1. Josh Allen
Connect your league to uncover strengths & weaknesses, waiver assistance, trade scenarios, and get instant start/sit clarity.
Allen gets the top spot again this week, something that will happen a lot of weeks.
The dual-threat quarterback has a matchup against the Raiders, who are one of the top fantasy matchups a QB can have. Allen already is a top-end fantasy QB, so adding in a good matchup boosts his outlook, and my confidence in ranking him first.
2. Brock Purdy
Purdy has been the No. 2 fantasy QB so far, and he has a favorable matchup coming against the Commanders, so he lands the No. 2 spot this week.
Washington is the second-best fantasy matchup a QB could have, so I'm expecting big things out of Purdy this week.
3. Jordan Love
Love gets the surprise nod at No. 3 this week, with a stellar matchup against the Cowboys being why.
Love is coming off a monster performance, and has been a pretty good asset most of the season, so play the matchup and trust the Packers' QB this week.
Mahomes got a bye in Week 5 and will get a matchup against the winless Chargers next.
Los Angeles has been a below-average fantasy test so far, but Mahomes has been good, so I'm trusting the elite QB to put up a good amount of fantasy points.
5. Drake Maye
Maye is right back to being a top-end fantasy QB option after a slower start to the season.
He gets the Jets in Week 6. New York has been a tougher matchup so far, but with the way Maye is trending, I still like him a bunch this week.
Daniels lands the No. 6 spot heading into a matchup with the 49ers.
San Fran is about the same level of matchup as the Jets, and despite Daniels being a better dual-threat option, I trust Maye slightly more than Daniels right now.
Stafford lands the No. 7 spot heading into a very favorable matchup against the Cardinals.
Stafford is coming off a big fantasy showing, and I think he delivers another top-10 score in Week 6.
I expect Jackson to be back on the field in Week 6, when the Ravens battle the Browns.
Cleveland has been an average test so far, but with Jackson's injury concern, this is as high as I want to rank him this week.
9. Bryce Young
Young has been a high-end fantasy QB so far, and he'll look to keep rolling in Week 6 against the Eagles.
Philly is an above-average matchup by a little bit, so things are lined up for Young to deliver another top-10 score again.
10. Jalen Hurts
The other quarterback in that Eagles-Panthers game ranks 10th.
Hurts has another above-average matchup, but with so-so results on the field of late, this is as high as I feel comfortable ranking him.
11. Dak Prescott
Prescott struggled a bit in Week 5, and he'll look to bounce back against the Packers in Week 6.
Green Bay has been very tough on QBs so far, so I'm tempering expectations a bit and ranking Prescott 11th.
12. Trevor Lawrence
Lawrence is coming off a big fantasy outing and will look to keep things rolling in Week 6 against the Texans.
Houston has been pretty average against fantasy QBs so far, so having Lawrence just above the middle of the rankings feels like the right placement for him.
13. Tyler Shough
Shough had an abysmal performance against a stout Vikings' defense in Week 5, so he's looking to bounce back in Week 6.
He gets a challenge from the Giants, who are a slightly above-average test on paper. I think Shough bounces back a bit and delivers an average fantasy showing.
14. Kirk Cousins
Cousins is coming off a down fantasy showing as well, so he's looking to rebound.
He gets the Bills this week, which doesn't seem like a game the Raiders should win, but the fantasy matchup is a top-five one, so I think Cousins could deliver a sneaky-good performance this week.
15. Caleb Williams
I expect Williams to return to the field in Week 6, when the Bears are facing the Falcons.
Atlanta is an above-average matchup on paper, but coming off an injury, I'm not putting too much trust in Williams.
16. Jameis Winston
Winston turned in a big fantasy showing in Week 5, and will hope for another big outing in Week 6 against the Saints.
New Orleans is a pretty average matchup on paper, so I expect average fantasy results from the veteran QB.
17. Aaron Rodgers
Rodgers has found a groove over the past three games. He gets the Buccaneers in Week 6.
Tampa Bay has been pretty tough on fantasy QBs so far, so I'm listing Rodgers as a below-average option for the week.
18. C.J. Stroud
Stroud has delivered above-average results two weeks in a row, and he'll look to keep trending up against Jacksonville this weekend.
I wanted to rank him higher, but a tougher fantasy test has me taking Stroud 18th this week.
19. Jacoby Brissett
He delivered pretty well in a favorable matchup last week, so we'll see what Brissett can now do against the Rams.
LA is a slightly above-average matchup, so some might like Brissett a bit more than I do. This is just where he feels safest to me this week.
20. Deshaun Watson
Watson's fantasy results have been a bit below average over the past two games. He will look for more in a battle with the Ravens this week.
Baltimore is a slightly below-average matchup, so I think Watson delivers pretty close to that level.
21. Michael Penix
Penix is dealing with an injury, so his status needs to be monitored. He'll start against the Bears if he's healthy.
Chicago is a slightly above-average matchup, but I haven't seen enough from Penix this season to rank him any higher.
22. Sam Darnold
Darnold struggled last week and only has one big fantasy showing so far this season.
A below-average matchup against the Broncos doesn't do him any favors, so I see below-average results coming for Darnold.
23. Daniel Jones
Jones has been underwhelming so far this season, so he's hard to trust right now.
He has a winnable game against the Titans coming, but Tennessee has actually been a below-average matchup, giving even more reason to not try Darnold this week.
24. Cam Ward
Despite the Titans' record, Ward has a couple decent fantasy showings under his belt.
He could surprise this week, even if the Titans lose again, as Indy is a top-eight fantasy matchup for QBs so far.
25. Bo Nix
Nix struggled again in Week 5, and has just one above-average showing so far in 2026.
He has a very tough test coming against the Seahawks, so I'd do my best to avoid Nix in Week 6.
26. Justin Herbert
Herbert has been even worse than Nix this season, and he's really tough to trust now.
Throw in a very tough test against the Chiefs and I would be doing my best to avoid Herbert in Week 6.
27. Baker Mayfield or Jalon Daniels
Regardless of who starts for the Bucs in Week 6, I have them ranked 27th.
The Steelers have been one of the toughest fantasy matchups for QBs so far, so I'd want to avoid the rookie Daniels or Mayfield coming off his injury.
28. Geno Smith
Smith had a couple solid fantasy showings earlier this season, but has a couple duds in a row.
New England is his matchup. Not only is it a game the Jets are unlikely to win, but it's also a below-average fantasy test, so I'd be skipping Smith this week.
Other Notes
If Jackson isn't cleared, it will be Tyler Huntley getting the nod for the Ravens again. I'd rank Huntley between Ward and Nix if he ends up getting the start for Baltimore.
If Williams doesn't play for Chicago, Tyson Bagent or Case Keenum would start instead. I'd rank Bagent or Keenum after Herbert and before whichever Bucs' QB starts.
If Penix cannot play, it will likely be Tua Tagovailoa out there. I'd throw him at the bottom of the rankings if he gets the start for Atlanta, as I just do not trust Tua as a fantasy asset.
