It's time for another mock draft!

This 12-team PPR setup will be conducted from the fourth pick. The roster is as follows: one quarterback, two running backs, three wide receivers, one tight end, one flex, six bench spots and no defense/special teams or kicker spots.

Let's go!

Round 1 - Jahmyr Gibbs

I knew I was going to end up with Ja'Marr Chase, Bijan Robinson, Saquon Barkley or Gibbs, and you really cannot be upset with any of those guys.

Gibbs is a great running back to build around, and a fantastic PPR guy. He has the potential to finish as the top fantasy back, and player overall for that matter.

Round 2 - Kyren Williams

The guys I liked most at his pick were tight ends and quarterbacks, and I wanted to skip those positions until later, so I landed on Williams instead.

Williams has top-10 fantasy back potential and he creates a fantastic 1-2 punch with Gibbs. I can really go after other positions now with two studs already locked down at the position.

Round 3 - Josh Allen

The plan was to wait on quarterbacks and tight ends, but I'm not loving the wide receivers available at this pick, so I'm taking Allen instead.

He's got the potential to be the No. 1 overall fantasy player as well, so I can't really complain. I'm convinced I can find usable wideouts later, so let's take the top-end quarterback now.

Round 4 - Mike Evans

Finally a receiver here in round 4, and it's the reliable Evans.

He's aging, but continues to put up good fantasy numbers. He's a weaker fantasy WR1, but he at least gives me someone to build around.

Round 5 - James Conner

Man oh man has this draft not gone according to plan. I got a third running back in Conner here in round 5, and now I'm really, really set at running back.

Conner will open the season as my flex starting option. The value was just too good to pass on. The only problem is that all three of my backs have week 8 byes, so that's going to be a tough week.

Round 6 - Jerry Jeudy

I get my second wideout here in Jeudy, who again, is not the strongest fantasy WR2.

Jeudy will be the top wideout and pass catcher for the Browns, and I like his outlook more with Joe Flacco throwing to him, even if it's only to start the season. I think Jeudy is a solid draft value at this point.

Round 7 - Stefon Diggs

I can't take risks at the wideout spot while lacking bodies, but I have to take a bit of a gamble on Diggs here.

He is coming off a major injury, but also should be the Patriots' No. 1 receiver. Diggs has weekly starting upside, and as my third wideout, I can live with that - I'll be adding more wideouts soon though.

Round 8 - Matthew Golden

I keep ending up with Golden in all my mock drafts - that just shows how confident I am in the rookie.

He should be the Packers' top wideout right from the start of his NFL career, and even if he isn't, he's a weekly starting option. After landing Golden, I can finally breathe a bit easier when looking at my wide receiver position.

Round 9 - Cam Skattebo

After getting three backs early, I decided to add another body to that room, and give myself a replacement for that big week 8 bye.

Skattebo could turn into a big part of the Giants' offense in time, so why not take a gamble on him here. I got him after his ADP, so I'm pretty pleased with the selection.

Round 10 - Keon Coleman

Coleman had a so-so rookie season, but still has the chance to become the Bills' top wideout.

After punting on the position early, I need to take some swings on high-upside wideouts later. Coleman could turn into a weekly starter, and make other WRs expendable.

Round 11 - Jake Ferguson

I finally got my starting tight end here in round 11 with Ferguson.

He had a down 2024, like a lot of the Cowboys did, but I see a bounceback year for Ferguson and others. I'll likely take another tight end down the stretch to give myself another option, but I'd feel pretty good starting Ferguson weekly, at least to start the season.

Round 12 - Jonnu Smith

Why not just make it back-to-back tight end picks. Smith in the 12th round feels like such a steal.

He's coming off a monster 2024 and is likely to regress in 2025 with the Steelers. There's not many proven pass catchers on the team, so Smith should be pretty involved. He's a good alternative if Ferguson can't cut it. I got him a round or so after his ADP, so the upside outweighed any downside for me.

Round 13 - Braelon Allen

I needed another running back to help me through the bye weeks, and Allen is an intriguing asset with some upside.

I'm not sure the Jets are all in on Breece Hall, and Allen should be next in line for work if Hall fizzles out there. It's a low-risk pick this late, and there's enough upside to stash Allen for a few weeks at least.

Round 14 - Adam Thielen

I decided on one more receiver here with Thielen. I chose him over another running back.

I think Thielen is going really overlooked this season. He was great last season when on the field. Even with Tetairoa McMillan now there to lead the wideout room, I think Thielen could be a decent flex option here and there. For my final pick, I'll take that every time.

Final Thoughts

This mock draft was an absolute whirlwind, but at the end of things, I'm feeling pretty good about things, especially because this is a 12-team setup.

I got a B+ grade from the mock draft simulator here, but I also ranked ninth, so it thinks I'll be struggling a bit this season.

I'm set at quarterback with Josh Allen. If he gets hurt and is out an extended time, I'll just stream at quarterback. An injury to Allen would likely signal the end to my fantasy season though.

Gibbs, Williams and Conner are a heck of a running back trio, and Skattebo and Allen are capable backups. I'm not thrilled that I'll basically be punting week 8 when the top trio is on their byes, but at least I have Skattebo and Allen to plug in.

I'll probably have a couple other RBs by that point that I could turn to, or maybe I'd make a trade eventually to get another back who doesn't have a week 8 bye.

I waited on wide receiver longer than I wanted to, but I'm not super upset with my starting trio of Evans, Jeudy and Diggs. Golden, Coleman and Thielen give me some other options to play with throughout the season.

Evans and Jeudy are both week 9 byes, so that could be back-to-back weeks where I'm really hurting. I usually don't mind drafting several guys with the same bye, but I feel like it could burn me in this setup.

Ferguson and Smith as my tight ends are an underwhelming duo, but they are at least serviceable options. If one of them stands out, I could either trade or drop the other to look for help at running back or wide receiver for those bigger bye weeks.

It's not my favorite mock draft, but I think this team could at least contend for a playoff spot. I'm going to be relying heavily on Allen, Gibbs and Williams to power my team, and then I'll likely need at least two of my receivers to be above-average weekly options to have a chance at a playoff run.
