Late Week 10 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Adds: Devin Singletary, DeMario Douglas, Mark Andrews and More
Looking at some players being added as the weekend slate of week 10 games near.
Another NFL regular season week is underway after the Broncos edged the Raiders in a low-scoring game on Thursday.
As we have on a few occasions this season, let's go over some fantasy football waiver wire options.
Fantasy football waiver options can be found daily on FantasySP!
Running Backs
Four running backs are on the rise as the weekend hits.
Devin Singletary is up 2.43% and sits at 47.67% owned overall now. He led the Giants' backfield last week, so fantasy owners are hoping the same thing happens in week 10 against the Bears.
It's a favorable matchup, and he's projected for 7.9 PPR fantasy points. At that same link, his fantasy floor is five points, while his ceiling is 13.5 points.
Terrell Jennings is up 2.09% and now sits at 10.91% overall. He is expected to be the No. 2 back for the Patriots again, as Rhamondre Stevenson is unlikely to play through his injury.
Jennings is set for 3.9 PPR points against the Buccaneers, and that could rise when Stevenson is ruled out. His fantasy floor is 1.5 points, while his ceiling is seven points.
Emari Demercado has been added in 1.33% of leagues, bringing his overall mark to 36.25%. He had a surprisingly good showing in week 9, so it makes sense for him to get a little deep-league love this week.
He is projected for 8.8 PPR points, with a floor of five points and ceiling of 14. Demercado has a matchup against the Seahawks this week.
Rachaad White is up 1.07% and is now rostered in 94.29% of leagues. Bucky Irving was ruled out again with his injury, so White will start and lead the Bucs' backfield in his place.
I'm surprised White isn't rostered in 100% of leagues, although this was the week Irving was supposed to return. White is projected for 11.82 PPR points, with a floor or seven and ceiling of 18. Scoop him up if he's available in your league.
Wide Receivers
Jauan Jennings and DeMario Douglas are the only two wide receivers on the rise as the weekend hits.
Jennings is up 1.49% and now he sits at 94.29% overall. He is projected for 9.87 PPR points against the Rams this week.
Jennings' fantasy floor is five points, and his ceiling is 15 points. He's been a steady, but unspectacular, fantasy asset over the past three games.
Douglas has the Buccaneers this week and is projected for 7.3 points. He is rostered in just 17.92% of leagues after a 1.34% increase.
He went off last week, so I'm surprised he didn't get added in any more fantasy leagues after that. His fantasy floor is 3.5 points, while his ceiling is 12-13 points. If you need wide receiver help in a deeper league, I like Douglas a good bit, especially with Kayshon Boutte out of the picture with his injury.
Tight Ends
Luke Musgrave and Mark Andrews are the two tight ends being added in fantasy leagues today.
Musgrave is up 1.21%, and is now rostered in 23.32% of leagues overall. He is expected to serve as the Packers' top tight end after the season-ending injury to Tucker Kraft.
He's projected for a healthy 7.6 PPR points against the Eagles on Monday night. That's not a great matchup, so his floor is 3.5 points - his fantasy ceiling is 12 points.
Andrews has been added in 1.13% of leagues, which brings his overall mark to 88.28%. He's coming off a huge fantasy performance, but two touchdowns really powered that effort.
He is set for 10.18 PPR points against the Vikings in week 10. Andrews' fantasy floor is 5.5 points, with a ceiling of 16 points. If you don't love your fantasy TE this week, Andrews is a more-than-capable pickup and starting option.
Quarterbacks
Sam Darnold is the only quarterback who is part of the fantasy football waiver wire page today. He is up 1.14% and sits at 80.78% overall.
He's coming off a stellar fantasy showing, and has been pretty underrated as a fantasy asset all season. He is projected for 15.9 points against the Cardinals in week 10.
Darnold's fantasy floor is 12.5 points, while his ceiling is 26 points. The matchup isn't the best, but off his big performance, he might be worth trying in week 10, especially after the team added Rashid Shaheed to improve the offense.
DSTs and Kickers
Most of the waiver wire list is comprised of defenses/special teams and kickers. Instead of listing everyone (eight DSTs and kickers), I just wanted to highlight a couple of each.
The Panthers DST is up 7.96% and is now owned in 53.75% of leagues overall. They are projected for 7.5 fantasy points against the Saints. That's obviously a favorable matchup, which makes the Carolina DST one of my favorite options this week.
The Bills DST has been added in 5.24% of leagues and is owned in 74.55% of leagues overall. They are projected for 6.8 points against the Dolphins. Buffalo's defense only managed two fantasy points in the first test against Miami, but I like them to fare better this time around.
The Buccaneers DST is up 4.07% and sits at 40.57% overall. They are projected for 7.4 points against the Patriots. The matchup might not look the best, but New England gives up a lot of sacks, and can turn the ball over, so don't write off Tampa Bay's DST.
Jason Myers is the most-added kicker, up 4.42% to 72.02% overall. He's projected for 8.3 points against the Cardinals, and has eight or more in three straight games.
Matt Prater is up 2.73% and is rostered in 48.96% of leagues overall. He is set for 9.1 points against the Dolphins - he scored seven points against them in the last matchup.
