Let's dive back into fantasy baseball coverage and look at some players trending up and down of late. We will focus on sell-high and buy-low trade candidates.
We will look at stats over the past two weeks to come up with our players. We will look at sell-high candidates first - check back later for the buy-low article.

Hitters
Luis Garcia Jr. - Washington Nationals
Garcia has the top average in the league among qualified hitters over the timeframe we are using. He has a .444 average after collecting 20 hits over 45 at-bats and 48 plate appearances.
He has seven homers and four doubles among the hits. Garcia has 19 RBIs, 11 runs scored, three walks, two stolen bases and five strikeouts.
Garcia was a waiver wire add a couple weeks ago, and now sits at about 94% rostered overall. He might not be a huge trade option in standard leagues, but he's red hot and there's desperate enough fantasy owners out there to make him a trade option in any league.
I'd definitely be looking into selling Garcia high, as he's bound to at least regress a good bit from his past couple weeks. Make the move before it's too late.
Otto Lopez - Miami Marlins
Lopez has 20 hits over the past couple weeks as well. He has a .377 average over his 53 at-bats and 57 plate appearances.
Lopez has five doubles and three triples and homers among the hits. He has 10 runs scored and RBIs, plus three walks, a stolen base and just four strikeouts.
Lopez has been a really good fantasy asset most of the season, but is still a sell-high candidate now after red-hot hitting of late. I'd only make that move if you have another good fantasy shortstop to utilize though.
Lopez is likely to regress as the season goes along - he definitely will regress from his production the past couple weeks. That makes now a time to cash in high on the Marlins' infielder.
Junior Caminero - Tampa Bay Rays
Caminero has 15 hits over the past couple weeks, and 11 of those are home runs. He has a .268 average over 56 at-bats and 61 plate appearances in that stretch.
Caminero has 20 RBIs, 12 runs scored, four walks and 13 strikeouts in that span as well. He has also stolen a base.
Caminero was a high-end fantasy hitter coming into the season, and has been even better than expected. He's not going to keep homering at this pace, so now would be a time to sell really high on the Rays' young superstar.
The only way I'm parting with Caminero is if my team was lacking big time at other positions. Caminero is just producing too well to part with for anything other than a king's ransom. So only move on from Caminero if he can add value at a couple other spots, and take your team from so-so to above average.
Pitchers
Jake Bennett and Sonny Gray - Boston Red Sox
Bennett and Gray have been two of the best pitchers over the past couple weeks.
Bennett has a 1.29 earned run average over 21 innings. He has made three starts in that stretch, and has won each game. Bennett has allowed three runs on 12 hits and three walks, while striking out 13 along the way.
Bennett's fantasy ownership mark has soared over that span, and he's up to 77% today. That makes him a better deep-league trade asset, but those desperate for pitching might want to acquire him in standard leagues. See if you can flip Bennett for a more established arm, as the young hurler is bound to regress going forward.
Gray has allowed just one run over his past two starts. He has covered 13 1/3 innings, and has 16 strikeouts over that stretch. Gray has given up only five hits and three walks as well.
Gray has been really good most of the season, and could be on the trade block if the Red Sox decide to sell at the trade deadline. Even if he sticks with Boston, there's a lot of reasons to want Gray on your fantasy squad.
He will regress from his past couple starts over time though, so it's a time to sell him high. At least float his name out there, especially if you are stacked with pitching and can afford to move some guys around.
Dylan Cease - Toronto Blue Jays
Cease nearly threw a no-hitter a couple days ago. He is 2-1 with a 1.83 ERA over his past three starts now.
He has allowed just four runs on eight hits and nine walks. The walk number is high, but 30 strikeouts more than make up for that.
Cease is a high-end fantasy pitcher, and is trending up right now. He's worth throwing on the trade block, as some would pay big to acquire him. Make sure you are getting a great return, because you are parting with a high-level fantasy arm.
Foster Griffin - Washington Nationals
Griffin has allowed just two earned runs over his past three starts. He's 2-0 and has covered 19 innings in that stretch.
He has given up three runs total on 12 hits and three walks. Griffin has 20 punchouts in those three outings.
Griffin has been a fantasy surprise this season. He's close to 100% owned finally, and had been overlooked for far too long this season.
He's bound to regress after the All-Star break, so it's worth looking into selling him high now. Griffin might net you a pretty strong return, so at least consider the move, as he's a good trade option in all leagues now.
