Top Tacklers
New England's Robert Spillane and Chicago's Tremaine Edmunds had 15 tackles each on Sunday.
Spillane also intercepted a pass to turn a good fantasy day into a great one. He has just 21 total tackles on the season, so week 3 was an outlier. It's hard to ignore him after this showing though.
Edmunds had two interceptions to deliver a monster IDP performance. He has 29 tackles now on the season, so he's been a good fantasy option, and showed his high upside this week.
Chiefs' Nick Bolton and Packers' Quay Walker had 14 tackles each.
Bolton also had a pass defensed in the team's win on Sunday night. He has 28 tackles now on the season, showing he's a good IDP option and can turn into a top-end option some weeks.
Walker had a pass defensed as well on Sunday. He has 31 tackles now for the season, so he's been a good IDP option already, and just flashed some higher potential in week 3.
Saints' Pete Werner finished with 13 tackles this week. He also recovered a fumble. Werner is up to 27 tackles on the season, showing he's a pretty consistent and solid IDP option.
Chargers' Derwin James Jr., Vikings' Ivan Pace Jr., Cardinals' Mack Wilson Sr. and Broncos' Alex Singleton had 12 tackles each on Sunday.
James had a sack among his 12 tackles. He's up to 26 tackles on the season, showing some consistency and high-upside IDP potential.
Pace has 26 tackles on the season now. He has upped his tackle totals over the last two weeks, and looks like a pretty strong weekly IDP option.
Wilson had two passes defensed along with all the tackles. He has 28 tackles and four passes defensed on the season now. Wilson is an underrated, but pretty strong IDP option right now.
Singleton has 27 tackles for the season now. He's upped his tackle numbers in the first three weeks, and is a good IDP option moving forward.
Sack Leaders
Commanders' Bobby Wagner, Steelers' T.J. Watt, Broncos' Nik Bonitto, Colts' Tyquan Lewis, Packers' Rashan Gary and Vikings' Andrew Van Ginkel all had two sacks on Sunday.
Wagner had 11 tackles in total, so it was another big IDP showing for the elite linebacker. He has 32 tackles now on the season, so the tackle numbers alone are enough to start him in fantasy leagues weekly.
Watt had five tackles, a forced fumble and fumble recovery in the team's win. Those were his first two sacks of the year, so maybe that will get him rolling. He's an elite fantasy option, and has four or five tackles in each of the first three games to add some other value.
Bonitto had four tackles on Sunday, which brings his season total to 10. He has three sacks now. Bonitto is a great IDP option on his sack numbers alone, so the decent tackle output is just a bonus.
Lewis had a breakout game on Sunday. He had three tackles, and now just four tackles on the season. I wouldn't overreact too much to this outing, but in really deep IDP setups, Lewis could get added.
Gary had three tackles on Sunday, which brings his season total to 13. He has 4.5 sacks now, and at least one in each game. Gary has thrived with Micah Parsons on the field too, and should remain a good IDP option on his sack numbers alone.
Van Ginkel's sacks accounted for his only two tackles. He had five tackles and two passes defensed in his first game of the season, so Van Ginkel remains a pretty good IDP weekly option.
Takeaway Standouts
Of the players who had takeaways, several delivered good fantasy showings overall.
Vikings' Isaiah Rodgers had an 87-yard pick six, two passes defensed and forced fumbles, plus a fumble recovery (that he returned 66 yards for a score). He also finished with three tackles. Rodgers has 12 tackles on the season, and no other big plays, so don't overreact too much to this performance - again though, he should be added in some deeper IDP leagues as a result of it.
Vikings' Eric Wilson had a forced fumble and seven tackles. He has 17 tackles on the season, giving him some decent IDP value.
Browns' Devin Bush had a forced fumble and seven tackles as well. He has 22 tackles, a sack, the forced fumble and three passes defensed this season, which is plenty of IDP value.
Jaguars' Tyson Campbell posted seven tackles and a forced fumble, along with a pass defensed. He has 18 tackles on the season, along with five passes defensed, so he's a good IDP weekly option.
Browns' Grant Delpit had nine tackles and an interception that helped the team stun the Packers. He has 18 tackles for the year, so he's already a solid IDP option before any splash plays.
Bears' Kevin Byard III tallied seven tackles and picked off a pass. He now has 16 tackles for the season, so he's another decent IDP option before any bigger plays.
Eagles' Zack Baun picked off a pass, knocked down two passes and had seven tackles. He's up to 22 tackles for the year, so anything else he does is just gravy.
Chiefs' Jaylen Watson had seven tackles and an interception. He knocked down two passes in total. He has 22 tackles for the year, and is an underrated IDP option.
Eagles' Jordan Davis had a sack among his five tackles and recovered a blocked kick and rumbled 61 yards for a score. He has 16 tackles, which is a solid mark for a defensive tackle, and makes him a good IDP option.
Panthers' Chau Smith-Wade had a pick six and five tackles. He has just eight tackles for the season, so while he can be added in some deeper leagues, I wouldn't read too much into this performance.
Colts' Kenny Moore II had a pick six and two tackles before hurting his calf in Sunday's game. We'll see if he misses any time, but the cornerback has some weekly IDP upside at his position.
Buccaneers' Jamel Dean picked off a pass and returned it 55 yards for a score, but had just one tackle. He has 10 tackles on the year, so his IDP value isn't the best moving forward.
Other IDP Standouts
Bengals' Kris Jenkins Jr. had 1.5 sacks across six tackles. He was one of the few bright spots for Cincy in a blowout loss. Jenkins has 11 tackles for the year, so while this was a great outing, he'll need to build on it for IDP fantasy owners to add and utilize him going forward.
Browns' Maliek Collins had 1.5 sacks across his five tackles. He didn't have a tackle across the first two weeks, so he's not an automatic add in IDP leagues - he can be added in some deeper setups though.
Buccaneers' Lavonte David had a sack across his 11 total tackles. He has 22 tackles and 1.5 sacks now for the season, so he remains a good weekly starting IDP option.
Chiefs' George Karlaftis had a sack across his 10 tackles, and also was credited with a pass defensed. He has two sacks and 16 tackles on the season, so don't expect this kind of tackle production going forward, but he is an IDP option with his sack totals.
Browns' Carson Schwesinger had a sack among his 10 tackles. He has 23 total tackles on the season, and already is a good IDP option in his rookie year.
