Week 15 Thursday DFS Lineup: Bijan Robinson, Baker Mayfield, Bucky Irving and More
Morgan puts together a DFS lineup for the week 15 Thursday game between the Buccaneers and Falcons.
We went over Falcons and Buccaneers in trending fantasy football decisions, and now will put together a DFS lineup for the week 15 Thursday night contest.
This six-player lineup on DraftKings has a $50,000 salary. There's a captain, costing 1.5 times more, but also scoring 1.5 times more, and five flex spots.
Let's see what we can put together!

Captain - Kyle Pitts Sr. ($9,600)
Pitts is questionable with a knee injury, so you'll need to watch his status as kickoff approaches.
He's averaging 10.1 fantasy points per game this season, and has a slightly below average on paper. So why did I take Pitts as the captain? Drake London is out for Atlanta, so the team has to throw the ball to someone, and I think it'll be the tight end who leads the way.
Taking Pitts as the captain leaves a ton of salary to spend on my five flex spots, so as long as Pitts plays, it's a great idea in my eyes.
If Pitts doesn't play, you could swap Darnell Mooney in for him. Mooney costs just $300 more, so it wouldn't alter the rest of my lineup too much.
Flex - Bijan Robinson ($11,200)
Robinson is a pricey pick, but I think he's clearly the top fantasy asset for Atlanta tonight, especially with London out again.
Robinson is averaging 21.9 fantasy points per game, even after scoring just 10.4 points last week. His matchup is a pretty good one, and he tallied 27.4 points the last time the teams met.
Robinson has a chance to easily pass his season average in the favorable matchup, so he was a must-add player for this DFS lineup.
Flex - Bucky Irving ($10,200)
Give me the Bucs' top running back next.
Irving is averaging 18 fantasy points per contest, and has scored 16.1 in each of his first two games back on the field.
He has a slightly above-average matchup, and I think he'll end up as the top Tampa Bay fantasy asset if this game stays relatively close. I just have to hope the Bucs don't pass for every score, and that he doesn't lose a rushing score to anyone else.
Flex - Baker Mayfield ($10,000)
Mayfield is my next choice, so now I'm covered if Tampa Bay scores a ton through the air. Ideally, he and Irving connect on a score or two.
Mayfield is averaging 17 fantasy points per game, but hasn't been over 14.5 points in three straight. He scored 22.6 fantasy points against Atlanta way back in week 1.
His matchup is just above average, and I think he's going to put up a strong fantasy score tonight.
Flex - Chase McLaughlin ($5,000)
I see the Bucs scoring early and often in this game, and it being a lopsided contest in their favor, so it makes sense to add the Tampa Bay kicker.
McLaughlin is averaging 9.2 fantasy points per game, and of course, is a great way to save some salary. He's scored nine and 10 points over the past two games, and had six back in week 1 against the Falcons.
Ideally, a couple Tampa Bay possessions break down so McLaughlin can knock in a couple field goals. A double-digit fantasy scoring output seems doable for McLaughlin tonight.
Flex - Tyler Allgeier ($4,000)
I decided to use up the rest of my salary and take Allgeier with my final lineup spot.
He is averaging 8.3 fantasy points per game, and has gone over that mark in two straight. Again, the matchup is an above-average one, so both Atlanta backs could put up some fantasy points.
I already see Allgeier being more involved with London out of the picture again. If Pitts also misses the game, Allgeier should really be involved.
Final Thoughts
I don't love my fantasy lineup for this DFS contest, but I don't think I could ever get to a great spot with this matchup tonight.
The Bucs might get Mike Evans and Jalen McMillan back, which is great for their offense, but it makes it tough to determine which receiver is worth a DFS lineup spot. I ended up just skipping the position, but Evans, McMillan, Emeka Egbuka or Chris Godwin could realistically lead the way tonight, especially with tight end Cade Otton likely out of the picture.
It made more sense to add Mayfield and Irving, as those are two guys who for sure will be involved and scoring fantasy points. I expect them to be the team's top-two scorers, and McLaughlin could challenge for the third-best score, especially if no receiver scores a touchdown.
For Atlanta, there's not very many fantasy assets to choose from outside Robinson. Pitts is a good option, but his injury concern makes him a riskier add to this lineup.
I have to hope both teams are moving the ball, and I could be in line for a good fantasy score. It's usually the lineups I feel the worst about that score the best, so let's hope that happens this week.
Best of luck with your week 15 fantasy football lineup decisions, and any DFS lineups you put together!
