Sunday's games for week 3 of the regular season are in the books.

Let's go over some of the top fantasy football performances and takeaways from the day before we wrap up the week.

Check out fantasy football waiver wire targets all season on FantasySP.

Tucker Stands Out

The Raiders lost big to the Commanders, but that didn't stop Tre Tucker from going off.

He rushed once for four yards and then caught eight of his nine targets for 145 yards. Tucker turned a good fantasy showing into a stellar one with three touchdown grabs.

The performance was out of nowhere, as Tucker had just 66 yards and a score on five catches and 11 targets coming into the game. He easily was the team's best offensive player, outperforming the likes of Ashton Jeanty, Brock Bowers and Jakobi Meyers.

That's not going to happen every week, but Tucker is absolutely going to be a waiver wire target going into week 4, and that goes for all leagues. I think he'll be a better deep-league starting asset, but standard league owners lacking wide receivers could also consider him in the weeks to come.

Williams Finally Shows Up

Caleb Williams had a favorable matchup against the Cowboys in week 3, and he took advantage of things and finally looked like a legit fantasy asset.

He completed 19 of his 28 passes for 298 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions. Williams added 12 rushing yards on five carries.

Williams struggled in the first two weeks of the season, with just three combined passing scores and a pick, while completing under 65% of his passes in both games.

The standout performance against a weaker opponent was a step in the right direction, but fantasy owners are still going to want to see him produce against a good defense before he's trusted in all fantasy formats.

He's at least an option in all fantasy leagues again.

Henry is Top Pats' Pass Catcher Again

Hunter Henry delivered a big-time fantasy showing despite the Patriots losing to the Steelers on Sunday.

The New England tight end caught eight of his 11 targets for 90 yards. Henry scored twice to really drive up his fantasy score.

Henry was also good back in week 1, catching half of his eight targets for 66 yards. He regressed to just a nine-yard catch across three targets in week 2, so there's some inconsistency issues fantasy owners have to deal with.

Still, with two good fantasy showings already, Henry is emerging as a pretty solid weekly fantasy option. We aren't ready to trust him fully, but if you can afford to take some gambles with your lineup, getting Henry in there gives your lineup a chance to really have a good week if he can keep delivering here and there.

Hampton Takes Off

Omarion Hampton struggled in the first few weeks of the season, but he finally lived up to the early-season hype in week 3.

He rushed for 70 yards on 19 carries, and also scored on the ground. Hampton had 59 receiving yards on six catches and seven targets.

Hampton had just 72 rushing yards on 23 attempts and 14 receiving yards on three catches and four targets coming into the week, so this was truly a breakout game for him. This is what fantasy owners were hoping to see from him.

Najee Harris suffered a non-contact injury, and the Achilles issue looks like it could end his season. That means the backfield truly belongs to Hampton now. Expect another back to filter in here and there, but Hampton is going to dominate the backfield touches the rest of the way now.

Get him in those starting lineups moving forward and expect more good fantasy showings down the road.

Skattebo and Dart Time?

The New York Giants were toppled by the Chiefs on Sunday night, and we might get a look at the future going forward after the Giants fell to 0-3.

Tyrone Tracy suffered a shoulder injury and missed a good chunk of the game. Rookie back Cam Skattebo took advantage, rushing 10 times for 60 yards and a score, while catching six of his eight targets for 61 more yards.

Skattebo ended up playing 59% of the team's offensive snaps, and he could take over the backfield lead, especially if Tracy is out moving forward. Skattebo should be added in all the fantasy leagues where he's currently available.

Quarterback Russell Wilson played all but three offensive snaps, but he came crashing back to earth after a great week 2 performance. He was 18-of-32 passing for 160 yards, no scores and two interceptions. Wilson rushed five times for 27 yards and was sacked twice.

Wilson was never going to replicate the numbers he delivered in week 2, and his poor performance means that rookie Jaxson Dart is likely going to get a look sooner rather than later.

In dynasty/keeper leagues, Dart needs to be rostered. He should have been already, but with his time as a potential starter closing in, he definitely needs to be now.

In super deep redraft leagues, Dart is also worth a pickup now. It's only a matter of time before he takes the starting role, and you can just stash him on your bench until that happens. I'd definitely make that move if Wilson was one of my starting options.

Mason Delivers in Lead Role

With Aaron Jones Sr. out, Jordan Mason was expected to take over the lead back role in Minnesota. He took advantage of a nice matchup against the Bengals and delivered a huge fantasy performance.

He rushed for 116 yards and two scores on 16 carries in the Vikings' thrashing of the Bengals. Mason was not targeted in the passing game.

Mason could have had an even bigger showing if the game was a bit closer. He's likely to dominate the backfield work until Jones is back, and this performance should give everyone enough reason to justify starting him in all fantasy formats.

We'll see just how highly Mason ranks for the team's next game.

Backup QBs Experience Mixed Results

Backup quarterbacks were all over the fields on Sunday.

The Bengals, Vikings game featured two backup quarterbacks going at it.

Carson Wentz was 14-of-20 passing for 173 yards, two scores and no picks. He rushed for four yards on two carries. Cincy's Jake Browning was 19-of-27 passing for 140 yards, a touchdown and two picks, while rushing once for two yards.

Wentz was stellar, and could have had a much bigger game if the Vikings weren't trouncing the Bengals. Meanwhile, Browning struggled with turnovers for a second straight week - you wonder if Cincy will stick with Browning, or bring in some outside help to try and salvage the season.

Tyrod Taylor started for the injured Justin Fields in New York. The Jets nearly upset the Buccaneers, with Taylor playing so-so.

Taylor was 26-of-36 passing for 197 yards, two scores and one interception. He rushed eight times for 48 yards, and also lost a fumble.

Taylor wasn't the best, but he did enough to keep New York in the game. If Fields cannot go for the team's next game, or sometime later in the season, Taylor is a decent streaming option in deeper leagues, at least.

Marcus Mariota started for the Commanders and helped the team to a big win.

He was 15-of-21 passing for 207 yards, a touchdown and no interceptions. Mariota rushed for 40 yards and a score on six carries, but also lost a fumble.

Mariota filled in admirably for Jayden Daniels, and gave the team a little wiggle room in case Daniels needed to miss more games. Mariota will be a decent streaming option if he gets more starts this season.

Mac Jones made another start for Brock Purdy and helped the Niners edge the Cardinals.

Jones was 27-of-41 passing for 284 yards, a score and an interception. He lost a yard on his lone rushing attempt, a kneeldown.

Jones has done enough in his two starts to be trusted in some fantasy leagues if he starts again for Purdy moving forward. It'll still need to be a good fantasy matchup to try him in though.
