Let's now go over some fantasy baseball waiver wire hitting options for Tuesday!

We just went over some pitching waiver wire options, including three starting pitchers and two closers.

Fantasy baseball waiver wire options can be found all season on FantasySP!

Esmerlyn Valdez - Pittsburgh Pirates

Valdez has been added in 15.54% of fantasy baseball leagues so far today. He's sitting at 27.44% overall now.

He is on a tear at the plate, with a home run in four straight games. Valdez has eight hits over that span, including two doubles. He has 11 hits over his past seven contests.

Valdez has played in 16 games this season, getting 50 plate appearances so far. He has 13 hits, including six home runs and four doubles. Valdez has 12 RBIs, 10 runs scored, five walks and 19 strikeouts.

The outfielder is rising quickly as a fantasy asset, and could be in standard leagues in a hurry if he keeps delivering. I like him just in deeper fantasy leagues for now, but that could change with another couple big games. You could stream him in standard leagues if you need a short-term bat.

Caleb Durbin - Boston Red Sox

Durbin is up 6%, and now sits at 54.89% overall.

He continues to trend up, and now has seven hits over a five-game hitting streak. Durbin has 18 knocks over his past 12 games. He has four doubles and home runs over that stretch, plus nine RBIs, 10 runs scored, four stolen bases, three walks and seven strikeouts.

The third baseman has a .231 average and .286 on-base percentage over 76 games and 271 plate appearances this season after a cold start. He has 57 hits now, including 17 doubles, seven home runs and a triple. Durbin has 35 RBIs, 31 runs scored, nine stolen bases, 16 walks and 39 strikeouts.

He could also be eligible at shortstop or second base from what he did a season ago, which would only up his fantasy value. Durbin is worth adding back in deeper leagues now, and if he keeps delivering at the plate, he could be worth trying in standard leagues, like he was earlier this season.

Chase DeLauter - Cleveland Guardians

DeLauter has been picked up in 2.96% of leagues, which brings his overall mark to 62.59%.

He has an eight-game hitting streak going, with 12 knocks over that span. DeLauter has two doubles among the hits, plus five RBIs, three runs scored, two walks and eight strikeouts.

DeLauter has a .269 average and .341 OBP over 68 games and 279 plate appearances in his first big league regular season. DeLauter has 13 doubles, seven homers and a triple among his 67 hits, plus 37 RBIs, 25 runs scored, two stolen bases, 28 walks and 38 strikeouts.

The outfielder is trending back up, and continues to be a streaky hitter. Being at a stacked outfield position holds his fantasy value back a bit, but in better hitting stretches, he's worth utilizing in all deeper leagues and some standard leagues.

Jake McCarthy - Colorado Rockies

McCarthy is up 7.12% and is now rostered in 71.43% of leagues overall.

He has been really good in June, collecting 30 hits over 21 games and just 92 plate appearances. McCarthy has eight doubles, three homers and two triples among the hits, plus 12 RBIs, 13 runs scored, three stolen bases, five walks and 14 strikeouts.

McCarthy has a .306 average and .344 OBP in the hitter-friendly confines of Colorado. He's played in 70 games, getting 250 plate appearances this season and has 70 hits, including 16 doubles, five triples and six homers. McCarthy has 36 RBIs, 31 runs scored, 13 stolen bases, 14 walks and 44 strikeouts.

He might be on a bad team overall, but McCarthy is delivering plenty at the plate, and that makes him a good fantasy asset. He needs to be owned and utilized in all deeper leagues, and those lacking outfielders in standard leagues could benefit from adding McCarthy today too.

Luis Garcia Jr. - Washington Nationals

Garcia has been picked up in 7.87% of leagues and is at 82.22% overall now.

He has eight hits over his past three games, including three home runs. Garcia has 11 hits over his past seven contests, including six homers and two doubles.

Garcia is up to 16 homers on the season - he has 14 doubles and three triples across 73 total hits. He has a .280 average and .310 OBP over 79 games and 274 plate appearances. Garcia has 55 RBIs, 38 runs scored, two stolen bases, 12 walks and 41 strikeouts.

The primary first baseman this season has second base eligibility from past seasons, and that dual eligibility makes him an even better fantasy asset right now. He's hitting well enough to add and utilize in any fantasy league, especially if you are lacking at 1B or 2B, or just the infield in general. Add Garcia before he cools off.
