Week 6 Fantasy Football Projections and Waiver Wire Options: Rashid Shaheed, Sam Darnold and More
Taking a look at week 6 fantasy football projections to identify some possible waiver wire options.
Let's continue our look at week 6 fantasy football waiver wire options by looking into projections.
We'll only look at players with an own percentage under 90. A lot of these players are owned in most leagues, but on the off chance they are available in your league, and you need some help at a certain spot, these waiver wire options could really be helpful.
Be sure to check out waiver stories for quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers and tight ends, plus FAAB stories for QBs and TEs and RBs and WRs. There's more waiver articles coming too, so keep checking back for more!

Quarterbacks
Tua Tagovailoa is projected for 19 fantasy points in week 6. He's owned in just 34% of fantasy leagues and will be taking on the Chargers this coming week.
Those 19 projected points are tied for the fifth most in the league for week 6, so if you are down a QB or looking for a streamer, the projections say to give Tagovailoa a try.
Brock Purdy is projected for 18 points against the Buccaneers - that number could go up if he's cleared to play from his injury. Purdy is rostered in 81% of leagues right now.
Sam Darnold is another fantasy QB set for 18 points in week 6. He is rostered in 34% of leagues and has a clash against the Jaguars next.
Trevor Lawrence and Aaron Rodgers are among the fantasy QBs set for 17 fantasy points in week 6.
Lawrence has a clash against the Seahawks coming. He's rostered in 37% of leagues.
Rodgers is owned in 20% of fantasy leagues and has a test against the Browns in week 6.
Wide Receivers
Jauan Jennings is projected for 13 PPR points in week 6. He has a matchup against the Bucs, and is rostered in 85% of leagues.
His own percentage and projection should rise a bit if he's cleared to play - he missed week 5 with an injury.
Calvin Ridley is another wideout projected for 13 PPR points in week 6. He has the Raiders in week 6, and is owned in 81% of leagues overall.
Matthew Golden is projected for 12 PPR points coming off the team's bye week. He has a clash against the Bengals, and is set for 12 PPR points in week 6.
Cooper Kupp and Josh Downs are two wideouts who are projected for 11 PPR points.
Kupp is owned in 82% of leagues as he gets ready for a test against the Jaguars. Downs is down at 45% and he prepares for the Cardinals.
Rashid Shaheed, Travis Hunter and Marquise Brown are three wideouts projected for 10 PPR points.
Shaheed is owned in 78% of leagues right now. He will be taking on the Patriots in week 6.
Hunter has the Seahawks in week 6. He's owned in 85% of leagues at the moment.
Brown sits at 65% rostered and has the Lions in week 6.
Running Backs
Tyrone Tracy is projected for 12 PPR points, but he's still working his way back from an injury, and may have lost his lead role to Cam Skattebo. He's only rostered in 61% of leagues, so if you are hurting at RB and he's cleared to play, he could be worth an add.
Jacory Croskey-Merritt is projected for nine PPR points in week 6. He has a test against the Bears and is rostered in 88% of leagues. JCM is coming off his best game yet, so I'm a bit surprised his projection isn't even higher.
Ollie Gordon (39% rostered), Rhamondre Stevenson (88%) and Zach Charbonnet (89%) are all projected for eight PPR points.
Gordon has the Chargers in week 6. Stevenson and the Pats face the Saints, while Charonnet gets the Jaguars.
Tight Ends
David Njoku is projected for 11 PPR points in week 6. He has a test against the Steelers, which is a favorable matchup for a tight end.
If you were wondering, fellow Browns tight end Harold Fannin (38%) is only set for four PPR points.
Dallas Goedert is just below our own threshold (89%). He has a test against the Giants in week 6 and is set for nine PPR points.
Zach Ertz is rostered in 88% of fantasy leagues right now. He too is projected for nine points, but against the Bears.
Evan Engram is another tight end projected for nine PPR points in week 6. He gets a matchup against the Jets in week 6.
