Jo Adell - Cleveland Guardians

Adell has risen 3.84% already today, and he now sits at 64.9% overall.

He has three two-hit games in a row. Among the six hits in that span, Adell has a double and a home run. He's also posted six RBIs, two runs scored and four strikeouts in that stretch.

Adell has improved since being traded from the Angels to the Guardians at the deadline. Over 17 games and 70 plate appearances, the outfielder has a .258 average and .329 on-base percentage. He's got five doubles and four homers among his 16 total hits with Cleveland, while also tallying 17 RBIs, eight runs scored, five walks and 21 strikeouts.

Over 128 games and 526 plate appearances for the season, Adell has a .241 average and .293 OBP. He's posted 21 doubles, 20 homers and a triple among his 117 total hits, plus 79 RBIs, 54 runs scored, 21 walks, three stolen bases and 129 strikeouts.

Adell strikes out a bunch, but with slugging numbers, he can be a decent fantasy asset, especially in hot stretches at the plate. He's in a hot stretch now, and is worth utilizing in more fantasy leagues as a result. Add him in any deeper leagues he's available in, and also consider him in some standard leagues, especially if you have a need for some outfield help.

Spencer Jones - New York Yankees 

Jones has been added in 4.33% of fantasy leagues - he's at 30.29% overall now.

Jones had two hits on Sunday, which continues a pretty hot stretch of play overall. Since August 12, which spans 11 games and 42 plate appearances, Jones has a .308 average and .357 OBP.

In his first big league season, Jones owns a .233 average and .315 OBP over 57 contests and 178 plate appearances. He has eight doubles, seven homers and a triple among his 37 total hits, plus 22 RBIs, 20 runs scored, 18 walks, eight stolen bases and 64 strikeouts.

He's settled in more with steady playing time of late for New York. That could change now with Cody Bellinger back, and when Aaron Judge is back in the mix, but Jones is worth utilizing as long as he's playing daily.

He's worth more and more deep-league fantasy adds as the days pass. At least stream him while his bat is a bit hotter. 

He's one to keep tabs on too, as he could be a standard league possibility if he keeps things up for a week or longer.

Tim Tawa - Arizona Diamondbacks

Tawa is up 4.73% today, which brings his overall mark to 21.08%.

Tawa has three two-hit games in a row. He has a homer and double among the hits, plus three RBIs and runs scored, a walk, a stolen base and no strikeouts.

He's played in 74 games this season, getting 238 plate appearances. Tawa has a .250 average and .302 OBP, plus 32 RBIs, 26 runs scored, 17 walks, seven stolen bases and 53 strikeouts. Among his 53 total hits, he has 10 doubles and eight home runs.

Tawa can play all over the field, so that adds fantasy value to his name. He's a sneaky-good fantasy asset in deeper leagues, especially now as his bat is hotter. 

I don't see him staying hot for super long, but if he does, he could also work into standard leagues, so don't lose track of Tawa.

Nick Sogard - Boston Red Sox

Sogard is up 6.25% and sits at 14.9% overall now.

He comes into a new week riding a six-game hitting streak. Sogard has 11 hits over that span, and that includes four doubles and two homers. He also has four RBIs, eight runs scored, six walks and three strikeouts in that stretch.

Sogard has logged just 35 games in the big leagues this season, but he has a .287 average and .401 OBP over 150 plate appearances. He has nine doubles, two homers and a triple among his 35 total knocks, plus nine RBIs, 20 runs scored, 24 walks and 25 strikeouts.

He can also play a few different positions, which makes him more valuable in the fantasy baseball world. Give him some consideration now before his bat cools off. Again, I don't see him sneaking into standard leagues, but he could be worth some pickups if he stays hot, so don't lose track of him.
