Week 15 Fantasy Football Running Back & Wide Receiver Waiver Wire Pickups: Jameson Williams Leads The Way!
Despite missing most of his rookie season, WR Jameson Williams of the Lions finally got going this weekend and found the end zone in his NFL debut. His very first reception was a touchdown bomb thrown by the red-hot Jared Goff. The rookie leads the waiver wire conversation as we take a look at the top free-agent running backs and wide receivers to target as we head into Week 15 of the fantasy football season.
Please Note: We are not including New York Jets revelation Zonovan Knight because he is too highly owned. However, if he's available in your league, you need to pounce on this kid. With Breece Hall out for the remainder of the season, the Jets are going to continue to lean on the talented rookie running back.

Week 15 Waiver Wire Running Backs
RB Chuba Hubbard, Carolina Panthers (38.38% Owned)
Over his last two games, Chuba Hubbard has re-emerged as a dominant force at running back for the Carolina Panthers. He had 17 carries for 65 rushing yards in a Week 12 win over the Broncos. He followed that up with 74 rushing yards, 25 receiving yards, and one touchdown this weekend in a big 30-24 road victory over the Seattle Seahawks. For a guy who you can claim from waivers in more than 60% of leagues at the moment, these numbers aren’t too shabby. If you need a running back, Hubbard could be one of the best free-agent pickups at the position for the remainder of the season.
RB Travis Homer, Seattle Seahawks (58% Owned)
With Kenneth Walker, Rashaad Penny, and DeeJay Dallas all sidelined in Week 14, Travis Homer led the Seahawks' backfield in total touches. While he didn't do much with his 11 touches (34 total yards), game flow didn't help as the Seahawks were chasing the Carolina Panthers all game. Homer may not be the best in-between-the-tackles runner but he's particularly valuable as a pass-catcher out of the backfield. With a quick turnaround for a Thursday Night Football matchup against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 15, Walker and Dallas will likely remain sidelined, leaving Homer as the de-facto RB1 in this offense. It's not a very good matchup as the Niners are the best defensive team in the NFL. However, the Seahawks may find some ways to throw the ball to Homer in open space given that's where he excels the most. While I wouldn't be excited about starting him in this first round of the fantasy football playoffs, some owners may not have another choice. There aren't a lot of running backs on the waiver wire who should see 10+ touches so add Homer if you need a running back. If Walker remains injured heading into Week 16, Homer will have a much better matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs in what should be a high-scoring affair.

Week 15 Waiver Wire Wide Receivers
WR Jameson Williams, Detroit Lions (54.20% Owned)
Jameson Williams finally made his NFL debut after missing most of his rookie season recovering from a torn ACL he sustained in last year’s College National Championship game against the Georgia Bulldogs. In Week 14, the rookie had one catch for 41 yards and the touchdown. Though he only had a single reception in his first NFL outing, Williams is back in action and is available as a free agent in more than 55% of fantasy football leagues at the moment. Although Jared Goff suddenly has a ton of options to target in the passing game including Amon-Ra St. Brown, D.J. Chark, Josh Reynolds, and Williams, most teams are going to double-team St. Brown, which could leave Williams with a ton of one-on-one opportunities. Those are the situations the rookie will exploit down the stretch.
WR Parris Campbell, Indianapolis Colts (54.96% Owned)
Parris Campbell has quietly put together a solid season for the Colts. Despite being the third-best option at wide receiver behind Michael Pittman and rookie Alec Pierce, Campbell has still managed to produce a respectable 497 receiving yards and three touchdowns in 2022. He had five catches for 67 yards in Week 11 against the Eagles, and four receptions for 45 receiving yards in Week 13 against the Cowboys. The Colts’ receiver has done plenty this season and is available in just about 55% of fantasy football leagues. Coming off the bye week, expect the Colts' offense to be much more efficient after getting thrashed in primetime against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 13.
