Fantasy Football Tight End Rankings for Week 7: Harold Fannin, Mason Taylor, Cade Otton and More
Morgan gives his week 7 fantasy football rankings for tight ends.
We've put together fantasy football rankings for the quarterback and running back spots already, and now are moving on to tight ends.
We'll tackle things from a PPR perspective again. Check back later for the wide receiver rankings for week 7.

1. Trey McBride
McBride is widely-viewed as one of the top fantasy tight ends in the game, and while fifth on a per-game basis so far, I still have him ranked highly every week.
A very favorable matchup against the Packers in week 7 is another reason to trust McBride with a high-end spot, and this week, he's my No. 1 guy.
Ferguson is the top PPR TE on a weekly basis this season, so I'm going to keep rolling with him too.
He has a slightly below-average test against the Commanders, but it's not enough to scare me off using Ferguson.
3. Tyler Warren
Warren has had a nice start to his rookie season, and I expect more good things in week 7.
He too has a tougher matchup against the Raiders, but I'm trusting the results so far and saying Warren delivers again for fantasy owners.
4. Tucker Kraft
Kraft might rely a bit too much on scoring for his fantasy production, but I'm still more than happy to keep rolling him out there every week.
He has a favorable matchup against the Cardinals, so I expect a top-five finish from the Packers' tight end.
5. Travis Kelce
Kelce gets the No. 5 fantasy spot for week 7.
He has a below-average test coming against the Raiders, and with Rashee Rice now back, I'm a bit more skeptical of starting him, but at a weak fantasy spot, I'm trusting the veteran to get the job done.
6. Sam LaPorta
LaPorta has two really good fantasy showings in a row, and I'm all for starting him again in week 7.
His test against the Buccaneers is pretty average, so I could see the Lions' TE posting an above-average fantasy score again.
I fully expect Kittle back on the field for week 7, which is a great thing, especially for his fantasy owners.
However, a brutal matchup against the Falcons has me more down on the veteran TE than normal. With several offensive players banged up though, Kittle should still be a top-10 fantasy finisher at the position.
Goedert is the No. 2 fantasy TE on a weekly basis, so this is even a pretty low ranking.
He has a pretty average matchup, so I expect a top-10 showing from Goedert again.
Waller is the No. 3 fantasy TE on a per-game basis, but has logged just three games.
He's coming off a down performance, but has an average matchup, so I expect him to bounce back.
10. Harold Fannin
I see Fannin as the top Cleveland tight end this weekend.
In a favorable test against the Dolphins, both Cleveland tight ends could be good fantasy assets this week.
11. David Njoku
I'm going with back-to-back Cleveland tight ends and trying Njoku next.
He got banged up in week 6, but is trending toward playing. Watch his status, but I'd expect him and Fannin to both deliver in this favorable test.
12. Mason Taylor
Despite a weak showing in week 6, I have Taylor, and the Jets' offense in general, bouncing back in week 7.
He has a super favorable test against the Panthers, so I'm expecting a bounceback outing from the rookie.
13. Hunter Henry
Henry gets the No. 13 spot despite having a tougher test against the Titans.
He's had a couple lower-output fantasy showings in a row, but I expect him to be a bit better in week 7.
14. Michael Mayer
I expect Brock Bowers to be out again, so Mayer will lead the Raiders' TE room.
He got rolling a bit in week 6, and now has a tougher test against the Chiefs. I expect Mayer to be involved enough to post an average fantasy score still.
15. Cade Otton
Baker Mayfield has to throw the ball to someone, and Otton is the most logical choice in my eyes.
He has a slightly below-average matchup against the Lions, but with the state of the Bucs' offense, I'd still trust Otton in a good amount of fantasy leagues.
16. Zach Ertz
Ertz had a nice showing in week 6, and now has a pretty average matchup looming.
He will face the Cowboys in week 7.
17. T.J. Hockenson
Hockenson has underwhelmed this season, but he's had at least decent numbers in three straight games.
Philly is a tough matchup for a tight end, which is why I'm down on Hockenson a bit.
18. Evan Engram
Engram's usage has been solid, but the fantasy production has still lacked.
In a slightly below-average matchup against the Giants, I have Hockenson as a below-average fantasy asset.
19. Kyle Pitts Sr.
Pitts had been a solid fantasy asset across his first four games before delivering a dud in week 6.
He'll look to bounce back this coming week against the Niners. San Francisco is another slightly below-average matchup, but after last week, I'm lower on Pitts.
20. Dalton Schultz
Schultz has been on the rise as a fantasy asset over the past three games, despite no breakout fantasy outings.
He has the Seahawks in week 7. Seattle is a pretty favorable matchup, so I see him doing fairly well. I just need to see more from him before ranking him any higher.
21. AJ Barner
We are getting deep into the position now, so why not take a guy who has delivered this season?
The only problem is that he's got a tougher matchup against the Texans, so I don't feel great ranking him any higher. Maybe Barner will continue to surprise.
22. Tyler Higbee
Higbee put together his best fantasy performance of the season in week 6, and with Puka Nacua maybe out now, his role could increase in week 7.
He has a below-average matchup against the Jaguars, so that's why he doesn't rank any higher than this.
23. Theo Johnson
Johnson was uninspiring in week 6, which was disappointing after back-to-back nice outings in weeks 4 and 5.
He'll look for another positive fantasy performance in week 7 against the Broncos. Guess what? He's got a very tough matchup coming too, so he falls in my rankings again.
24. Chig Okonkwo
Okonkwo has decent PPR marks over the past two weeks, but hasn't been anything special all season.
He has a pretty average matchup coming against the Patriots, so there's a chance he could surprise this week. I just haven't seen enough from him to trust him with a spot higher than this.
25. Juwan Johnson
Johnson has struggled three weeks in a row, and that strong start to the season seems like a distant memory now.
In an average-or-so matchup against the Bears in week 7, I see Johnson bouncing back a bit, and maybe getting into double digits again.
