'm just hoping he can post a solid fantasy score.

23. Devin Singletary

Singletary ended up leading the Giants' backfield in the first game without Cam Skattebo.

I like him to lead the charge again in week 10 against the Bears, who are a slightly above-average matchup for a back.

24. Kimani Vidal

Vidal should be the top backfield option for the Chargers again, although Jaret Patterson could steal some work.

A tougher test against the Steelers is why Vidal ranks pretty low this week.

25. Alvin Kamara

Kamara got his wish and is still a Saint. His time as a viable fantasy option seems to be running out though.

An average matchup against the Panthers doesn't sway my thoughts on Kamara - I see him as a flex-level option at best, and someone I'd much rather start in deeper leagues now.

26. Woody Marks

I still like Marks as the top Houston running back. The backfield could take on more if C.J. Stroud misses week 10 with his concussion.

A tough test against the Jaguars is lined up, so that's why the top back ranks closer to No. 30.

27. Aaron Jones Sr.

Jones has led the Minnesota backfield since returning from injury, but now he has another ailment to deal with.

I expect him to play and lead the way again, and in a great matchup against the Ravens, he could end up making my ranking look foolish. If he doesn't play, get Jordan Mason in those starting lineups!

28. TreVeyon Henderson

Henderson helped lead the backfield with Rhamondre Stevenson out last week. I think Henderson leads the way again this week, regardless of who plays.

I like him in a favorable matchup against the Bucs - I just need to see more to rank him higher than this.

29. Jacory Croskey-Merritt

Croskey-Merritt has not stepped up and led the backfield like expected, although the injuries to Jayden Daniels didn't help his cause.

Croskey-Merritt has a tougher test against the Lions this week, so he's really only listed because of injuries around the league and four other teams being on byes - avoid him in standard leagues if you can.

30. Kyle Monangai (even if D'Andre Swift plays)

As the line above says, I like starting Monangai even if Swift plays. If Swift is going to be limited, you could slide Monangai up several spots.

That favorable matchup against the Giants is one to try and take advantage of, especially with a lack of options available.
