Like many fantasy football sites, I have Ferguson atop my tight end list going into week 6.
He has the second-best fantasy matchup a tight end could have so it makes sense. Ferguson has been on fire as a fantasy asset, and I don't see him slowing this week.
2. Tyler Warren
Warren jumps a couple spots to No. 2 for week 6.
He has a matchup against the Cardinals. The rookie tight end has been good in his first five games, and I see him putting up one of his best showings this coming week.
3. Trey McBride
McBride falls a couple spots for this week.
Of course, he's the other tight end in the Cardinals, Colts game. The matchup for McBride is tougher, which is part of the reason why he ranks a little lower this week.
4. Brock Bowers
Bowers checks in at No. 4 - you'll need to monitor his status after he missed week 5 with an injury.
He's slowed since week 1, which is when he first started dealing with this injury. I can only drop him so low, because his upside is greater than any other fantasy tight end.
5. Tucker Kraft
After his bye week, I have Kraft all the way up at No. 5.
He has the best fantasy matchup possible for a tight end, so even this ranking might be too low. We'll see if Kraft can deliver another monster showing for his fantasy owners against the Bengals.
6. Hunter Henry
Henry is my No. 6 fantasy TE again.
He's got a matchup against the Saints in week 6, which is a very favorable test for a fantasy tight end. With his production so far this season, I like the idea of playing him this week.
7. Sam LaPorta
LaPorta drops a couple spots this week, even after a good outing in week 5.
He has the Chiefs in week 6, which is a really tough test for a tight end. LaPorta hasn't been consistent enough to feel super confident in him in a tougher test.
Waller jumps up to No. 8 after he delivered again in week 5.
He also has a tougher test, or he'd rank higher. The Chargers are a top-five defense when it comes to slowing fantasy tight ends, but I still trust Waller to score enough points for a top-10 finish.
9. Travis Kelce
Kelce remains in my top 10, but falls a spot going into a tougher matchup.
His clash is more average against the Lions, but he hasn't been good enough to take any higher than this, in my opinion. We'll see if he can build on a nice showing from last week.
10. David Njoku
Njoku gets a healthy bump up after a good outing in week 5.
He has a very favorable matchup against the Steelers, so this ranking could be a little low for him even. We'll see if Njoku can build on last week.
11. Juwan Johnson
Johnson struggled a bit last week, but I'm not ready to fully give up on him yet.
His favorable matchup against the Patriots makes him a good streaming option this week, so I'm willing to try him at least once more.
12. Dalton Kincaid
I was surprised to learn that Kincaid is tied for TE3 on a per-game basis so far. Touchdowns are propping his numbers up a bit, but that counts for something too.
He has a brutal matchup against the Falcons, who have allowed the fewest points to tight ends so far. I still trust in Kincaid and the Bills' offense to get him to a reasonable fantasy score.
13. Dallas Goedert
All Goedert seems to do is catch touchdowns - that's obviously nice for his fantasy owners, but it doesn't make him a great fantasy asset.
He has a tougher test against the Giants this week, but it's also a game he could score in again, so I'm not dropping him any further. If he scores again, there's a decent chance he finishes higher than I have him ranked.
14. Kyle Pitts Sr.
Pitts is another tight end with a tough matchup this week - he faces the Bills.
He should be fresh coming off his bye week, and he delivered the last time he played, so I'm fine firing up Pitts this week. We'll see if he can establish himself as a good weekly option moving forward.
15. Mason Taylor
Taylor gets a healthy bump up after a couple nice showings in a row.
He has the Broncos in week 6, who are a tougher matchup on paper. With Taylor as his team's No. 2 option in the passing game, I'd be fine starting him in all league types.
16. Mark Andrews
Baltimore got rocked in week 5 without Lamar Jackson, and he could miss another game in week 6 - Andrews would bump up a few spots if Jackson ended up playing.
Andrews' matchup against the Rams is pretty average, so I'm willing to stick him right in the middle of the rankings, although he's in the bottom half of my top-25 rankings.
17. Harold Fannin
I'm still rolling with Fannin even after three straight games of 25 or less receiving yards.
He did score last week, so that's a boost for his fantasy outlook. Plus, his favorable matchup against the Steelers means he and Njoku could both deliver good fantasy totals.
18. Theo Johnson
A lot of fantasy owners are going to want to start Johnson this week, but the clash against the Eagles isn't a favorable one, at all.
It's a bottom-five matchup for a tight end, so he might need to find the end zone again to finish any higher than this ranking.
19. Zach Ertz
Ertz has slowed a bit after a solid start to the season. With Jayden Daniels back now, his fantasy outlook is improved, so he sticks in my top 20.
Ertz has the Bears in week 6, which is a pretty average matchup. We'll see if the tight end can get back on track in this one.
20. Evan Engram
Engram has been involved enough over the past two weeks, but it hasn't resulted in much yardage. He found the end zone last week to deliver his first double-digit fantasy outing of the season.
The matchup he has against the Jets is pretty favorable, but I'm not sold on him as a fantasy asset yet, so that's why he ranks a little lower.
21. Jake Tonges
Tonges had a big game in week 5, but that came with Ricky Pearsall and Jauan Jennings out of the lineup. If they are back in week 6, which I expect, then Tonges' fantasy outlook takes a hit.
I still like him enough to try in some deeper setups. His matchup against the Bucs is just above average, so there's a chance he finishes even higher than this.
22. AJ Barner
Barner broke out in week 5, but has been good over the past two weeks now.
He has a slightly below-average matchup against the Jaguars, so there's a chance he could surprise again. I at least have him ranked this week though.
23. Jonnu Smith
Smith has not factored in as much as I expected he would in Pittsburgh, so he's outside my top 20.
He has the Browns in week 6, which is another below-average matchup. We'll see if Smith can come through and set himself up as a better option moving forward.
24. Chig Okonkwo
Okonkwo has a pretty tough test against the Raiders in week 6.
He had solid numbers last week, but still has just one double-digit outing on the season. With that in mind, this is where I feel safest ranking him.
25. Cade Otton
Otton finally got rolling in week 5, but it came in a very favorable fantasy matchup.
He has the Niners this week, which is a pretty average matchup for a tight end. I'd be willing to try Otton in some deeper setups to see if he can pick up where he left off in week 5.
