Kazuma Okamoto - Toronto Blue Jays
Okamoto is rostered in about 84% of fantasy baseball leagues right now. He's being let go in a few leagues as he deals with a knee injury though.
He has a left knee contusion and was scratched from Monday's lineup. Okamoto is considered day-to-day at this point, but his status is now one to keep tabs on.
Okamoto has a .225 average and .299 on-base percentage over 116 games and 475 plate appearances in his first season in the big leagues. He has 24 homers and 15 doubles among his 96 hits, plus 70 RBIs, 61 runs scored, 40 walks, a stolen base and 148 strikeouts.
He's been a pretty solid fantasy asset, despite a lower average/OBP. Okamoto is a primary third baseman, but could also be eligible at first base, which would up his fantasy value some more. Okamoto is droppable in standard leagues, especially if you need his roster spot to be producing daily right now - be ready to add him back when he's back in the lineup again.
Devin Williams - New York Mets
Williams is also being let go because of an injury - he sits at about 69% owned and will continue to be dropped after hitting the 15-day injured list with a right shoulder strain.
He struggled in his two outings before hitting the IL, allowing three runs on five hits and a walk over two innings. Williams now has a 4.66 earned run average in his first year with the Mets.
Williams has appeared in 42 games and is 3-2 with 16 saves and three blown saves. Along with his poor ERA, he has 51 strikeouts over 38 2/3 innings pitched.
Williams is droppable in standard leagues if you don't have the space to stash him in an IR spot. He's just not pitching well enough to hold through the length of the injury, which is expected to be right around 15 days. Hold him in deeper leagues if you can, but some might need to part ways with him in those leagues too.
Teoscar Hernandez - Los Angeles Dodgers
Hernandez is rostered in about 79% of leagues at the moment, but he's starting to trend down a bit.
He has just one hit over his past six contests. Over 17 plate appearances in that span, he has no RBIs or runs scored, no walks and seven strikeouts. That's just not good enough to hold him in all leagues.
Over 84 games and 327 plate appearances overall, Hernandez has a .247 average and .312 OBP. Hernandez has 12 doubles, 11 homers, 73 total hits, 41 RBIs, 47 runs scored, 27 walks, two stolen bases and 88 strikeouts.
He's underwhelmed this season, and between poor numbers at the plate and missing time, Hernandez has been a draft bust. He's droppable now in some standard leagues. I'd keep holding him in deeper leagues, and some standard leagues where you are desperate for a fantasy outfielder, but if there's a better waiver wire option out there, don't be afraid to cut Hernandez loose.
Trevor Rogers - Baltimore Orioles
Rogers is sitting near 83% owned right now. He's mostly been on the rise over the past month, but is now starting to dip a bit.
He only allowed two runs in his last start, but lasted just four innings. Rogers pitched pretty well in the start before that, but allowed seven runs (four earned) in the outing before that, so that's two poor showings over his past three appearances.
Rogers has made 22 starts so far in 2026. He's 7-8 with a 4.21 ERA over 119 2/3 innings. He has 102 strikeouts to his name.
Rogers has had some ups and downs this season, and has been an inconsistent fantasy performer as a result. That makes him a better standard league streaming option right now, not a starting pitcher to hold through ups and downs. Don't be afraid to let him go.
Kyle Stowers - Miami Marlins
Stowers is another player dealing with an injury - he has a hamstring ailment. He's sitting near 68% rostered right now.
There's no definitive timetable out there regarding Stowers. Treat him as day-to-day for now, but if he's placed on the 10-day IL, he'll be an even bigger drop candidate.
Stowers has a .242 average and .327 OBP over 94 games and 399 plate appearances this season. He's got 85 total hits, 21 doubles, 16 homers and four triples, plus 52 RBIs, 44 runs scored, 38 walks, a stolen base and 125 strikeouts.
He's underwhelmed a bit this season between worse results on the field and some missed time. Stowers can play first base or the outfield, which are two loaded fantasy spots. That should make it easier to drop him, especially if he hits the IL eventually. Don't be afraid to let him go, as there's a number of other options out there to try instead.
