Established Backup with Contingency Appeal Exclusively in Deep Superflex Formats

Davis Mills enters the season established as Houston's primary backup behind franchise quarterback C.J. Stroud. Mills proved capable when called upon last year, posting 1,068 passing yards and seven touchdowns across seven appearances. However, with Stroud firmly directing the starting offense, Mills holds zero standalone fantasy value.

Market sentiment reflects this reality. Draft trends show his ADP plummeting from the mid-300s in early August to near pick 1,000 to close out draft season. With virtually no redraft demand in 1.0 PPR leagues, he is going untouched across standard formats.
