Morgan conducts his fifth fantasy football draft of the year, selecting sixth in a 12-team PPR setup.

It's time for another fantasy football mock draft!

This time, we'll put ourselves in a 12-team PPR setup to widen the player field a bit. I'm going to be picking sixth.

We'll change the roster setup to: one quarterback, two running backs, three wide receivers, one tight end and one flex spot, with seven bench spots.

Round 1 - Justin Jefferson

I got Jefferson in my last mock draft at the fifth slot, so I'm even happier to get him in the sixth slot.

He is dealing with an early-season injury, but I'm hopeful and confident that Jefferson will be ready for the regular season. Some are down on him with a new QB throwing to him, but Jefferson is going to deliver big numbers with anyone, so don't worry about that.

Especially with Jordan Addison now out a couple games, Jefferson should really put up monster numbers early, and throughout the season.

Round 2 - Jonathan Taylor

I had a chance to take Bucky Irving, but after getting him after Jefferson in the last mock, I wanted to switch things up more, so I took Taylor instead.

When healthy, Taylor can be an elite fantasy back. He should star in this year's Colts' offense with no great quarterback in place. Drafting Taylor is always a bit of a risk because of the injury concerns, but his upside is high and he could help power a fantasy team to greatness, so I like him here in round 2.

Round 3 - Tyreek Hill

I think Hill is a major sleeper pick in round 3 or 4, depending on your fantasy setup.

He's coming off a down season, but a lot was working against Hill last season. Hill is still the go-to receiver in this offense, and fully healthy now, I expect Hill to get back to being a top-end fantasy wideout - if he does, the sky is the limit for this fantasy team.

Round 4 - James Conner

I liked a lot of players at this pick, but went with Conner to add a second back to my team.

Conner delivered great numbers last season, and I think he's got another big year in him. Even if he regresses a bit, he's a good weekly starting option. A safe pick with a good fantasy floor and pretty high fantasy ceiling.

Round 5 - Sam LaPorta

I didn't like the options available in round 5, so I'm reaching a touch to get LaPorta.

I'm a big fan of LaPorta this season, and see him bouncing back from last year's down performance. If he performs how I expect him too, then my reach turns into a good fantasy gamble, and possibly great value pick.

Round 6 - Isiah Pacheco

I love the value of Pacheco here in the sixth.

His fantasy value is down after missing a lot of last season. Pacheco is still the clear lead back in KC, and he should deliver good enough numbers weekly to be a flex starting option for me. It never hurts to have options at RB.

Round 7 - Cooper Kupp

I might be reaching a touch with Kupp here, but I didn't like the value of many of the other guys near the top of the draft list.

Kupp should put up good numbers in a secondary role with the Seahawks. I'm just hoping to have him be a flex starting option, even though I draft him into a starting spot to start.

Round 8 - Brock Purdy

I wasn't planning on taking a quarterback early in this mock (and I guess I didn't), but I think Purdy is capable of being a weekly starter, so he's worth a pick in round 8 in my eyes.

I expect him and the Niners' offense to bounce back in 2025, and for Purdy to be in contention for a top-10 QB spot by the end of the season. I'll get another QB eventually, but Purdy should be my guy more often than not.

Round 9 - Matthew Golden

I'm still surprised to see Golden's ADP near its current mark. Getting him in round 9 feels like a steal already.

I have high hopes for the rookie and think he'll lead a stacked Packers' pass-catching group. He has weekly starting upside, and at the very least, should be a flex option.

Round 10 - Austin Ekeler

I needed some more running back depth, so why not add a PPR asset in Ekeler?

He'll remain involved with the Commanders this season, even though he's starting to fade a bit. Ekeler has flex starting potential, and could take on a weekly starting role if he ever takes over as the team's lead back.

Round 11 - Jayden Higgins

At this point of a deeper draft, I want to take guys who can help out early in the season. In other words, guys who are likely to hold bigger roles.

Higgins looks like he'll start right away in his rookie season. He'll play second fiddle to Nico Collins, but could be the No. 2 option in a pretty good offense. Higgins could become a weekly starter, at a flex or wide receiver position.

Round 12 - Jordan Love

I felt like here was a good spot to add a second quarterback, and Love was my choice.

I think Love could really surprise this season. He was injured last season and didn't play up to the level that he can. With more offensive weapons in place, Love could end up being a top-10 QB, and my weekly starter over Purdy.

Round 13 - Hunter Henry

Another tight end option just in case LaPorta gets injured.

Henry is pretty underrated in my eyes, and could end up being a flex option here and there if he remains involved for the new-look Patriots' offense. A low-risk pick, with a solid floor, but not a super high ceiling.

Round 14 - Romeo Doubs

Another Packer here, but I felt Doubs' had the best upside of any player available.

With no clear No. 1 wideout in Green Bay for now, it's worth gambling on Doubs. This is a very low-risk pick, and he could be dropped if he is inconsistent, or become a trade chip if he consistently contributes.

Round 15 - Raheem Mostert

I needed some more running back options, so I decided to take a gamble on Mostert.

He's the second back for the Raiders, and isn't likely to be super involved with Ashton Jeanty leading the charge, but Mostert could still carve out a role for this offense and be startable in the right matchups. He's also the handcuff to Jeanty, so stashing him isn't the worst idea.

Round 16 - Miles Sanders

Another lottery pick here with Sanders, who looks like he's the backup for the Cowboys right now.

I think it could be more of a committee between him, Javonte Williams and Jaydon Blue, so I'm gambling that Sanders ends up leading the way. If he doesn't, I just drop him, otherwise I get an occasional flex option with some trade potential.

Final Thoughts

It's hard to leave these deeper mock drafts with as good of a feeling as I do in the 10-team setups, but I'm pretty pleased with the result here.

I got graded out as an A+, so our draft tool agrees with my line of thinking.

I'm set at quarterback with Purdy and Love, and could also stream guys if those two don't pan out.

Taylor and Conner are two weekly starters at running back, and having Pacheco as a third option makes me feel good at that position. My depth with Ekeler, Mostert and Sanders is a bit suspect, so I might have to trade other positions of strength if my top guys are banged up.

Jefferson and Hill is a fun 1-2 wideout combo, and adding Kupp on top of them gives me a solid floor and high ceiling. Golden, Higgins and Doubs are more-than-capable backup options, and could make this my position of strength that I end up trading from.

LaPorta is a good/great weekly option, and Henry gives me a streaming option if he doesn't pan out. If LaPorta goes down for an extended period, I feel like that's where my fantasy season could be derailed.

Overall, I'm a fan of this team. It might not be super flashy, but if healthy, I like my chances of contending.
