Fantasy Football Week 11 QB and TE FAAB: Dillon Gabriel, Colston Loveland, and More
FAAB bid ranges for some of the top quarterback and tight end names on the waiver wire heading into Week 11.
Fantasy owners in FAAB leagues are running out of time to use their remaining budget. It's not time to panic and just throw money on players who aren't worth it, but if there is a guy who can help your roster, there's no reason to wait; seize the opportunity.
It's easy to get into hoarding mode and save all your money for the perfect pickup, but that's likely not coming at this point in the season. It's fine to keep your dollars if there's no one to spend them on, but it's getting to be time to get aggressive if you have a large sum remaining.
Let's look at some of the hottest quarterback and tight end names on the waiver wire this week and reasonable FAAB bid ranges for each. Your numbers might vary a bit based on your remaining budget and roster needs, but this is a good baseline to start from. All bids are based on a $100 budget.

Quarterback
Dillon Gabriel, Cleveland Browns
Gabriel had his best fantasy game of the year on Sunday, topping 20 fantasy points and ranking as QB9. He also had his best rushing day of the year, running for 54 yards on five attempts against the Jets; those two things are related.
That's about where the good times end, though. Gabriel threw for just 167 yards on 5.2 per attempt; both numbers are right around his season-long stats. Two touchdowns with no interceptions was nice, but Gabriel wasn't successful throwing the ball for the most part.
Guys who don't throw it well can still find fantasy success if they regularly run, but that likely won't be the case for the Cleveland QB. Before Week 10, Gabriel had run for 30 total yards in four games. That's more likely to expect moving forward than his 54-yard outburst.
There's likely no real fantasy value here. Gabriel has been below average in every aspect, and he is a low-floor fantasy player.

Davis Mills, Houston Texans
Mills is a backup quarterback, so his fantasy value is immediately capped. He can be counted on as a low-level streamer in the right situations, but Mills isn't a guy we want to count on often.
His Week 10 ended up as a big fantasy score, as Houston went down 17-0 in the first half and 29-10 with less than 17 minutes left and had to throw often to catch up (and eventually take the lead and win). Mills ended up with 292 yards, two touchdowns, one interception, 20 rushing yards, and a rushing TD; that made him QB1 for the week!
That will inevitably put him on the fantasy radar, but as I laid out above, that value is fleeting. It took him 45 pass attempts to rack up those stats, a below-average 6.5 per attempt. Houston's offense just isn't that good, and Mills has shown to be a limited passer.
C.J. Stroud has to clear concussion protocol, so his status for Week 11 is still up in the air. Even if Mills is starting, he's not a guy I want to put in my lineup unless I'm absolutely desperate.

Tyler Shough, New Orleans Saints
Shough had the best game of his young career on Sunday, throwing for 282 yards on 10.4 per attempt with two touchdowns and no interceptions. That came against the Carolina Panthers, who aren't great defensively by any means but had gotten close to average against the pass.
Can Shough be a fantasy impact player moving forward? Probably not. He was below average in both of his first two starts before this, and he is likely to perform closer to that low level more often than he excels.
Shough also doesn't run the ball, totaling just 11 yards in three games. Without great talent around him, there aren't many avenues toward fantasy success for Shough. He hit a few long passes in Week 10 that helped his numbers, but when those don't show up, he is going to put up low fantasy scores.

Tight End
Colston Loveland, Chicago Bears
After his first good game of the season in Week 9 (six receptions, 118 yards, and two touchdowns), Loveland followed it up with four catches and 55 yards against the Giants on Sunday. More notable is that Cole Kmet caught just one pass for five yards.
If Loveland moves into a more secure role at the top of the depth chart, he will have fantasy value. The question is whether he will continue producing, even at a modest level, after an anonymous first six games.
His opponent two weeks ago was the Bengals, the team that has allowed the most fantasy points to tight ends. Week 10 came against the Giants, who are right in the middle against the pass and against tight ends in fantasy.
The most likely outcome is that Loveland has some good games and some slower ones, showing the inconsistency that most rookies do. He should be considered with the matchup, and next week's game against the Vikings is somewhere in the middle; Loveland is fine to add if you're in need at tight end, especially this late in the season.

Colby Parkinson, Los Angeles Rams
With the Rams finding so much success in the passing game, it's surprising that no tight end on the team has stood out. Part of the problem is shared snaps; Parkinson, Tyler Higbee, and Davis Allen have each played between 50 and 60% of the snaps the past two weeks, making it hard for one guy to stand out consistently without a great skillset.
Parkinson had the best day in Week 10, catching four passes for 41 yards and a touchdown. Higbee had three for 33, and while Allen had two receptions for just eight yards, he also scored a TD. It was a good day for the group but mostly modest individually.
Each of the Rams' tight ends relies on touchdowns for good fantasy days, and that's dangerous to count on regularly. These are just low-level fantasy players, and it's hard to know who will perform best week to week. You can usually find a better fantasy option elsewhere.

Dalton Schultz, Houston Texans
With a young and rotating cast of receivers in Houston, Schultz has become one of their most stable pass catchers, leading the team in receptions and ranking second behind Nico Collins in targets and receiving yards.
Schultz was very modest statistically in 2023-24 with C.J. Stroud at quarterback. He averaged 56 receptions and 583.5 yards while scoring seven total touchdowns; that's fine, but it had him as a low-to-mid-level fantasy player, especially when he found the end zone less often in 2024.
He is a different player from a production standpoint this year, on pace to smash those previous numbers with 85 catches and 827 yards. He has only scored once, but Schultz has been much more involved, making him a more stable fantasy guy.
Schultz is still only a streamer who should be played with the matchups, but he was often below the streaming level last year. Week 11 against the Titans is a decent matchup, and Schultz will be an OK streamer.
