4 Hot Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire Hitters Worth Adding Wednesday

These four waiver wire hitters are swinging hot bats and could help fantasy teams in need of offense.

Let's look into some fantasy baseball waiver wire/streaming hitting targets for Wednesday!

Here are our hitting articles from Monday and Tuesday, plus a starting pitcher streaming article for Wednesday.

Fantasy baseball waiver wire options can be found all season on FantasySP! The Fantasy Sports Assistant now can answer questions you have after doing team breakdowns or waiver wire analysis!

Luis Robert Jr. - New York Mets

Robert has risen 3.61% today, and now is rostered in 38.54% of fantasy baseball leagues overall.

He homered among his two hits and walked once on Monday. Robert has a four-game hitting streak going now - over that stretch, he has three homers and a double among his six knocks, plus four RBIs and runs scored, four walks and three strikeouts.

Robert has a .232 average and .313 on-base percentage over 53 games played and 201 plate appearances in 2026. He has 10 home runs and four doubles among his 41 total knocks, plus 23 RBIs and runs scored, 22 walks, two stolen bases and 48 strikeouts.

It's been a disappointing fantasy season for him again, with injuries playing a big part in that. He's performing well of late though, so he's worth more fantasy ownership/utilization.

I like him best in deeper leagues, and think he should be added in a lot of those leagues right now. I'd stop short of adding him in standard leagues, but if he keeps delivering at the plate, he could be worth streaming until he cools off a bit.

Daylen Lile - Washington Nationals

Lile is rostered in 76.08% of leagues at the moment. He was at 73.08% three days ago, so he's trending up slightly.

He homered among his two hits and also walked once on Monday. Lile now has six hits over a three-game hitting streak. He has two homers and two doubles among the hits in that stretch, plus six RBIs, four runs scored, two walks, a stolen base and just one strikeout.

Lile now sits with a .249 average and .297 OBP over 132 contests and 548 plate appearances this season. He has 126 total hits, including 25 doubles, 17 home runs and five triples, plus 72 RBIs, 67 runs scored, 13 stolen bases, 31 walks and 106 strikeouts.

The outfielder has been up and down all season, so he's often been a waiver wire add, and then a few days later, appears on a drop story. He's worth streaming in more leagues when his bat is hot, like it is now.

Lile should be rostered/utilized in all deeper leagues, and he's working back into more standard leagues again. Definitely consider him in standard leagues if you need some outfield help, but don't be afraid to drop him after he cools off a bit.

Tristan Peters - Chicago White Sox

Peters has been added in 1.97% of leagues, and that brings his overall mark to 12.02%.

Peters is riding a four-game hitting streak right now. He has a homer in each of those games, plus a double, among seven total knocks. Peters has seven RBIs, five runs scored, three walks, a stolen base and three strikeouts in that span.

Over 127 games and 396 plate appearances for the season, Peters has a .277 average and .342 OBP. He's up to 11 homers, 26 doubles and three triples among his 98 total hits, plus has 50 RBIs, 51 runs scored, 31 walks, seven stolen bases and 72 strikeouts.

The outfielder is delivering big at the plate of late, and while the home run binge won't continue forever, he's worth adding and utilizing while he's this hot at the plate. Those needing outfield help in deeper leagues should heavily consider Peters. With his home run rate of late, he's not a bad standard league streaming option either.

Mickey Gasper - Boston Red Sox

Gasper is owned in 13.4% of fantasy leagues - he was at 5.31% just two days ago.

Gasper is on a four-game hitting streak going into Wednesday. He had two homers and two walks on Tuesday, and had a double in each of the three previous games. Gasper has four RBIs, three runs scored, four walks and no strikeouts over that four-game stretch.

He's also on the rise with Adley Rutschman battling an injury. Gasper primarily catches, which is where Rutschman usually starts, but Gasper's hot-hitting ways has allowed him to get starts as the designated hitter, and a couple appearances at first base. That bumps his fantasy value up a little bit more.

Over 42 games and 148 plate appearances this season, Gasper has a .281 average and .367 OBP. He has eight doubles, five homers and a triple among his 36 total knocks, plus 19 RBIs, 17 runs scored, 15 walks and just 22 strikeouts.

Gasper is just a deep-league fantasy asset, unless Rutschman were to land on the injured list and be out a couple weeks. Gasper is worth some pickups and utilization in deeper leagues until his bat cools a bit.
