It's time to break down the final week 3 regular season game of the 2025 season.

The Detroit Lions earned a 38-30 win over the Baltimore Ravens. Let's look at some fantasy football takeaways from that contest.

Also be sure to check out the takeaway story from games on Sunday and Thursday, plus the IDP roundup from Sunday's games.

Andrews Gets Rolling

After two bad fantasy showings in the first two weeks, Baltimore tight end Mark Andrews finally had a positive fantasy outing.

It was a monster fantasy performance, as he went for 91 yards and two scores on six catches and targets.

This will ease the mind of the fantasy owners who drafted and have been holding him. He'll be a better starting option going into week 4.

One complication is that Isaiah Likely could also be back, so Andrews could lose some fantasy production to him. If there were ever a time to sell high on Andrews, now would be that time.

Montgomery Erupts

Jahmyr Gibbs led the Detroit backfield in touches, but it was David Montgomery who had the bigger fantasy showing.

Montgomery broke off a 72-yard run on his way to 151 rushing yards. He scored twice across his 12 attempts. He also caught his lone target for 13 more yards.

Gibbs rushed 22 times for 67 yards and two scores, while catching five of his six targets for an additional 32 yards.

Gibbs remains a top-end fantasy option, but after back-to-back good fantasy showings, Montgomery is now a really solid weekly starting option. The Lions' offense has found their footing after a slow week 1, making Montgomery and Gibbs both weekly starting options again.

History says that both backs can remain heavily involved, and good fantasy options, so I'd be more inclined to keep Montgomery than to look to sell him high - unless you can land a consistent RB1 for a team in return.

Henry Held in Check Again

For a second straight week, Derrick Henry hasn't delivered a monster fantasy showing.

This week, he rushed for just 50 yards, but he did score a touchdown across his 12 carries to deliver a good fantasy score. He added a seven-yard reception on his lone target. Henry also fumbled once.

Henry was stellar in week 1, but hasn't been a big part of the offense in the two weeks since. I'm not sure if the team is looking to manage his workload or what, but it's a bit concerning if he can't even get to 15 touches.

I'd be happy to buy a bit lower on Henry, but just know these lower output games could continue for a bit longer.

Bateman Finally Shines

Rashod Bateman was a good fantasy asset pretty often during the 2024 NFL season, but had struggled through the first two weeks.

He delivered a good fantasy showing in week 3, catching five of his seven targets for 63 yards and a score.

He should settle in as the team's No. 2 wideout, but having to also deal with DeAndre Hopkins, Andrews and Likely could mean more lackluster performances are coming for Bateman.

Bateman should at least be added in deeper fantasy leagues, and in a pinch, or a good matchup, could be streamed in standard leagues.

Other Baltimore Offensive Players

Lamar Jackson was pretty good in the losing effort.

He threw for 288 yards and three scores, while avoiding an interception across 27 passing attempts. He rushed for 35 yards on seven carries, but was sacked seven times. Jackson remains a top-end fantasy option, especially while the Ravens continue to only give Henry so many touches.

Outside Andrews and Bateman, no other Ravens' pass catcher had over 50 yards.

Justice Hill went for 45 yards on three grabs and four targets. Devontez Walker caught a 34-yard pass on his lone target.

Hopkins only had a 13-yard catch across two targets. No. 1 wideout Zay Flowers only got three targets, catching two for 13 yards.

The performance for Flowers was shocking, as he'd been stellar through two weeks. His sky high fantasy value took a big hit this week, and now he's back closer to where he started the season. If you believe this week was an outlier, buying Flowers low should be done now.

Other Detroit Offensive Players

Quarterback Jared Goff had a nice outing in the winning effort. He threw for 202 yards and a score on 20-of-28 passing, while avoiding a pick. Goff rushed four times for six yards.

Goff's fantasy score was limited because he lost four scores to running backs, but he still looked good and delivered a solid fantasy total. He remains a pretty good starting option going into week 4.

Amon-Ra St. Brown led pass catchers with 77 yards and a score on seven grabs and eight targets. He is the one constant in the Lions' passing game.

Jameson Williams had 43 yards on two grabs and three targets. It was an underwhelming performance for Williams, who looks like a standard league flex option at best right now. I'd see what kind of offers floated in for him to see if I could add a skill player with a bit more consistent role.

Tight end Sam LaPorta had a so-so showing, going for just 33 yards, but on four catches and targets. He's had back-to-back subpar showings, and his fantasy value will keep dropping until he starts producing more. I wouldn't say he's a locked-in fantasy starter at this point.

IDP and Kicker Stats

Baltimore's Kyle Hamilton had nine tackles to lead both teams. He continues to be a very good weekly IDP option, and should be owned in most setups.

Jack Campbell led Detroit with eight tackles. He also had a sack. Campbell is emerging as a good weekly IDP option, and maybe is a touch underrated right now.

Baltimore's John Jenkins, Teddye Buchanan and Malaki Starks all finished with eight tackles. Jenkins and Starks each had a tackle for loss amongst their tackles.

Jenkins' performance looks like an outlier, as he has just nine tackles on the season now. Buchanan has 18 tackles overall, so he's quietly emerged as a solid IDP option. Starks has 22 tackles so far, and has proved the early-season hype right.

Roquan Smith had a TFL and QB hit amongst his seven tackles for Baltimore. He's another really good IDP option on the Baltimore defense.

Derrick Barnes finished with seven tackles for Detroit. He had a sack amongst those tackles. Barnes is up to 19 tackles on the season, showing he's a pretty good IDP option every week.

Detroit's Brian Branch had six tackles and a pass defensed. He's another quality IDP option for fantasy owners.

Al-Quadin Muhammad had 2.5 sacks and three QB hits among his four tackles. Alex Anzalone had half a sack among his four tackles, while Trevor Nowaske and Aidan Hutchinson had a sack each among their two tackles.

Muhammad's performance stands out for sure. He now has eight tackles and 3.5 sacks over the past two weeks, so he could be emerging as a good IDP option on the d-line.

Baltimore kicker Tyler Loop made a 41-yard field goal and all three of his extra points. He's been perfect on his field goals and has just one missed extra point through three weeks. Loop will remain a good fantasy kicker option on this high-powered offense.

Jake Bates made a 45-yard field goal and missed from 67 yards. He made all five of his extra points. Bates is now 4-of-6 on field goals and perfect on 13 extra point tries. He also is a good fantasy option because he's on a high-powered offense.
